- Going up from Floor 0 to Floor 65 on the 3 m/s KONE Minispace DX Elevators at the Rose Rayhaan Rotana hotel in Dubai!
Despite the Elevators going 3 m/s (which is quite fast), 3 m/s is quite slow for the amount of floors it serves as you may see in the video. Because it takes a lot of time to reach the top floor (floor 65).

@@ZRHTrainspotter However, those are MiniSpace which are non-MRL elevators. MRL elevators are mostly suitable for low and mid-rise buildings.

These elevators are slow by the way, and they are only like 3m/s which is quite slow for a 65 story building, they usually go like at around 8m/s which is normal for a 65 story building for these elevators, but this is kone with orange indicator system here!

I fully agree, these elevators are way too slow for the amount of floors they serve. It takes almost 2 full minutes to reach the top floor. Totally unlike the neighbouring Gevora Hotel (world’s tallest hotel) where they use 7m/s Xizi OTIS Skyrise elevators. Those are insanely fast! @@ZRHTrainspotter That is quite slow for 65 floors, and it takes like 2 minutes, but it is maybe its good that it travels like at 7m/s to 10m/s, but I would say 12m/s would be way too fast for 65 stories, because sometimes if the elevators go way too fast, people will feel scary.
@@markli4618 for buildings up to 70 floors, 7m/s is perfect 😃, but 3 is definitely not enough

True. Considering it serves 65 floors, 3 m/s is extremely slow. It takes well over a minute to reach the top.
