Love snip scissors! I've had mine for over 45 years. Sounds crazy, I know. At the time I was a seamstress at a sweater mill. The only time they left my hand was when I was putting the collars on the sweaters, which was done on a sewing machine much like the ones we use for our quilting. It was such a fun job.
Thankyou all you information about supplies has helped me think about what I need for my first upcoming retreat next month, planning one sewing machine project and one hand sewing.
You have a great set up there, it looks like you will be able to get a lot done. I used to own a fifth wheel and never thought of bringing projects to work on. The little iron heat pad it's something I need. I didn't realize they made them. Thank you for sharing all these tips. Have a great day!
I'm going to Argentina mid March. I was thinking of bringing a cross stitch project because the plane ride is 10 plus hours. It depends on what kind of layovers we have. If I'm really good I have a small wall hanging that I need to machine quilt, then I could hand stitch the back of the binding on. We will see. I'm glad you are enjoying your trip. :)
Very enjoyable video. You are very organized and you look happy and relaxed. It would be interesting to have to adapt yourself to a much smaller area and thanks to you we can see it can be done.
Do you have to put everthing away each day in order to eat at your dinette? I so enjoy all your videos. Thanks for continuing to publish videos as you are away from home. Eager to here about your retreat adventures.
I love the project box! It such a great size. Where do you get those? Also what was the metal on your hand sewing hexie project? I have one of those going and anything will help. Your camper looks great, it may be a bit larger than mine. We have a 30’. I love your shades, we don’t have those kinds of shades and they make a huge difference. Have a great time.
The project boxes are from Michaels (also available from them online). They are described as 12x12 (but are bigger than that) and are on sale for $9.00 frequently. The metal bit you saw is a Sew-tite magnet. They are a godsend for the hexi joining. If you use my Amazon link in the description box, you may find the magnets in there.
Can you tell me how to wash my quilt that my daughter-in-law got sick to her stomach and stained my quilt and didn’t tell me sfo it’s old stain, help ?
@@lessonslearnt5966 I took your suggestion and I wet the area real good and about 4 hrs. Later the stain is almost gone. So I will wash it. Peroxide is a great solution. Thanks for suggesting it.
Best of both worlds! RV’ing vacation, and ❤ of sewing.👍🏻
All the comforts of home, plus a change of scenery!

I don't have an RV but it was interesting to see what you think is important and how you set it up.
I make a checklist, so don't forget
Thank you! Going on a retreat next month and a trip in April and May. Now I have a better idea of what to take. Enjoy your trip.

Thank you! No, because we have a bar area. I think one time I wanted to use the table and it wasn’t hard to move everything off and then back onto it.

Thank you so much! I will definitely do both!
I got two just like it from Michael's.
Are you plugged into shore power or what is your power source?
Shore power
Can you tell me how to wash my quilt that my daughter-in-law got sick to her stomach and stained my quilt and didn’t tell me sfo it’s old stain, help ?
That’s a tough one. You could try straight hydrogen peroxide on a Q tip to the individual fibers to see if it has any effect on it.

hello please kindly film how to setup the sewing machine inside the rv please ok? Thank you very much 😊
It simply sits on the table. If we move the RV, I must store away safely

Not sure yet
