They can't be ignored.
A wise man once said: "You know you're a great band when you sold out a concert on American soil and you don't even speak English."
That's how great Rammstein are and I had the pleasure of seeing them live here in NJ at MetLife Stadium this month. They're the greatest live band anyone can ever experience to see!
The man cannot have been so wise,l. America is far from the measure of all things. This band sells a complete world tour within 20 min. That's when you know you're a great band.

Hello America this is a French boy talking to you! first of all I want to tell you that I love watching videos of the American people reacting to the culture of the good old continent which is Europe! 15 years ago this was impossible! culture crossed the Atlantic only in one direction! which agrees with this music by Rammstein! They wrote this song after the painful events of September in New York! is the anxiety-provoking atmosphere that reigned in your beautiful country with your worst President in history who wanted to impose democracy with a mortar in the face on everyone! we all knew in europe that you attacked iraq for oil! not for the other bearded bastard who was hiding in a cave! not even in Iraq for that matter! in short, it's a thing of the past! we all live in america through globalization and it has brought us good things as well as very bad things! luckily we still can't buy an automatic weapon from us! we are grateful to you for being open to the world ever since! This is not a love song...
This song shows the influence of american products in the world. It's not about necessarily useful things. It's more about the negative influence of big companies, like Nike, Lucky Strike Cigarettes, pizza delivery, Santa clause culture in africa, micky mouse in front of Paris/France (disneyland Paris) or the motorcycle lifestyle in asia (Japan).
The USA are so proud of their origin and products. But their country, ... Actually belongs to the natives... The indians...
Basically, most americans are immigrants who ignore their origins... Roots and history...
