- I started my osu! career with this map, so I will share it and all the reasons why I think it's one of the best burst/finger control training maps

As someone who practices speed for fun and now can finger control up to 250 I have my own maps that I used along the time to practice speed and I recommend these:
-satori de pon
-stream practice by BMJ
-Midorigo queen bee
-A Custom diff of the last stream of We Luv Lama
these are the few I remember but I definitely have more... And a few tips I can give as a stamina player are Not rushing the bpm, Practicing the basics, Having always in mind that stamina is related to speed and speed is related to stamina, practicing one will improve the other and viceversa and way too high bpm doesn't help you improve faster, instead it's the contrary I improved a lot more spamming a map of 250 than one of 270 by A LOT.
So yeah sorry for the bible
yeah, playing bpms just above your comfort zone is the best way to improve. Too many people rush it, which could be harmful
late reply but satori de pon! is such a banger, definitely a good map to train speed/finger control
this video could not have come at a better time, just as i noticed my finger control was falling behind because i mostly do aim maps on HR I see a video about exactly my biggest problems (stamina finger control and bursts) and the beatmap is of my favorite artist!
goreshit, sewerslvt, katagiri, and many other breakcore artists are great for finger control!
tfw you're washed up on aim, stamina and finger control at the same time
@@deleted-test that was me yesterday
@@azxriel7172 and that is me today
If you want to go slower there are some mid 4*-low 5* maps, like:
Kobito of the Shining Needle (164 bpm)
Justice Monster (160 bpm)
Unmei no Dark Side (160 bpm)
The nature of dying (171 bpm) (same artist & mapper as retina)
Hype (lapix Remix) (175 bpm) (interestingly this one is rather more into tech than speed)
Relief - SeleP is probably one of the slowest out there too at 120bpm
Story by FELT +DT is helping me a ton, some interesting 240 speed finger control during the diff spikes. Also any felt map with DT will help with this skillset
OG for knowing that map
New World dt brb
this video is a certified hood classic
Mynacro all the way...
both the 6* short versions and the 7* long version are what helped me the most...
went from not being able to stream 160 to comfortably doing 200... now i need to find something faster... hope i find something really good soon
I love that song, maybe consider changing the rate to make it faster?
no finger control or stressful song tho haha
@@zigzypuff did that practicing 220 now :D
wasting my time by mismagius is really good too
it's less aim intensive but has way more repititive bursts compared to burn this moment
wtf teal what r u doing here
yeah this is true when i can't stream more than 200 notes i spam every goreshit map and improve so faster
I love RSI
I can confirm this map too because I remember a few years ago, idke stated this map (goreshit map) is the way of improving your speed
this got recommended to me after i tried playing dt earlier
bruh
it's a sign.
if you cant even pass the top diff you can play the easier diff of this map with hardrock its basically the same thing just slightly easier patterns, its even higer ar and cs so you can train ar 10 reading and precision aim on top of everything else this map trains.
Aim player teaches about finger control / speed. Thanks Zigzy
oi, I 'ave good fingie control, duncha make funna meh laddy
Personally I find oriental's 3 stream practice maps to be really good for practicing speed, it's just triples back to back for minutes at a variety of bpms. At least as a full alt player it really helped my finger control, speed, and stamina.
Thats true, but it's so boring to play (for me at least)
@@chihaya89k yeah, it's definitely not going to be as fun as playing real maps, but it's not so bad that I can't play it a few times a session on the shorter songs
osu.ppy.sh/beatmapsets/89799#osu/244486 this map is great too, literally the same patterns so there's not much needed for aim and it's just finger control lol PLUS it already comes with different BPMs
Hey. Another really good 4 star stream training song is called Extreme Fantasy. The song is reallllly good and the clicks actually follow the song extremely well.
tbh almost every goreshit map is good for fingercontrol/stamina, o'er the flood 220 bpm edit is fun, benzo even if "simpler" is also fun 220
oo yea this one's pretty good!
personally I like super nuko world [guy's extra] as an even more entry level to finger control (and speed with rate edits ofc) without the even note burst complexity as suggested by Willy
It's videos like this that makes me glad that I played vsrgs before switching over to osu. By the time i had started to play osu, I had already gotten past fingerlocking and had built up a good amount of speed where I could stream 210 (my comfort bpm at the time was 180-190) and my finger control had improved significantly thanks to vsrgs.
I never played VSRG's, seems like most people who play them before seem to do MUCH better in osu, maybe I shoulda done that lol
@@zigzypuff I mean its not necessary to play VSRGs to succeed in osu, it just gives you that early boost over other players. I played VSRGs for 3 years before osu yet I still can't stream as fast at the top speed players. I can stream 240 as my maximum speed right now when most speed players can stream 250+.
@@zigzypuff VSRG’s are a great option for most players since it can help with your raw stamina, finger control and speed
it is an insane boost in stamina (possibly speed) since maps early on are much more stamina required than standard’s (it is more required the farther you go)
Vsrg?
@@ylerian8878 Vertical scrolling rhythm games
there are no angels here is also a similar one which is just as good or maybe better than retina, whenever I play it I feel like my speed just improves instantly it’s fr a cheat code
yeah I played that a lot recently at 220bpm, I put it in the description in the "other helpful maps" links
Oh wow this brings back memories, this was probably one of my first if no my first speed map I practiced though in my opinion its giga aim intensive especially the end. Another map I recommend is she runs which is around 10 BPM higher and also requires less aim which may be better or worse. She runs was the map I did after I graduated learning the speed aspect of burn this moment :^)
she runs is insanely stacked with bursts, though it's mainly consistent with 5 notes around the middle section. Still kills my stamina sometimes so yeah it's good
Played it and it my fingers felt like when i was a high 6 digit/ 7 digit and played Tower of Heaven, legit havent felt this way in a LONG LONG time
Ye nobody really talks about speed and finger control being together often. Training one kinda helps the other
the isoganakya maps are good as progress indicators but overall I'd say honesty 5*, and that map with the green hair girl in a blue skirt or smthn bent over a table dk cant remember the name but the 6* diff
Akitoshi's difficulty of From Under Cover?
Linadas diff from under cover maybe
I think i have the quickest improvement like playing 6star maps in 34 days
just warning you that you will hit a wall of skill, not saying you shouldn't keep playing like that! But instead warning you before you get discouraged. Keep playing and having fun king
or queen (I'm inclusive don't cancel me)
@@zigzypuff i do have plenty of time and motivation to improve at this game.
@@zigzypuff and yaa i am playing to much this is my 39th day and i have like 11000 plays😓 now my mother is kinda annoyed by the keyboard click sounds from my room. She says i wouldn't let her sleep by making those weird noises. I should play a less then what i usually.
@@ezoxide 39 days and 11000 plays wow that's wild, yeah maybe taking it a bit easier would be a good idea lol
cool, now i can stream 300 bpm
no WAY
@@zigzypuff what?'
@@roaz31682 that's insane

i managed to pass angelhoney's rog-unlimitation due to this map
Honestly I would play the maps, but goreshit... bruh... this type of music ruptures my brain and i asure you ive not played goreshit song more than 5 times xD
what kind of songs do you like? I can't play II-L songs for the same reason, but I know of some maps like Relief which is similar to Burn This Moment
Actually retina is my favorite map
hey that's me in the first second! :D
o7 the goat speed/stamina player
thanks for the vid but i'm currently working on snapping 😭
Night of knights hr is precision map
Benzo and pure furies is aim map
Waldschrein just streams???
Is this troll or am i trippin
yeah they're all mainly aim
tbf at a certain point, it's all just aim
Since when you're a popular youtuber
Since I'm back in the game baby WOOO
Great video
because maybe is this method on steroids
I played because maybe just for the fact I liked longer songs (insane) and that I also just enjoyed the song (psychopath)
This is cool but I can't practice with it my keyboard is broken after some rag- I mean uh natural reasons
be careful :( no reason to get mad, remember that it's only a game :)
great video bro !!! play moreeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee
As an osumania player moving to std, this is and is not helpful
is and is not? I'm no good at mania so props to you for playing it lol
As a 7 digit, I can deathstream 222.22 bpm
gigachad i love you
jokes on you(or on me) i cant aim that
O'er the flood and There Are No Angels Here might be better options then, I could see Burn This Moment being too aimy lol
play chaoz fantasy lmao
That is quite hard to read for most 6 digits and 5 digits.
Edit: I am talking about the stacked parts.
Let’s gooo zigzy
nie ma fal
basically: play breakcore maps
You know you're decent at speed when this is an aim map
that's when you play there are no angels here at 240bpm and hope for the best
@@zigzypuff wait holy shit i forgot about the map thanks i got a new map to shred
My laptop is too slow to run mcosu or osu lazer :(
osutrainer is a good option then! you create speed up or slow down difficulties through a third party app github.com/FunOrange/osu-trainer
Osu trainer is god
I l o v e making practice edits for maps, I prefer playing on stable than on mcosu or lazer so that's what I use
@@zigzypuff Couldn't imagine trying to grind speed without it
W video
Yeah my finger control is bad as a 7 digits
takes some time, but you'll get there
subbed :D
PLAY MORE BYE
Fingercontrol on burn this moment? where? it's just triples and 5 note bursts. If you can't do that then you might as well quit the game.
Y u so mad bro
@@ramy2mi290 maybe he can't improve on it... Jk I don't know man but he gives off a mad vibe... Yep agreed
your mother is dead
that's fair, there may be a lot better maps to improve, but for entry level finger control it's good. There's more than just 3 and 5 note, there's doubles, quads, and longer especially nearing the end
