  • After kneading your dough, let it rest in the fridge for at least 30 minutes. This relaxes the gluten and makes it easy to roll out the dough without it pulling back together! Chef Carol shows you 3 easy methods of folding the rolled out dough in order to have layers on your chapatis.

Thank you so much Chef Carol. Just finished making my chapos. I followed both the kneading and rolling videos on your channel and these are the best chapos I've ever made. You're there best. 1kg flour gave me 11 chapos 😊

Aki Chef, thank you so much for both videos and the bonus method. Chef, how can one roll out the chapati without thinning out the middle? I struggle with that in my cooking.

Hi! That’s a problem that many have! You have to keep turning the Chapati around and also from side to side while applying flour. Maybe I will do a video on this soon. That’s a good question. Thanks for watching.

MA O I just use kawaida vegetable oil. You can use cowboy or ghee to fry if you want. Wish you lots of fun while cooking.
