    One quick fix: In act 2, my guide shows purple/dark orbs appearing on both a tank and a healer. In reality, the orb will only appear above the healer, while the tank will not have an orb above them. This does not change the mechanic or the strategy, but sorry if it caused any confusion.

    Just wanted to say, this has been my first savage tier since starting the game last fall, and I finally cleared the full tier this week in PF, in no small part thanks to your guides. I have a very hard time learning any other way than through practice normally, but these visuals really helped me enter each fight with confidence I otherwise would have lacked (Especially for the first two fights, when there weren’t many resources out there yet but you had guides up super quickly!) I’ll continue to recommend your channel to anyone I meet who wants to get into savage raiding themselves. Again, thank you so much.

    Your guides are the best honestly. We are on phase 2 now and your guides got me there. Only thing I would like is to see each mechanic in game after you show the diagram. That will help a lot with knowing the pace etc. There are other guides that show that but I don't want to watch other guides lol. Appreciate all your hard work

    • @Khemrikhara
      @Khemrikhara 2 года назад +1

      One of the reasons I love these guides is that they are essentially spoiler-free, so especially for this phase I can go in ""blind"" not knowing what it really looks like, but with knowledge of the mechanics. I do agree that would be helpful, though, but I prefer it without seeing the fight.

    Heya Hector.
    Dropping a comment to let you know that your raid guides are some of the first I turn to and some of the first I share. Anyone I raid with hears me affectionately refer to you as "my boy Hector" when there's a miscommunication or someone doesn't quite understand a mechanic. Thank you so much for taking the time to make these videos and break them down slowly with detailed understandable graphics. I know there's also Joonbob, but he doesn't always cover some of the easier savage fights. Thanks to you, it's been a lot easier to ease my FC members' fear of savage raiding. Keep up the good work!~

    The way you clearly and concisely lay out each roles responsibilities with accurate and clearly readable diagrams is top tier. It honestly craps on any other guide maker.
    Thanks so much and keep it up!

    @13:40 this was the most confusing one for me, tho my squad kept saying Act 2 was the hardest. At first, the person doing callouts said "if you're blue, look at your tower and go 3 over, counterclockwise" and that didn't make sense to me because I'd always end up at a tower with someone else there. But this is so simple.

    • @HectorHectorson

    Heey I know it is a little late perhaps but I recently led my FC trough a mountfarm of p4s and act 2 was difficult for us smoothbrainers so I cooked up a sacrifice strat that made it all easier on the group :) instead of propper spreading we had our tank solo the stackmarker (they dont need invuln for this with propper gearcreep) and for the 2nd stacks we just sacrificed 1 dps and quickrezzed them. that way dps did not have to think either they could just go brrr
    I felt a little villainous muahaha because I did have fun thinking it up

  • @fghfghdfhdh4159
    @fghfghdfhdh4159 2 года назад +2

    does only the wind tether fall off or does the fire as well after a specific time? cause if so wouldnt it be easier to just let the whole group stack and 2 people do towers and completely ignore fire and have more uptime for melees?

    • @HectorHectorson
      @HectorHectorson  2 года назад +3

      That would certainly make the mechanic easier! Unfortunately, aeros are the only tethers that fall off harmlessly. A fire tether that breaks because you ran out of time will do lethal damage.

    • @HectorHectorson
      @HectorHectorson  2 года назад +2

      You can definitely can be in the path without taking damage; my cohealer consistently stands in the path without issue. The only hitbox from the kick is an aoe centered on where the boss lands, slightly larger than the bosses hitbox.

    One thing I saw is that I keep getting clipped in curtain call by the second hit of hells sting. Apparently you have to be dead center of the hit?

    • @HectorHectorson
      @HectorHectorson  2 года назад +3

      Spot on! The safe-spot for the second dodge is deceptively mall, so being due middle of the previous red aoe is safest. It might also be helpful to know that, following my pattern, only the tanks should ever have to break their tether and dodge simultaneously.

    • @HectorHectorson
      @HectorHectorson  2 года назад +3

      Almost exactly the same as phase 1 (48.2K for phase 1, 47.9K for phase 2), but because the phase is longer, you get an extra 2-minute burst window so most find the check to feel more lenient than phase 1.

    • @HectorHectorson

      Yep. There's a little under 5 minutes between each demigod, so warrior is the only tank who will have invuln up for both.

    • @HectorHectorson
      @HectorHectorson  2 года назад +2

      Both work: I think the PF idea is that everyone rotates 1 CW, just that blue go opposite their thorn. It makes sense and is easy to remember, just not what I did when originally doing the fight.
