In the DJ world we live in now in this time And Era it's so much new technology And equipment to choose from. I have a Numark Ns7 Controller, But when it comes to traditional quality turntables Techniques will always be my 1st love.🎶😎
Back in the day I always assumed it came more from the hand on the record, now watching 20 Tex later it’s seems like so much more is the hand on the fader. Definitely wish I still had my turntables and could watch RUclips videos to learn. RUclips and videos altogether has made learning so much easier. Would love to see how much more djs have advanced or still stay stagnant
Record control is just as important as fader control. If you have no record control it won't be funky. The fader is like a note splitter basically that you're drumming with.

i dont mean to be offtopic but does any of you know of a tool to log back into an Instagram account..? I stupidly forgot the login password. I appreciate any assistance you can give me.
@Jordan Ahmed I really appreciate your reply. I got to the site through google and I'm in the hacking process now. Seems to take a while so I will get back to you later when my account password hopefully is recovered.
Just getting back into dj’in myself after 20 years. Watching this helps a lot. You’re nice bro! I simply have 1200s, 2 channel numark mixer. Any beat/battle, scratch you can recommend to practice more. Thanks
I am a young Deejay beginner passionate about music who is doing his little way, I take my comment to start my heartfelt cry so that a person of good will can help me have a turntable (controller) so that I can learn better and advance better in the world of animation deejay that I love so much. Dj Thomas from Senegal thank you for your understanding
Do you have to use a specific recording for made for scratches, or can you just use anything to get that sound? I'd probably use my old charity shop collection, as they're already scratched beyond repair. Engelbert Humperdinck possibly. :D
If you have mark 2s stick with them they're better or get reloop 7000 mark 2s they have more features and perform just as good as technics if not better
@@DJFAmenHeavy hey if your mixing electronic music it matters if you have a accurate pitch fader, so your telling me that pioneer & reloop turntables have a better pitch fader , the Internals of the technics are made in Japan The circuitboard chips ect . They are just put together outside Japan I do know they don’t add the rubber base anymore.
@@DJFAmenHeavy we all know the mk7 are not built like the old models mk2 , mk5 ect , but they do have a great digital pitch fader 🎚 & they sound good compared to pioneer or reloop ,just don’t have them on top of a subwoofer 🔊 😂.
Ok so they are good for scratch how about mixing music i heard the pitch control is digital like the pioneer 1000 that what i heard by other DJ that check them really good i just want to know by a DJ that mix music only not for the scratches i already know i could scratch on them before i buy them i just want to know thanks
I Own technics sl1210 mk 2 since 95. Mk3d since 2007. Also had a pair of numark ttx1 and a pair of Mk7 . Honestly Mk7 and MK2 for scratching I can't tell the difference. For mixing I can but really only barely. It feels slightly different but nothing you won't get used to. I wouldn't even use that to make the choice on. I would choose MK2 MK3 or Mk5 just because of the build quality.they feel heavy and like tanks. Mk7 are much lighter without heavy rubber base and they have a plastic bottom cover. When I turn the music volume up I get feedback off the Mk7 a lot quicker. They don't feel like they are worth the money and I don't think they would last. My MK2 I have serviced every year and last year done a complete strip check and rebuild. Never had a problem with them.

I love turntablist scratching!!! 1983❤
When guys like q bert and chemist do instructional videos they make it look so f easy when just going thru the basics . Guy is smooth

DVS also, no needle skipping and easy cue points for juggling.

Using a pair of MK7s for almost 2 years now, can honestly say that mixing ånd beat matching is a bliss with these..

So you have to find a particular part of the song to scratch or is it just the rhythm of the crossfade?
