- Our family had a fun time at Hilton Phoenix Resort at the Peak which is located in the heart of Phoenix. It has a water park resort called River Ranch. We stayed in a room that had two queen beds and a rollout sofa for the six of us. This is our honest review of our trip.

Only the main pool. The lazy river is not!

Looks no different than it did in the 1980’s. Except for different colors. Needs a refresh. Use to be great. 365. Plus nightly. I'd rather fly to Bangkok or Austria. Far far less expensive food and lodging. Hilton Hotels are not at the level Hilton used to be.
