I said this a Long time ago! All these Car Shows (which I Love them all) are the reason a rust bucket in a field today is worth more now than when it was New 💀

and sadly enough most of them get bought for a crazy amount of money by another person that watches the same auctions and thinking they can flip the vehicle for even more money.

1st and foremost thank you for your service sir. the car you're looking for is a good one. there is a company that sells classic cars for a fair price. the company is Maple Motors, they're out of Tennessee. They have a website Maplemotors.com they are extremely fair on prices. thanks for watching..

I think you nailed it. Deep pockets wins every time. Most of the auction buyers have too much money and its just a game for them to buy up whatever they think will make them more money. And they can drive it around a little and be cool, until it goes to another auction. I could go on and on, but I will not bore you.

@@ervinvoss6474 you're 100% correct. I also think that a lot of cars get shipped overseas. There are still some decent deals out there but they are far and few between. I just posted a video with some marketplace project finds that are fairly priced. Thanks for watching

Find something you like, and enjoy it on "your" budget! Doesn't have to be a #1 car to enjoy it. Wrenching on your own stuff is rewarding, as long as it's not your primary transportation. For me anyway.

Totally agree! I have owned Corvettes, Z/28's, Trans Am's, GTO's, Regal T Types, and other muscle cars over the years. I cannot begin to afford any of them today. Went to the Trans Am nationals a few months ago (previously owned a total of 5 T/A's over the years) and whined about their affordability. Guy told me you could "probably" buy a not so great shape one for $ 50 thou. No thanks, I'll stick with my paid off Camry. Reminds me of the ads on tv for "we'll buy your house". They will buy it for pennies, slap some paint and cheap flooring and sell it for $ 50,000 profit. Driving the housing beyond the average persons reach. Welcome to 2025.

@@gw3598 💯 percent correct. To be fair you can still find some decent deals but they are far and few between. Definitely not like you could. I actually just did a video about potential projects of marketplace. Of course also did a WTF marketplace video as well. Hey thanks for watching..

I still have my 74 Charger 400 magnum 727/auto for 30 yrs now as my 1st car I bought for $1,500 bucks. Took me alot of overtime working at burger King to afford that. I came home with it with $10 bucks to spare for gas. After that I was broke and had to wait another 2 weeks. Like these auction whores those rich snobs screwed the hobby. They don't work or drive these cars on weekends like us hard workers do. It took me weekends to enjoy my car and build it. I once saw an ad for a 73 charger rusted out she'll on fb marketplace and they were asking $1,500 and it wasn't even a roller and I told them I wouldn't pay a dime to park that garbage in my own backyard.
