I replaced my iPad Pro with the Tab S8 Ultra maybe a year ago. It's my main device for work and play. Could not agree more. It's a very special piece of tech!
Thank you!! Yes, I've been testing the ipados17 and it does look good to be fair. Connecting the ipad to a monitor its also a lot friendlier now too. The Tab S8 Ultra has been great from day 1 though, amazing value!

I even got a SIM card in it😲. You said no micro SD..🤔 I've got a 512gig micro sd card installed. Also, yesterday I was taking my DJi mini 3 pro out for a walk, and when we got back home I put the DJi's micro SD into the Tab . Xcellent!! Don't think that I'll get the upcoming Tab 9 Ultra, right🤔✌️?!?
Android has 900,000 more apps than Apple (2.8 million to 1.9 million) Android has tens of thousands of more free apps than Apple. And lets not forgot about: 1. microSD slots 2. free and better pen 3. far superior file management system 4. Dex 5. better price to memory ratio 6. better price to storage ratio 7. customizability 8. multiple windows End of Story.
The S8 Plus, which i have, has a crappy keyboard cover. Theres no backlit keys, and feels cheaper than the Ultra's keyboard cover. The trackpad seems much better on the Ultra's cover as well. Theres really no great keyboard case for the plus.

opa! Nunca tentei jogar esses jogos com o controle, mas eu uso o aplicativo XBox Cloud, e todos os jogos que tem la functionam. Mas esse servico tem uma inscricao adicional tambem, infelizmente... (desculpe a falta de pontuacao, o teclado aqui ta ruim 🤣)

I completely agree. I've been through a few iPads (Air 3,Air 5, Mini 6, Pro 12.9) and I always and up selling them because I get frustrated at the fact that they have always felt like just an iPhone with a bigger screen; very limited. The S8 Ultra has been the first tablet that has kept me happy, and I have absolutely no intentions of getting rid of it anytime soon. Best tablet I've ever had 🤩
I own a Samsung Galaxy S8 Ultra and a 12.9" M1 iPad Pro. I'm a longtime Windows and Android user, so the S8 Ultra works great with my past preferences. I use the S8 Ultra for all of my business needs. Multitasking and DEX is GREAT on the S8 Ultra! I teach using PowerPoint. The S8 Ultra is GREAT to use for that purpose. I also enjoy digital illustration. The S8 Ultra is great with Clip Studio Paint. The 16:9 aspect ratio works great there. The M1 iPad Pro is great for my other illustration apps, which aren't available on Android (Procreate, Affinity Designer, Affinity Photo, Affinity Publisher and ArtStudio Pro).
The S8 is a beast and it is designed in such away that for a majority of users it can easily replace a laptop. Dex has evolved and become far more refined over the years. It is such an impressive device 👍
@AlexGTech honestly samsung needs to refresh their tab more and more to compete with iPads rather than doing it every 18 months, they can improve the display and make their device even slimmer like their is a 1mm gap between the display and the internal it's not sealed which makes it reflexive and I'm sure when u use the spen u sometimes feel the glass pressing down a bit. It ends up feeling like using a plastic LCD display when in reality is a glass and AMOLED, they could improve their keyboard hinge, the input delay while typing, they can add 2 usb port, 3usb a port, hdmi and headphone jack, thunderbolt USB c port, samsung should team up with the developer of Luma fusion and bring it to their tablet and since they have dex maybe they should add a dex menu to their galaxy store and bring apps like DaVinci resolve to dex or these pro apps iPads have to dex. Samsung tablets can become iPad killer if they can improve these stuff also 1 stuff I don't like is that they weren't know for still having a notch they never went that route with their phone but they copied the idea on their tablet and I would've preferred a bad in display camera over a notch since cameras are only used to attend live meeting and don't matter on tablets so I really don't see the point if improving cameras on their tablets.
@@leetronix so basically the point I stated was they need to shift to yearly releases instead of 18 months, the other point I made was they could improve the display because it's very reflexive and they is a 1mm grap so it's it's not tightly sealed so instead of giving you black effect under sunlight it gives blue effect when display is turned of making it look like an LCD display, the other point I made was they could improve the hinges of keyboard case and well as the magnet for stronger connections, remove the input delay when typing fast and could add usb a 3+ 2 usb c+ hdmi+ headphone jack to make it more of a laptop alternative, add thunderbolt usb port which gives us the best transfer speed like the iPad, one other thing that bugs me is the notch and I'd much prefer a not so good web cam over the notch that samsung was never known for they never brought it to their phone so I don't know why they choose to copy mac books notch, because on a tablet cameras mean nothing and web cam is just used for meetings and plus it's possible to make the in display camera completely invisible since the display is less than 400ppi and I kinda wish they went with the tridtional 16x9 aspect ratio. Samsung dex is a powerful feature that makes this tablet an iPad killer but their are few things they can add, like pro creativity and in the galaxy store introduce a samsung dex menu and allow us to install samsung dex exclusive apps, like for example DaVinci resolve which is coming to iPad add that to samsung dex, bring back Linux to dex or give us the ability to install the desktop version of office 365 apps to dex from galaxy store as well as desktop version of chrome browsers, it's these little things they can do to make it a laptop replacement for most average laptop user, for example Google Chrome extension or stuffs like using excel you don't get the full version, I feel like Samsung should stop making their tridtional laptops, like they could focus on gaming laptop and make samsung dex a close enough replacement for productivity users who don't need the best of the best. Instead of blaming Google they could implement this to galaxy store.

Hey Alex, Great channel! As far as Photoshop/Photo Editing goes, one of the GREATEST features of the Tab S8 Ultra that no one talks about is the 'Second Screen' feature. SuperDisplay a $10 app works really great. The Tab S8 Ultra has basically replaced my Wacom Cintiq as my main Photoshop editing device. It's higher resolution, wireless, lighter, portable, and the S-Pen might be even better... Samsung's built-in 'Second Screen' works OK, but it used to work much better than it does now, I don't know what happened, but hopefully they will update it to work as good as SuperDisplay does. Plus, your files stay resident on your workstation and you don't have to copy files back and forth. Plus, the device is awesome all on its own... Literally blown away by how great it is! The S-Pen is fantastic and FREE in the box. You don't need to add a paper-like screen protector ($40) in addition to the $130 you'll pay extra for the Apple Pencil... I'm a 30+ year Professional Graphic Artist. When some say that there aren't Professional Visual Arts apps on android it's just really incorrect, because I use them everyday. Autodesk Sketchbook, Infinite Painter, Concepts, Krita are just a few of the apps available on the Google Play store... There are many more... Are there a few apps available on iPad that aren't on the Play store? Yes, of course, but a good carpenter never blames his tools, and with expertise and talent you can do anything and everything on android apps that you can do on iOS apps - NO DOUBT. If you're already entrenched in the Apple 'eco-system'... Then pay the extra $500 to $1500... But guess what, the Tab S8 Ultra supports HDR10+ and has a 120Hz refresh rate, so your covered.
I bought an iPad Pro a while back in order to have 1 device to rule them all. Boy was I wrong ! The iPad pro 12.9 sounded like the best device for me, at least on paper, but in reality it ended up being a dull device: way too many cumbersome gestures for simple things, plugging it to an external monitor was weird, managing files was a chore… in the end, my iPad Pro was just a youtube player… an expensive youtube player. Then I got a Tab S8 Ultra. Funny enough, everyone says « it’s huge » well, to me, it’s not. My Tab S8 Ultra is actually almost the same size than my 12.9 iPad Pro. However, contrary to the iPad Pro, I can finally setup the tablet the way I WANT which means : I want a dock ? I can have it. I want to de-clutter my desktop ? I can. I want to re-arrange my app drawer ? I can. I want to run multiple instances of 1 app ? I can. I want active corners ? I can. I want to extend my storage ? I can. I want dual display (tablet on one side, Dex on external display) ? I can. Using Dex Mode for when I need more flexibility is a breeze ! Once done with my tasks at my desk, I can move back to tablet mode. My current usage has evolved over the years. I mostly use my tablet as a mobile device 70% of the time and for the 30% of the time that I need a desktop for light usage (especially dealing with mails, messages and photos), well Dex is here to take care of that. No need for an « intermediary » device in between, I can now rely on one device only. The main difference for me is that the screen real estate is actually put to good use which wasn’t the case with the iPad Pro (and stage manager still hasn’t convinced me one bit). In the end, I now have a tablet that I can taylor to my needs and preferences while the other forces you to use it the Apple way… and that does not work for me. The iPad Pro might still be the best tablet (and tablet only) but it’s not the best multitasker device.
🇧🇷 Now is the right time to make a wishlist video for the Tab S9 Ultra. My wish is for a better keyboard. My wife's iPad Pro magic keyboard is incredible, and mine just does not compare.
I own both, and use them for different tasks. My Ultra is my laptop in practice, and my iPad Pro is my note taker / quick reference for meetings and functions. They both have their uses, but thanks' to Dex, the iPad can't compare in that way.
But at the end of the day both tablets use the same apps and perform at no disadvantage They both use the same boring mobile apps and perform at the same level Everyone commenting saying one is better then the other are just silly
@@oo0024 I guess it comes down to preference. I can do mostly the same things on my phone, but form factor plays a role. I suppose that's part of my point above. For me, the Ultra's form factor combined with Dex mode comes together in such a way that it's easier to replace my much heavier/bulkier laptop. In my position, I also need something smaller than a laptop at times where I can take notes, check calendar(s), scan emails, and review and sign docs. For that, the iPad works perfectly (11inch). For me, they are both equally good, but for different purposes. Of course, use cases and opinions will vary.

I have an S8+ (because it has 5G in it). I was never happy with my iPad pro (it had a good display, but the S8+ blows it away) and am simply in love with my S8+. It's a little smaller than the Ultra, but the 5G makes it worthwhile. My understanding is that they're putting 5G in all versions of the S9, so I hope they keep doing that for the S10 series, because the S8+ is too perfect to trade in. I have the Samsung keyboard case, which works well. Also, I use a custom launcher that makes the S8+ look a lot like Windows 10 (it's called WinX launcher), so it feels like a real computer when I'm using it. Highly recommended!
That zhou guanyu silverstone crash though! A Question, can a windows laptop reliably with low latency (maybe via a wire) use this as a second display? Could be an awesome thing if spen could be used in blender and other apps without the heavy penalty that over wifi suffers (like side car). There are a few apps out there (Duet display and others); is it something you would consider looking into if not already have? Thanks for your timer reading this.

I have the Lululook stand because you reviewed it a while back. It is high quality, and I'm not worried about scratching my S8 Ultra. Do you find that it's difficult to take the tablet off the stand due to strength of magnets and jumbo design? Thanks for the review.

Tab S8 is a total catch. This has made my life so easy that I don't anything else but just this in my bag to get through my day in uni as well as at work. Really a champ when it comes to performance. Half of my day is made easier and more productive with S8. Love how it comes with all the great features and is better than iPad in my opinion. Battery is huge and lasts me a whole day. Although ik this is strong enough I still got a screen and body protection film from gadgetshieldz to avoid scratches and got a spigen tough armor case. Good to go for my chaotic life.

As an M2 iPad Pro 12.9in user when will Samsung release a newer version? I’m still keeping my iPad but I’m tempted in trying the Ultra Samsung tablet. I would buy the S8 Ultra but its almost 2 years old. If Samsung releases the S9 Ultra or whatever they are naming the new variation of this tablet. I will definitely be buying it to try it out even as an Apple Fanboy. This is probably the only android tablet I’d be willing to buy even if the pixel tablet or One-plus pad are in the market. Samsung did a great job with this tablet I can’t wait to see what they do with the next generation Ultra.
@lgmarquez5469 the Snapdragon 8 gen 1 is already keeping up with the iPads, I can only imagine how Samsung is going to improve the entire functionality with the 8 gen 2! The 8 gen 2 is a beast is my S23U! Can't wait to swap it for the new S9U!!! You totes should consider trying the S9U when it comes out, worst case, you can send it back if you feel you don't like it!

Its still has the SD card which Apple has NEVER done on an Ipad or even an Iphone. Samsung gives you everything. Apple wants control and gives you crumbs so you keep buying.

I've had both Samsung and Apple tablets over the years. Have to agree with the limitations with iPads, and as a side note for me iPads dont come with GPS unless you spec the LTE model. Doesnt affect most people, but for myself who has used a tablet for day hikes and navigation in a car/van, thats annoying. Being able to use my S8 with an external display like a normal computer sealed the deal for me
so one question that i still couldnt find an answer to is about the share screen ability... i wanna use it with my windows pc together but i wanna keep using lan on my pc, but from what i know the pc has to be conected by wifi only for it to work.... is that true ? would be truly awsome if you could tell me bout that ... currently wanting to buy the s9 ultra and this is kind of a deal breaker for me
As a total samsung fan I have the samsung 8 + , it's just brilliant it can be weeks before I turn on my laptop on 😊, samsung is my eco system with watch and phone
Great video as always. I have an Ipad air and I recently bought an s23 ultra and a garmin fenix. I use my tablet only for fun, playing games and watching movies or videos on you tube. Do you think if I get a samsung tablet will I be more inclined to use it for productivity purposes?
YES! I jlnever thought I would use a tablet for work and now I have to have my Tab S8 Ultra with me at all times! I'm also on call and my S8U can run the full version of our dental software from home whereas my boss's M2 iPad can't! He always gets so jealous when he sees me working from my tab and running 3 other apps together while his iPad can barely handle 2 and can't access patient info!
As much as i get the only difference is screen size :D Stage manager and multi tasking is there for more than a year on ipad. pen experience is related to taste. ipad and iphone pairing is queit unbelievable and continoutiy functionality(calling and ....) has been there for years. lot's of games are better optimized for ipados and ios than android. task bar was there on ipad forever there are tons of accessories for apple devices. I think it's that s23 ultra change that has impacted your experience 😂
I'm not too sure about that, to be honest, because I've tried stage manager, and it hasn't been really useful... on iPad OS 17 it's much better, though!

Im with you on this. I just switched sides from android to Apple and don’t miss a thing. My workflow even improved in general because of the integrations.
I own both devices and unfortunately have to say that the ipad M2 runs significantly smoother than the s8 ultra. I keep getting micro stutters on the S8 Ultra. I may also have a Monday device, but the ipad runs much more smoothly. Also, not all apps on Samsung are optimized. facebook is only possible upright. i like the s8 ultra, but in terms of performance, it's nowhere near as good as the ipad. is your ultra smooth?
To be honest. In my book it doesn’t really matter which Tablet you use. They all do the same. I do use my iPad Pro for work and taking a lot of notes. I did this with my old android tablet to. So I would say it comes down to preference tbh. Both have good things going for them. Biggest problem I see on the android side, and donˋt get me wrong I used android for years on end starting from the Samsung Omnia 2, that Apple just has the upper hand in integrations, ecosystem and support. Android came a long way but the pixel 6 showed me that I should test the other side since I had so many bugs with it and the one from my girlfriend just broke out of the blue without having any damage done to it. And you know what? I kinda like the quality and everything else that comes with the high price. Since the tab s8 ultra also costs about a 1000 bucks that argument doesn’t really count in my book anymore. Android has become atleast as expensive as Apple in the last few years. Just a heads up I migrated just about half a year now and am still amazed by all the seamless integrations. I hated Apple before, now I kinda love it.
I don’t know about tab S8 Ultra but I never had a good experience with samsung tabs my experience was that bad that I don’t ever think buying one again

It ends up feeling like using a plastic LCD display when in reality is a glass and AMOLED, they could improve their keyboard hinge, the input delay while typing, they can add 2 usb port, 3usb a port, hdmi and headphone jack, thunderbolt USB c port, samsung should team up with the developer of Luma fusion and bring it to their tablet and since they have dex maybe they should add a dex menu to their galaxy store and bring apps like DaVinci resolve to dex or these pro apps iPads have to dex. Samsung tablets can become iPad killer if they can improve these stuff also 1 stuff I don't like is that they weren't know for still having a notch they never went that route with their phone but they copied the idea on their tablet and I would've preferred a bad in display camera over a notch since cameras are only used to attend live meeting and don't matter on tablets so I really don't see the point if improving cameras on their tablets.

@@leetronix so basically the point I stated was they need to shift to yearly releases instead of 18 months, the other point I made was they could improve the display because it's very reflexive and they is a 1mm grap so it's it's not tightly sealed so instead of giving you black effect under sunlight it gives blue effect when display is turned of making it look like an LCD display, the other point I made was they could improve the hinges of keyboard case and well as the magnet for stronger connections, remove the input delay when typing fast and could add usb a 3+ 2 usb c+ hdmi+ headphone jack to make it more of a laptop alternative, add thunderbolt usb port which gives us the best transfer speed like the iPad, one other thing that bugs me is the notch and I'd much prefer a not so good web cam over the notch that samsung was never known for they never brought it to their phone so I don't know why they choose to copy mac books notch, because on a tablet cameras mean nothing and web cam is just used for meetings and plus it's possible to make the in display camera completely invisible since the display is less than 400ppi and I kinda wish they went with the tridtional 16x9 aspect ratio.
Samsung dex is a powerful feature that makes this tablet an iPad killer but their are few things they can add, like pro creativity and in the galaxy store introduce a samsung dex menu and allow us to install samsung dex exclusive apps, like for example DaVinci resolve which is coming to iPad add that to samsung dex, bring back Linux to dex or give us the ability to install the desktop version of office 365 apps to dex from galaxy store as well as desktop version of chrome browsers, it's these little things they can do to make it a laptop replacement for most average laptop user, for example Google Chrome extension or stuffs like using excel you don't get the full version, I feel like Samsung should stop making their tridtional laptops, like they could focus on gaming laptop and make samsung dex a close enough replacement for productivity users who don't need the best of the best. Instead of blaming Google they could implement this to galaxy store.

As far as Photoshop/Photo Editing goes, one of the GREATEST features of the Tab S8 Ultra that no one talks about is the 'Second Screen' feature. SuperDisplay a $10 app works really great. The Tab S8 Ultra has basically replaced my Wacom Cintiq as my main Photoshop editing device. It's higher resolution, wireless, lighter, portable, and the S-Pen might be even better... Samsung's built-in 'Second Screen' works OK, but it used to work much better than it does now, I don't know what happened, but hopefully they will update it to work as good as SuperDisplay does. Plus, your files stay resident on your workstation and you don't have to copy files back and forth.
Plus, the device is awesome all on its own... Literally blown away by how great it is!
The S-Pen is fantastic and FREE in the box. You don't need to add a paper-like screen protector ($40) in addition to the $130 you'll pay extra for the Apple Pencil...
I'm a 30+ year Professional Graphic Artist. When some say that there aren't Professional Visual Arts apps on android it's just really incorrect, because I use them everyday. Autodesk Sketchbook, Infinite Painter, Concepts, Krita are just a few of the apps available on the Google Play store... There are many more... Are there a few apps available on iPad that aren't on the Play store? Yes, of course, but a good carpenter never blames his tools, and with expertise and talent you can do anything and everything on android apps that you can do on iOS apps - NO DOUBT.
If you're already entrenched in the Apple 'eco-system'... Then pay the extra $500 to $1500... But guess what, the Tab S8 Ultra supports HDR10+ and has a 120Hz refresh rate, so your covered.
I bought an iPad Pro a while back in order to have 1 device to rule them all. Boy was I wrong ! The iPad pro 12.9 sounded like the best device for me, at least on paper, but in reality it ended up being a dull device: way too many cumbersome gestures for simple things, plugging it to an external monitor was weird, managing files was a chore… in the end, my iPad Pro was just a youtube player… an expensive youtube player.
Then I got a Tab S8 Ultra. Funny enough, everyone says « it’s huge » well, to me, it’s not. My Tab S8 Ultra is actually almost the same size than my 12.9 iPad Pro. However, contrary to the iPad Pro, I can finally setup the tablet the way I WANT which means : I want a dock ? I can have it. I want to de-clutter my desktop ? I can. I want to re-arrange my app drawer ? I can. I want to run multiple instances of 1 app ? I can. I want active corners ? I can. I want to extend my storage ? I can. I want dual display (tablet on one side, Dex on external display) ? I can. Using Dex Mode for when I need more flexibility is a breeze ! Once done with my tasks at my desk, I can move back to tablet mode. My current usage has evolved over the years. I mostly use my tablet as a mobile device 70% of the time and for the 30% of the time that I need a desktop for light usage (especially dealing with mails, messages and photos), well Dex is here to take care of that. No need for an « intermediary » device in between, I can now rely on one device only.
The main difference for me is that the screen real estate is actually put to good use which wasn’t the case with the iPad Pro (and stage manager still hasn’t convinced me one bit). In the end, I now have a tablet that I can taylor to my needs and preferences while the other forces you to use it the Apple way… and that does not work for me.
The iPad Pro might still be the best tablet (and tablet only) but it’s not the best multitasker device.
I don’t care what’s better as long as my iPad Pro can perform at the highest level with the apps and games that I like then that’s all I want
🇧🇷 Now is the right time to make a wishlist video for the Tab S9 Ultra. My wish is for a better keyboard. My wife's iPad Pro magic keyboard is incredible, and mine just does not compare.
I own both, and use them for different tasks. My Ultra is my laptop in practice, and my iPad Pro is my note taker / quick reference for meetings and functions. They both have their uses, but thanks' to Dex, the iPad can't compare in that way.
But at the end of the day both tablets use the same apps and perform at no disadvantage

@@oo0024 I guess it comes down to preference. I can do mostly the same things on my phone, but form factor plays a role. I suppose that's part of my point above. For me, the Ultra's form factor combined with Dex mode comes together in such a way that it's easier to replace my much heavier/bulkier laptop. In my position, I also need something smaller than a laptop at times where I can take notes, check calendar(s), scan emails, and review and sign docs. For that, the iPad works perfectly (11inch). For me, they are both equally good, but for different purposes. Of course, use cases and opinions will vary.

I have an S8+ (because it has 5G in it). I was never happy with my iPad pro (it had a good display, but the S8+ blows it away) and am simply in love with my S8+. It's a little smaller than the Ultra, but the 5G makes it worthwhile. My understanding is that they're putting 5G in all versions of the S9, so I hope they keep doing that for the S10 series, because the S8+ is too perfect to trade in. I have the Samsung keyboard case, which works well. Also, I use a custom launcher that makes the S8+ look a lot like Windows 10 (it's called WinX launcher), so it feels like a real computer when I'm using it. Highly recommended!

A Question, can a windows laptop reliably with low latency (maybe via a wire) use this as a second display? Could be an awesome thing if spen could be used in blender and other apps without the heavy penalty that over wifi suffers (like side car). There are a few apps out there (Duet display and others); is it something you would consider looking into if not already have? Thanks for your timer reading this.

I have the Lululook stand because you reviewed it a while back. It is high quality, and I'm not worried about scratching my S8 Ultra. Do you find that it's difficult to take the tablet off the stand due to strength of magnets and jumbo design? Thanks for the review.

Tab S8 is a total catch. This has made my life so easy that I don't anything else but just this in my bag to get through my day in uni as well as at work. Really a champ when it comes to performance. Half of my day is made easier and more productive with S8. Love how it comes with all the great features and is better than iPad in my opinion. Battery is huge and lasts me a whole day. Although ik this is strong enough I still got a screen and body protection film from gadgetshieldz to avoid scratches and got a spigen tough armor case. Good to go for my chaotic life.

As an M2 iPad Pro 12.9in user when will Samsung release a newer version? I’m still keeping my iPad but I’m tempted in trying the Ultra Samsung tablet. I would buy the S8 Ultra but its almost 2 years old. If Samsung releases the S9 Ultra or whatever they are naming the new variation of this tablet. I will definitely be buying it to try it out even as an Apple Fanboy. This is probably the only android tablet I’d be willing to buy even if the pixel tablet or One-plus pad are in the market. Samsung did a great job with this tablet I can’t wait to see what they do with the next generation Ultra.
In 3 days they'll announce the s9 ultra tablet.

I've had both Samsung and Apple tablets over the years.
Have to agree with the limitations with iPads, and as a side note for me iPads dont come with GPS unless you spec the LTE model. Doesnt affect most people, but for myself who has used a tablet for day hikes and navigation in a car/van, thats annoying.
Being able to use my S8 with an external display like a normal computer sealed the deal for me

Great video as always. I have an Ipad air and I recently bought an s23 ultra and a garmin fenix. I use my tablet only for fun, playing games and watching movies or videos on you tube. Do you think if I get a samsung tablet will I be more inclined to use it for productivity purposes?
YES! I jlnever thought I would use a tablet for work and now I have to have my Tab S8 Ultra with me at all times! I'm also on call and my S8U can run the full version of our dental software from home whereas my boss's M2 iPad can't! He always gets so jealous when he sees me working from my tab and running 3 other apps together while his iPad can barely handle 2 and can't access patient info!

Stage manager and multi tasking is there for more than a year on ipad.
pen experience is related to taste.
ipad and iphone pairing is queit unbelievable and continoutiy functionality(calling and ....) has been there for years.
lot's of games are better optimized for ipados and ios than android.

Im with you on this. I just switched sides from android to Apple and don’t miss a thing. My workflow even improved in general because of the integrations.
Stage manager is so so.
Dex is way way way better than Stage manager, and also you can't even download apk apps in any existing apple devices
I own both devices and unfortunately have to say that the ipad M2 runs significantly smoother than the s8 ultra. I keep getting micro stutters on the S8 Ultra. I may also have a Monday device, but the ipad runs much more smoothly. Also, not all apps on Samsung are optimized. facebook is only possible upright.
i like the s8 ultra, but in terms of performance, it's nowhere near as good as the ipad.

To be honest. In my book it doesn’t really matter which Tablet you use. They all do the same. I do use my iPad Pro for work and taking a lot of notes. I did this with my old android tablet to. So I would say it comes down to preference tbh. Both have good things going for them.
Biggest problem I see on the android side, and donˋt get me wrong I used android for years on end starting from the Samsung Omnia 2, that Apple just has the upper hand in integrations, ecosystem and support. Android came a long way but the pixel 6 showed me that I should test the other side since I had so many bugs with it and the one from my girlfriend just broke out of the blue without having any damage done to it.
And you know what? I kinda like the quality and everything else that comes with the high price. Since the tab s8 ultra also costs about a 1000 bucks that argument doesn’t really count in my book anymore. Android has become atleast as expensive as Apple in the last few years.
Just a heads up I migrated just about half a year now and am still amazed by all the seamless integrations. I hated Apple before, now I kinda love it.
