- This week there will be a giveaway with the result announced in next weeks video. I'll also be using and reviewing the Weishi budget razor. I'm surprised by how good a shave the Weishi razor gives; I really enjoyed using it. I'll be using an excellent but inexpensive synthetic brush and some Tcheon Fung Sing (TFS) shaving soap.

I had this razor for 2 years. Got it free from my job for being safe. I was scared to use it until last week. It shaves me so smooth that I threw out my 5 and 3 blade razors. I love it. No in grown hairs, bumps, irritation, or nothing.
Hey, that's fantastic! You are a convert now 😃 What I like about safety razor's is the opportunity to try different blades in the razor, as they are not all the same. Feather and Nacet blades are very sharp, some other blades are not so sharp but might be a bit smoother. Enjoy your journey and thanks for getting in touch. All the best.

An enjoyable video to watch. I'e heard good things about this Razor. The only Chinese Razor I have is a Vikings Blade Chieftain Jr., while I enjoy my vintage Gillette Razors, the little Vikings Blade Chieftain Jr. is a very well made chrome-plated solid brass razor. It's a very mild razor, but yet efficient. Works especially well with my Personna Comfort Coated Blue (USA) and Astra Platinum (Green Box) blades.

Thank you. I passed mine on, in a giveaway but it was a very nice razor to shave with. I have yet to try any Vikings Blade razors, they all look very sturdy and well made.
Is the long handle more efficient than the the regular size? Also I'd recommend the supermax blue diamond blades. I tried the other supermax blades for me (ymmv) they were subpar but the blue diamond was very smooth and sharp.
My short handle Weishi was coated in black whereas my long handle wasn't coated. I wondered if it was this that made the difference. For me, the short handle was a little milder but still a good shave.
I have both the long handled Weishi and the short one. For me, I find the long handled Weishi a bit more aggressive, which is a shame because the mildness of the short 9306 is what attracted me to it in the first place.
When I had the long handled Weishi, I was surprised at how aggressive it was, as I was expecting something entirely milder. I can only think that the people who's reviews I read had a short handled version.
@@FriendshipShaving That might be, but I have also noticed that those who prefer aggressive razors seem to be a very outspoken crowd and manufactures seem to notice them. Personally I prefer mild razors as shaving should be a pleasant and relaxing "ritual" and I find that in mild razor. BTW love your channel and I'm always on the lookout for your latest videos. Great job!

I have a super speed Gillette, hard to admit I prefer the modern and cheap weishi.

Man I love Baili Razors ! Of course this Weishi is a Baili 179 Re-branded. I absolutely need low aggressive razors for my skin. I just ordered this Razor From Aliexpress.com for $13.80 US. under the model Baili BD 251L and it has blades a stand and nice box you could take it traveling in. Don't be fooled these razors are inexpensive but far from cheap ! Nice Job ! Kit

Throw away your brush your fancy soaps and creams etc. buy yourself a professional barbershop hot and I mean hot lather machine and get the job done quick! Slap on some aftershave! You dappers with your special brushes and your special soaps remind me of a bunch of old ladies putting on their make up! Better yet I have a side-by-side comparison of the two methods and we’ll see what is better! Hah
