How hot do those gigabyte 3060Ti's run in the open-air frame, I have mine on a riserless board and even with new pads, paste and 3000rpm fans on them, they still run pretty hot. I don't like the blow through design on the backplate that much and am consider an open-air frame again.
I've got a 3060ti gaming gigabyte that I padded and thermal pasted and it runs hot too. Can't figure it out. I have a 3070 gaming that is better but not by much.
@@GMZombieMiner I think it might be the plastic backplate. Does not help with thermal transfer, instead restrict airflow around the gpu but it's manufactured in such a way that you can't really go without it. I have ordered shim stock and will be swapping thermal pads to copper on these and the 3070/3070ti's. Did this on 5700's which made a big difference.
