I do watch the videos thank you very much! I may just fast forward a little through the math part 😂 cool project can’t wait to try out the single speed myself.
So that was my original plan! But then I started watching videos and I ran across the dirtwire TV guy and he had that really simple to use formula and using the formula I did a 34 tooth chainwheel in a 17 tooth sprocket and it was right on the money we didn't even have to change it!
Appreciate the shout out! 😊
You and Charlie are my go to guys for info!
Single speed changes your riding style, i love it!
I wish i could have ft it to ride it, but, what they said matched everything I heard about riding a single speed!
This was a fun little episode! I've always liked the idea of single speed.
Thanks, glad you enjoyed it!

I cant wait for y to try it either! Did you see your picture at the very end?
Awesome idea! Im glad you showed the math for it
Thanks, Berserker! I was surprised myself how much the wheel size effected the gearing when you did the math!
I have some great 29ers, but find myself on my 2.5/26 SS 50% of the time. Its fun, a challenge, and alwayd ready
Yeah, my Polygon mullet has a 26" rear wheel, they may not be popular these days but 26" is still around!
You are fast, nice control too. That trail looked quite flat.
But with the steep climbs where I live it's not for me.
Yeah, that was about the perfect trail for a single speed set up! I did do that last run pretty fast, but it almost killed me!
Love the intro !! Where’s Larry?
Larry's the guy with the suit! Kind of an alter ego thing! The other guy's Mullet man another alter ego!
Really, like how you break down the math, I usually just throw it on and see how it goes..

Also a full conversation kit for $20ish that's cool
AliExpress!
@@theshedMTB makes sense
I wonder if since I run an oval if it changes the math much????
I dont think so because a 34 oval is smaller on one side and larger on the other- one rotation should equal the same as a round 34
Whoops! Gotta go! 🤣🤣🤣
Lame attempt at being funny!
@@theshedMTB I mean.... I chuckled 🤣🤣🤣
