  • Topic of today is Finno-Ugric Shamanism but I'm using the Mythologia Fennica Tarot deck to illustrate the "story".
My first experiences on the other Shamanistic course:

It is interesting how so many separate cultures arrived at similar beliefs without knowing of each other! This was so helpful, I knew almost nothing about Finno-Ugric Shamanism, I'm not sure I will ever be able to pronounce the name... but it was nice hear you say them! 😂 The course sounds, lovely, I can't wait to see and hear what's next for you on your path 💚💚

Thank you for this fascinating insight. I'd love to dive into this mythology and folklore, I've always loved Finland, the language and culture.

Thanks for sharing. I didn't even know there was this other type of shamanism in Finland. I agree that for most people the knowledge of the 3 (or sometimes 4) worlds and an ability to access them when desired is enough. I think it's a shame it's not more general knowledge. But the deeper stuff like soul retrieval, healings, etc, is going deeper than most people would care to go or need to go. I still don't know how far I'll go with it. It does feel quite natural and intrinsic to me though so I'll probably continue to explore.

So true. And also I can always return to the topic later on if needed. But as everything it would need effort and commitment. And everyones time is limited and that’s why it feels nice to myself to kinda free up some space for other studies now for a change.

Ohhh this video is such a treat!! I will need to rewatch it a few times to truly understand the Finnish context of these symbols... I found my own way of connecting with this deck, it gives me very profound messages. Listening to you talk about these cards, however, I feel that even though our cultures are so distant from each other, I see a common knowledge, a common thread... all esoteric wisdom comes from the same shapeless source, only expressed in different forms.... and I feel that when you talk about that shaman (one of my favorite cards of this deck btw) and I talk about the shamans over here, we are really talking about the same principle and this is how I get to connect with these cards, so different and so not different, lol. About your experience with the drums, I think you know what I think by now 😉 Thank you, super awesome video!

It truly is the same source. And don’t worry if my words made no sense on the context of the tarot cards...cause they were just my way of illustrating the storyline in the shamanistic practise 😅😅😅
I truly think that when you go into Antero Vipunen’s mouth from Brasil and me from here that we can meet in the exact same place and all the lost knowledge of previous generations lies there. Universal as you said.
