Loved when Brandon made the Lost reference. When you said you were going to Sawyer glacier I asked Cara if the other one was Jack glacier We are planning on this excursion as well. I might have to bring my own tonic 😅

That's a great question and a tough one! If you're doing the 3/3:30 p.m. glacier explorer excursion, you'll definitely have time. If you're doing the earlier one, that might be a very close time for both brunch and an excursion. If you're not planning on the glacier explorer excursion and just want to see all the amazing sights while on the Wonder, 10 a.m. brunch should work great. The only note would be if Disney characters on the top deck (9 & 10) in their Alaskan outfits are a priority for you. They are on those decks from around 11 a.m. - 2 p.m. that day and the lines can get long. Just something to keep in mind for timing of Palo brunch. But goodness, the views during glacier day in Palo will be amazing! Have an amazing time! 😊
So glad you enjoyed it! The temperatures really varied depending on where we were. For glacier day, it was 46°F / 7°C but on other days it was in the 60s F. It was really warm on our Skagway and Ketchikan day but cold and rainy in Juneau!
Can you please explain how you order the gluten free donuts and muffins? Is it just on the tickets we were told on the dream in September I couldn’t order anything off the room service due to coeliac disease. Don’t want to miss out on the wonder when we have our early start
We're so sorry you had that experience. 😢We've been cruising DCL with celiac since 2014 and haven't had any issues ordering GF items from room service. We had the lunch from room service on this cruise day that included GF burgers, fries, and chicken tenders. Room service always ask if we have allergies/special diets, so that's disappointing to hear that you were told you couldn't order room service (especially on the Disney Dream, which is the ship we've sailed the most with!). For the room service GF donuts and muffins, I both called room service to confirm we could get them and then filled out one of the door hanger room service tags for breakfast and wrote on it that we needed GF donuts and muffins and were able to get them with no issues early in the morning several days of our Alaska cruise. A few tips that I would suggest if they say you can't get them from room service is to talk to your head server from main dining and explain what you want to do. Our head servers have always been super helpful and assisted in a few requests that other crew members were sure on or didn't think were possible. You could also get the GF donuts and muffins from Cabanas the day before and pop them in your refrigerator in your stateroom for the next morning. That could be an option too! I hope this helps and you have a great time on the Wonder! 🚢
