I think you guys reacted to their song "No Diggity".
Fun Fact: their producer is Teddy Riley, who is from the group you guys like very much, "Guy", whose song you reacted to called "I like". I suggest you start keeping a written log of who you react to so that when us "OG's" give you the history and info on the artists and songs, you'll be able to recognize and see the beautiful dots that connect because a lot of these people really are connected to each other in some type of way.
Also, if you liked their sound, you'll probably enjoy reacting to the group "Silk".
They did No Diggity a while back
Excellent suggestion. And I agree. It’s time to “connect the dots”.
Yesterday I was trying to think of what happened to Teddy Riley after Jodeci flipped the script on New Jack Swing. I forgot about Blackstreet. :-)
Yes thank you. Like, um hello pay attention and connect the dots. Its like they turn off the video and instantly forget about it
Yes. Then they'd know that Teddy is HARLEM ALL DAY, the architect behind much of the 90s R&B they will find & Love (Him & Babyface) and him heading to Virginia Beach is what laid the foundation for other great producers/ artists, namely Missy Elliot & Timbaland, and Pharrell Williams/ The Neptunes ( Pharrell wrote Riley's verse on RumpShaker before they became the super producers we know now)
Didn't y'all react to Blackstreet's No Diggity some months back or am I trippin? This should be the second song then lol. But this one is also a 90s R&B classic, y'all gotta do Before I Let You Go from them too.
Yep they did! I had to look it up...but they did! Blackstreet is bad ass!
Yep they did no diggety. 🤔
They listen and review so much music from so many eras, they could've forgot the name of the band. There are plenty of songs I know when I hear it, but I couldn't tell you the name of the band. Esp music before my era. The point is they respect and appreciate the music.
@@ElleBoogie_ exactly especially in their case bc music and the artist's names are so new 2 them. Not easy 4 them 2 remember.
Before I Let You Go is their #1 banger for me!
Anything Teddy Riley is golden! Can’t go wrong!! He produced them
Yessssss 💯🔥. He was part of the group also.
Preach! 💯
💯
Teddy Riley is goated
Blackstreet, Guy, I thibk Public announcement, so many more. They said hes a perfectionist thats why groups always broke up.
This is still 🔥🔥🔥🔥 matter of fact that whole CD is BOMB!!
Yes, girl! Blackstreet used to blow! They stayed on repeat. 🔥🔥🔥
Absolutely! There’s not a miss on the album 💿!!!✌🏻
Facts 💯. My son was 4 years old when this came out and used to be singing his heart out like he had been through some things 🤣🤣
I just listened to this yesterday. Always a banger
Every single song. Big classic! ❤️
You have to do “ Before I Let You Go” ... guaranteed on repeat on your fav playlist
YES!!!😊
Yes!
Yessss....🔥🔥🔥🔥
Yes one of my favorites
Facts
Now listen to DeBarge... A Dream... Same music just a slower version... Blackstreet sped it up... Both are epic
Most used sample in hip hop
Yas! Bunny did her thing in that song!
Thanks! 👍
Might as well listen to Tupac I ain’t mad at cha
Jagged Edge “I Gotta Be” and “Walked Outta Heaven “
Jodeci “Come Talk To Me” and Cry For You
Silk “ Gurl U For Me” and Freak Me Baby”
What is taking so long to get back to Jodeci? Girl...
Yes "Come and talk to me", "Stay", "My Heart belongs to You" or "Freak You" are certified classics
You guys should do the video (Shoot em up movie) by the Deele, they're the group that Babyface sung with before he went solo. Check it out.
you goonna make these young men new dads with them song selections lol
@@ladycharliestallworth2280 classic
Thats when words had meanings… everybody in the group can be a lead singer… and no beefing.
Yaaas 👏🏾👏🏾👏🏾👏🏾
And when singers actually had talent unlike “singers” today
I mean... there was some beefing lol but yeah the talent was every thing & every where back then!!
Fellas. Gotta react to Donell Jones featuring Left Eye "U Know What's Up." I can't emphasize enough how 🔥 that song is
Yes please
I totally agree.
Defo, banger!
Yup, long overdue.
100%. all time rnb classic
New Edition- If it isnt love
Force MDs - Tender Love
Troop- spread my wings
Tevin Campbell- tomorrow
Spread my wings 😢
Fyi: The Father of New Jack Swing Teddy Riley produced this group and the group Guy. You reacted to their song "I Like." Another Blackstreet song you should react to""Before I let you go" & "Baby be mine."👍
YES!!! 😊💕
Classsssic! This new jack swing era was one of my fave eras of music period. 🔥🔥🔥
Me 2 absolutely
Same!!
This era literally had dope RnB groups from coast to coast and each had their own style. 112, Jagged Edge, Black Street, etc .. and then on the ladies side TLC, Xscape, Total, etc ... it was just a lovely time to love RnB
@@OlmanWillo yessss!!
New jack made you dance…
Back when you were free to roam, out of reach, in the present and weren't tracked by cell phones... music was MUSIC.
Preach Preach Preach
It was everything!
Truth!!👏🏾
I thought you were going to recognize that they sampled DeBarge's "A Dream", which Tupac also sampled in "I Ain't Mad at Cha". If you haven't reviewed those two songs, please do.
"Never gonna let u go" is another Blackstreet hit. Check it out☺
One of my altime favorite songs
Teddy Riley started this group, who is also the one who started the group “GUY”
Now let's do Christopher Williams - Promises, Promises and I'm Dreamin'. He has a remake of Teddy Pendergrass'- Come and Go With Me. 💛💯
...and don't forget his ballad "All I See". That song...whew!
Yes! I love I’m dreamin!
Great song choice! Since you loved this one, I recommend Mint Condition's "Nothing Left to Say" and "What Kind of Man Would I Be". Both so smooth. As for a female group, I gotta suggest some Brownstone "If You Love Me".
Have a great day, guys!
First!!! ❤️❤️❤️. Notification Gang Gang Gang
Now you have to listen to Debarge A Dream. That’s where this beat comes from for this song. Also, Tupac I Aint Mad At Ya. Trust. Thank me later. 😂
Yes! Black street - total banger CD - " No Diggity" remember? 🤣 There's an incredible Church-like spiritual song on this album called, "The Lord Is Real." It's similar to Foreigner's song, "I want to know what Love Is" in how powerful it is. A great example of how diverse this group could be when they wanted to. Excellent choice my young connoisseurs of music 💕👍
Had no idea. 😮
Teddy sampled Time Will Reveal by DeBarge for The Lord Is Real. You should check it out!
@@alexisimani6134 that's an awesome fact Alexis! I actually love that song by DeBarge and did not realize that's what was playing in the background. Thanks for the info ☺️
On every r&b heartbreak mixed tape of the 90''s you will find this song. I forgot how much talent these groups actually had. Listen to the blend of these four voices together. And their harmonies are straight fire, too 🔥
The track is sampled from DeBarge, A Dream written & sang by Bunny DeBarge & music by El DeBarge
That Motown and Philly sound blended - interesting.
Aye nah, shout out to the Debarge's "A Dream" sample.
Now that was my song 💕
@@feefee937 Its s t i l l mine too. Got to give it to the originators.
I was just mentioning this, and that Tupac used the same sample for one of his songs.
@@MsAgentprovocateur10 exactly!
This was a banger back in the day...Teddy Riley is a true icon...I don't know if you have heard Tupac's song I Ain't Mad At Cha, but it has the same melody... A classic for sure
Yep. All taken from Debarge's song, 'A Dream' in the early 80s.
Love Blackstreet! No Diggity is my fav 🙂
They reacted 2 that song already.
They sang the hit w/Dr. Dre No Diggity, No Doubt produced by the mega hit making producer Teddy "TR" Riley. This song was sampled from the group named DeBarge and the song was called "A Dream". They were the 2nd group of guys chosen 4 this particular cd from 90's. The 1st group of Blackstreet fellas were just as good if not even better.
I thought it was A Dream. I could be wrong.
@@lakenyamichelle75 It was my bad. I got the title of their song mixed up with DeBarge's SWM. Tks
Love this track..in fact you could really pick any Blackstreet track..you will love them all ❤
Y’all finally made it to one of my all time most favorite groups of the’90s!!!!!! Check out Dave Hollister. He was/is a beast solo artist too!
You reacted to two songs by Guy. Backstreet comes from members of Guy (well Teddy Riley). I'm glad you liked this song so much! Oh and you already reacted to another one of Blackstreet's bangers "No Diggity." BTW most male singers & groups in the 90's wore all white 😅
This album is still one of my all time favorites. Listen to The whole thing.
Good choice guys. You should try Mint Condition, Loose Ends and Tony Toni Tone. 3 great R & B groups!
Yasss all 3.
FACTS
Absolute Banger this one. Great reaction to a classic. Also check out "Before I let you go" .You won't be disappointed
The 90s was the golden years of r&b. You really can't go wrong listening to any of the girl or guy groups from that era. I highly recommend you check out Xscape's "Who Can I Run To."
Ya'll are turning it out 💥💯!!! You guys have listened to them before. This is a Teddy Riley New Jack vibe. One of the best all around groups ❤ 🙌🏽
You guys have reacted to Blackstreet before..."No Diggity" w/Dr. Dre and Queen Pen. You should check out some of their other songs "Before I Let Go", "Joy", and "I Get Lonely" w/Janet Jackson. They've changed members over the years. The constant is Teddy Riley, producer and former member of the group Guy.
Thank you for saying So Lonely-Janet w Blackstreet!!! I thought that I was the only one thinking about that song. I love it 🤩!
You guys must have forgot you reacted to “no diggity “ That’s Blackstreet as well!
Love, love, love this song!!!
Y’all missed the greatest era of music 💕 Glad you get to experience this🖤
This song was the JAM back in the day!!!! Loved this whole album (still in my rotation too)!! 🙌🏾💕❤️
For more of Teddy Riley's work, also check out his mix of Jane Child's "I Don't Wanna Fall In Love" (another great song also!).
Lovvvve this song! Sometimes these old videos kind of ruin the song though. Hard to separate the cheesy images from the good music. Sometimes I feel like it’s better to just listen to these on their own. Love your videos! Always make me smile!! 🙏❤️
I kinda get what ur sayin, the video don't fit the song or the lyrics. They could've created the video another way so it could fit better.
I never like watching music videos. I always go straight to a video with a static image when listening to a song on here.
@@cinemeleon2808 totally. Way better to listen to music on its own especially the first few times before being influenced by a video. There have been many times where I have seen a music video for something long after I’ve heard the song and thought: thank god I didn’t see this video before I fell in love with the song because i would’ve hated it otherwise!
This is my favorite Blackstreet song. This was another group formed by the incomparable Teddy Riley. You guys reacted to their song “No Diggity” about seven months ago
New Jack Swing Forever 🔥🔥🔥OMG; you just did one of my favorite songs!!!!!! Teddy Riley produced this; you hear the “GUY” sound; this song always gives me the chills. By the way, the melody of this song comes from the DEBARGE song “A Dream” ❤️
Hey my babies!!! This is the jam!!! Love this song❤️
Do you remember the song Joy? Oh My Goodness 😍🔥
@@sharians-bluesky yes!! So beautiful and the video was beautiful as well!!!!
@@angelinarobertson2130 Thanks for telling me there is a video. I will look it up 🙂👍🏼
Have you never responded to No Diggity by Blackstreet? If not, go find it now. If you liked this you will LOVE that.
They reacted 2 that song already.
Love them! They have many hits! Grew up in the 90s! Best era of MUSIC!
Teddy Riley is the greatest producer of all time
That beat has been sampled in some of the greatest Hip Hop moments.
Tupac I ain’t mad at cha. A classic
Been waiting for you boys to listen to this one! Definitely an old favorite.
You reacted to BlackStreet when you did the reaction to the song....."YO DIGGITY".....Blackstreet is a solid group with a great song genre that you can always groove to.......
You absolutely have to react to Joy by Blackstreet. It was co-written by Michael Jackson and has his influence all over it!
Actually you guys reacted to BlackStreet once before. You did their hit No Diggity - the one with the puppet in the video
90’s songs don’t wait…..they get you together early💯
Ok, y'all already reacted to No Diggity by Blackstreet. This was another one of their hits and a banger fa sho!
A new one for me. Liked it a lot.
Requesting 1,000 Foo Fighters, learning to fly.
You'll be surprised!

TLC- Crazy Sexy Cool
Micheal Jackson- history album
Keith Sweat- Keep it coming cd 💿
And R Kelly- R Kelly album in rotation

You must react to "Dream" by Debarge, that's the beat they used for this song. Also try "Stay With Me" by Debarge, Notorious B.I.G used that beat for his hit "One More Chance"
Great song, one of my favorites, thanks for the review
Would really be great if you reacted to “A Dream” by Bunny Debarge. Classic!! 🔥 Teddy Riley sampled it for this song.
You should react to BLACKSTREET feat OLE DITRY BASTARD, SLASH - FIX (Official Music Video)you’ll love it!
FACTS 🥰🥰
Yes this is a banger. You should try Stephanie Mills- Something in the way you make me feel, Jodeci-feenin Average White Band- Pick up the pieces, A Love of Your Own, The Brothers Johnson- StrawberryLetter 23. I am a music junkie
Wait a minute.... Didn't you guys react to Blackstreet before? Their song "NO Diggety?" I'm almost certain y'all did.
They did, but they didn't remember it. Probably from reacting to so many songs day in and day out.
NOW THAT WAS SINGING...
👏👏👍
Dru Hill “I Love You “ and “I Should Be (BET Version)
The group Next and the song is “Too Close”. I promise you guys will love it
Blackstreet had some bangers. 🔥
Teddy Riley could do no wrong in the late 80s and the 90s. Check out his other group, Guy.
Also, this song samples a classic by the group DeBarge called, “A Dream” (written and lead vocals by the only woman in the group, Bunny DeBarge).
Classic Music!!
Here's an epic idea if you LOVE to SMILE. 💡
YOU HAVE TO WATCH PERFECT STRANGERS!!! It's the FUNNIEST SHOW EVER!!! You will fall in love with the humor and cousin Balki, played by the comedy LEGEND, the one and only BRONSON PINCHOT!!! I LOVE BALKI SO MUCH!!!!! He is so adorable and funny! He will have you LAUGHING OUT LOUD!!!!! YOU WON'T REGRET IT!!!
P.S. It's not streaming anywhere unless you want to buy it on Amazon, but there are some scenes on RUclips that won't disappoint. The very first scene comes up if you look up "Larry meets Balki"! Now, that particular clip starts off boring, but just give it around 30 seconds to get HILARIOUS... 😊
Love you guys! This song samples DeBarge. They are an awesome group. They also wrote the songs Tupac, Biggie, and Ashanti used on their BIGGEST hits! You guys should definitely react to them! Songs like “A Dream”, All this love, Stay with me, Time Will Reveal and more
Janet Jackson feat. Blackstreet “ I Get So Lonely ) remix video
Janet Jackson “ Would You Mind” Live performance concert in Hawaii
Tupac on his song "I ain't mad at 'cha" uses also the same musical sample from the Debarge song: A dream. just a great song overall from the 90's
Do a reaction to Silk-Meeting in my bedroom
That whole album is classic
I wish I could go back to 1996. This song makes me feel like I didn't appreciate that time enough (Even though I had this song on cassette and on repeat😅)
Y’all gotta hear their song Joy. Michael Jackson wrote it. Great song. The guy Dave Hollister that’s in the group y’all gotta listen to called My Favorite Girl.
Love to see y’all react to the SANGERS!!! Knowing which parts y’all gonna light up on when you hear it is a thrill. Keep up the good work fellas.
Love this track…..70yr old (white) grandma in the U.K. here…been listening to it since it was first released….
Dang, y'all youngins make me feel OLD! This was the JAM when I was in high school! It still hits that same way for those of us who were there and now for a new generation!
Y’all, the main sample you hear is from 2Pac’s “I ain’t mad at ‘cha”. You’re welcome 😉 ☺️
I thought you heard "No Diggity". Teddy Riley knew what he was doing with this group. Hell with each his groups!
This is one of my FAVORITE songs by Blackstreet. Can you react to "No Diggity" by them?
Tupac used this music in one of his raps.
You guys gotta react to Before I let you go by Blackstreet 💯💯💯🔊
Another great one...when they sang with Janet Jackson on her remix of "I Get SO Lonely".
Oh my god this song back in the day when it came out I was fucking crazy about it! So many memories
Those was the days man I miss the good old days and as u can tell music was better more expressing love than hate having a good time now 2022 everyone is either filled wit hate or so depressed they dnt care to destroy themselves wit all these different drugs and leads them to their untimely demise.
Pretty Ricky - On the Hotline
Now listen to the song they sampled: "A Dream" by DeBarge!
Foxy Brown feat. Blackstreet “Get You Home”
Notice the tune sounds like Tupac's song I ain't mad at yah. ❤
This was a very popular song in the 90s, played at all the parties !!!
That sample that they and Tupac used is from the group DeBarge song A Dream
Please do "Don't Want you Back" by Backstreet Boys
Busta Rhymes Janet Jackson: What's it gonna be
I'd love to see you guys react to "Before I let you go", another banger from Blackstreet.
Mark Middleton is so underrated. ( High voice)
Always loved this song but am I the only one who can’t unsee the roller skating guy from a few years ago on You Tube with this song? 🤣😂🛼💀
Haha I dont remember but I instantly tought of an SNL sketch from a few years ago called 'Come Back Barack'. Very funny.
React to Before I let you go
Deep by Blackstreet is another classic.
