That was recorded in Austins backyard, Chris Chatham is a long time friend of Tim, and also one of the writers of So Long Dixie, bass guitarist is Chris Marion, Tim's brother in law and Sebastion Douyon plays on quite a lot of Austins solo songs usually recorded in Austins front room 🏴
I don't know what you should choose next but for Valentine's Day reactions, Home Free's cover of 'Make You Feel My Love' is mandatory. 😍
🤣🤣 I love that video 😂😂
I don’t know if Red will be able to survive that one !
She'll survive. I did! 😊
It's too bad she has already done When a Man. But "I Swear", too.
don't forget " I Swear"
I would so love to be Austin's neighbor! This is a really good song for these guys. I was watching a different reactor, Jennifer Glatzhofer who was talking about Tim's range and applauding that he works on the high part of it instead of just singing down low. She said it made him a better singer, and improved the depth of both ends of his range.
Now you really need to listen to Bring Him Home! Sebastian is on piano for that. He is super talented. In fact he's so good at accompaniment that you don't notice how good he really is. His placements are perfect! Do have tissues! This song is emotional and powerful. Austin's ending to it is unreal! The song is from the musical Les Misérables. The singer, Jean Valjean, is praying for the young man whom he cares for as a son to come home safely from the Napoleonic wars. Les Misérables is a French historical novel by Victor Hugo published in 1862.
Same!!
For more of Chris Chatham and his guitar you should check out "So Long Dixie".
❤💯💯💯
They all sound great together 😊
Austin and Chance also do solo work and have there own RUclips channels
Austin- Country,R&B, Soul and Musical Theatre
Chance-Folk,Sea Shanties and Country
Tim and Chance have collaborated with Peter Hollens
And The Hound and Fox
I would recommend
Wayfaring Stranger Adam Chance ft The Hound & Fox
Whistling Lad The Hound & Fox Ft Adam Chance
Both are amazing
Also Chances Solo work
If I Could Only Fly
Drivers License
Song For Home ( original)
The Man Who Can’t Forget ( Thom’s Song )
“Wayfaring Stranger” by Chance w/ The Hound and The Fox is mesmerizing!
Also, Red, you have to check out “Misty Mountain” by Peter Hollens w/ Tim Foust- all acapella also.
My favourite Peter Hollens collab is "I Still Haven't Found What I'm Looking For" (U2 Cover). An amazing lockdown video.
Everytime that I see Austin's deck...I always think of their song "Moonshine".
I need to hear that
Great reaction! Amazing to realize that the high tenor Austin was singing the lower part, and Tim the bass was carrying the highest part! These guys can do anything they want with those octaves. Add Chris's voice to the mix, and it's a win. Have you heard Austin's "Georgia On My Mind"? If not, run over there and do it. I saw Ray Charles do it many years ago in concert, and thought no one could ever turn my ear away from that, but Austin did -- not better, just different and so beautiful.
You heard Ray? Live? * redhead faints…
Ok now. Helplessly Hoping. Pretty sure you’ll love it and I’ll love watching you love it
Finely, Red. This song has an interesting history; living in Holland, i missed the 1973 original version - pre-internet times - , an intriguing version, but this fragile song was crushed by loud drums, so Hf does this song more than justice. Heart warming reaction; thanks for your kindness.
💕💕
Yes! So Long Dixie. Not intended to become a controversial song but somehow it has become one.
I love that Tim did the high part and then when he speaks he’s back in the basement. Yeah Sebastien on keyboards is a good friend of Austin’s and they collaborate a lot. Chris on guitar is a singer/songwriter friend of Tim’s and Chris Marion is Tim’s brother in law. Tim’s wife is Jenika Marion, a singer and her sister plays violin for Sweet & Low. So lots of friends with singing talent, sounds like your family. My brother plays guitar a bit and his son is very good with guitar and piano. Musical talent seems to have escaped me although I used to sing a little bit. Good reaction Red! We love our boys!😍😃
The family business💕
@@redheadedneighborTim's wife, Jenika, has a video called Hello Sun. I love her voice.
Not just Eye Candy....
but Ear Candy, too.😋❤🎸🎶
Indeed.. Austin did flirty eyes again..
Austin sings Bring Him Home from Le Mis that will break your heart! Loved this reaction!!❤
Thank you! 🥹
I think you will also love Austin's awesome Neon Moon (Brooks & Dunn). Chris Chatham accompanies on guitar with Sebastian on piano. On his solo channel.
I’ll love it!
You would probably like Austin doing "Unchained Melody" too...
I know I would!
#HOMEFREE....love it!
Sebastian is a beast! Did you see him playing the keyboard with a bandage on his hand? He had been burned badly in a fire and STILL played! If you like Chris's guitar work, check out Austin and co. singing What's It To You in his garage.
I missed the bandage!
This one just makes me so happy. Thanks for the Home Free...and Home Free-ish reactions.
My pleasure
Home Free IS composed of natural guys! Even with instruments!
💕
Redhead,I have a great pre-Home Free song for you to check out. It’s Tim (with Chris Chatham) singing a countrified Lady Gaga cover of Edge of Glory! It is so good! I hope you check it out either on your own or as a reaction. I hope I’ve made you curious enough to look it up. Lol I love it! This video is one of my favs with Austin, Tim and the gang! I love how Tim’s singing higher than Austin! Oh, another really good Home Free video, featuring Christ Chatham on guitar, is So Long Dixie! It has such a great vibe. I believe Tim and Austin wrote it with a couple of other people. Oh, I have that same Austin Brown shirt. Lol
Oooh I love that video 😊
Actually I see Austin and Tim a lot. I'm here to see you beautiful and your wonderful reactions. ❤
😊❤
You will enjoy the Home Free cover of "Blue Ain't Your Color"
Wow Red, this was great. Thanks
excited for more
Love hearing their side stuff as well as their Home Free music! Tim just blows me away with the highs he can hit to be a very deep bass! I’m working on it! Great reaction Red! I used to sing in a country band when I was in high school and a lot of our gigs were outside on an old flatbed . Low bass Kenneth
He also plays piano for all of Austin's solo videos
for all of the piano accompanied ones, but Steven Martinez plays the guitar for most of the guitar accompanied ones.
what i love is how tim sings in this and then the heck yea in the speech in the end haha.
This is so so good. I am so glad you got to this one Thank You country girl💗💗💗💗 What I find amazing is no matter who they as in all of home free or just one or two of them can harmonize with anyone at anytime so semmlessly and pefecty Check out Texas Hill and Home Free togerther I promise you will love it, In honor of your new chair you can now do the Butts Remix 🙏 I love your laugh ❤🧡💛💚💙#reaction #homefree #homefry #homefreereaction #timfoust #austinbrown ##reaction #homefree #homefry #homefreereaction #timfoust #austinbrown
😂
Hi Red! Love your reactions! Chris Chatham the guitar player fits right in with these guys because he's just as goofy as they are. Take a look at this clip of him auditioning for Home Free. Chris Chatham's audition. It's not even a minute long but he has the guy beside him freaking out. Lol! Have a great day! Oh, and by the way the fella playing the acoustic base is actually Tim Foust's brother-in-law.
“Playing with Fire” original written by Austin performed by Home Free is a must listen-you will love it!!!
The back porch is Austin's (he built it). They sound incredible together - someone said they were the yin & yang of vocal music. The man in the baseball cap is Chris Marion (Tim's brother-in-law). They also have a duet of "What's it to You" and Tim sings the bass on Austin's original "Hers Ain't Mine".
I could just feel that it was a real home.
Thanks for that red i am having my bad days .But you never let me down the cheer me up oh My name Is Chris and thanks Red❤❤❤
Hugs. Im sorry you are having one of those. It can be really rough sometimes. Im glad you stop by and visit. 😊
@@redheadedneighbor it is totaly worth it so good to have someone to talk to 😆
Yep snow freezing rain starting tomorrow.
This is a great song 👍😁
Music is great weather is… for an acquired taste
If I get stuck at home this weekend.
I hope you review more of the boys.like Folsom prison. Burning ring of fire. Yes I'm going to keep bugn 🐞 you on that one.😉
But not to much. Don't want you upset at me. Watching you will definitely make it soooooo much better being stuck inside .❤😁
I don't think we experienced the music the same gutteral way. But Tim hitting those high notes always amazes me. He drops lower than I can and hits higher than I can. Of course, I'm just a shower, kitchen and car singer.
Sooo good
Austin's Tears In Heaven will get you
A tissue song
Big time
Also his cover of I'm not Supposed to Love You Anymore. His physical portrayal of emotional exhaustion is scarily excellent.
Thank you Ms Red!
My pleasure!
More good stuff from him. I didn't think I knew this song but it does ring a bell. Must have heard it on the radio way back at some point.
it first came out in 1973, B. J Stevenson; and then Brooks & Dunn covered it in 1996.
@@nancyholter5646 Thanks :)
I love this one so much!! Seen it a million times , live it more each time!!
I think I will too.
Glad you are getting some sunshine down your way, brief though it may be. Up here where I am in Michigan, it is overcast and snowing. The real storm hasn't hit yet but is on it's way. In the meantime, nothing like some Home Free, or members thereof, to bring some sunshine our way. They are truly entertaining and bring their mastery of music every time. Even in a back yard. I do enjoy your reactions. You add an extra ray of sunshine with your reactions, and sharing with us how this makes you feel and the memories they touch. Until the next time; stay warm, stay dry and stay blessed.
Thank you so much. Just think of the pretty spring we will have. Michigan has beautiful summers! I assume because of all the snow.
It hit us, didn't it, lol?😂
This is one of my favorites as well, Thanks Red!
The List of highly competent musicians and singers these two know must be long !!!!
I don't know if you have seen the other new one "Delta Dawn" with Country singer Brooke Eden. it was soooo good!
Love is the way of the world ❤
I'm eternally grateful that the youtube algorithm pushed Home Free into my orbit. I had never heard of them and hadn't enjoyed much music until these guys set me right. Good reaction. It's nice enjoying talent with other listeners. They can be zany and playful or they make us cry.
If the internet has ever offered anything wonderful, it has been music!
Loved your reaction. Not often when we hear Tim doing the higher part, and Austin the lower one.
They can do it all
This premiered on my birthday two years ago ~ yep, it was a really good birthday! 😆🍟 Thanks Red!
Oh that’s so fun!
Thanks! This is one of my favorites and one of my favorite reactions you have done you are the Best Red
Thank you.🙏
What a nice change to hear them away from Home Free! Nice song, not heard it before (shame on me), but we don’t really hear much of this sort of stuff here in the UK!
Nice smiles again, combination of a nice new comfy seat and a nice song that stirs up memories is a great feeling! 🌹
This is so very awesome! Love these guys so much! Love your reaction!
I’ve seen this many times and every time it just makes me feel happy! 🥰
Hey Red glad you checked this one out. Just a good wholesome backyard sing along. I knew you would love it. Not sure if you have done their Johnny cash "Ring of Fire" cover yet. They have two versions. One video and one live performance when they were competing in the show the "Sing Off" way back when. Love your channel.
Thank you
Thanks for the reaction, this was so good in so many ways. Glad I found your channel.
Thank you! I’m glad you are here
Chris Chatham has known Tim for a long time. They were in a Acappela group twenty something years ago. Chris Marion is Tim's wife Jenika's brother. Sebastian plays with Austin on his channel. There is no more of those shirts left the last time I was on Austin's page. Always really enjoy watching your reaction to these guys.
great reaction!! definitely, as others have mentioned, check out Sweet and Low. Tim and Austin's side project. sometimes they go live for 30 - 45 minutes on youtube.
I just love your reactions and listening to your sweet southern voice, I’m partial to that since I live in WV! I to loved this song and the backyard vibe!
When you get a chance I’d love to see your reactions to some of my Home Free Favorites! But I’m sure you’re busy and it’s hard to decide! I love The Broken Road, How Great Thou Art, Go Rest High On That Mountain, and of course Take Me Home WV!
Take Care and God Bless!
I plan on reacting to all of these!
The Home Free Boys whether together or in separate projects just bring out great feelings. Most of the time it is just joy and a feeling of awe and elatedness. They do have a few songs that are more serious with very important messages, but even those derive an emotion that is pure. Red, I do enjoy watching you react. This small town midwestern guy senses the wholesomeness in the Home Free guys and also in you. Keep reacting.
Thank you!
If you look at an Austin at home video you can see the patio / deck when he was building it. In another one you can see Amberly with their bass whit the deformed mouth that they resqued and he lives in a big metal tank. Amberly feeds him meal worms with a big teezers. Love getting insights into their lives. They make you feel like part of their family. Tim and Austin both now live in Nashville so they get together I think a lot.
I actually remember the original of "My Maria" by B. W. Stevenson in 1973. Always loved this song. I was not familiar with the Brooks & Dunn version. I really loved this performance by Tim & Austin & the other guys. Liked Austin singing in his lower register. I don't think I have ever heard Tim sound so clear & crisp in his upper falsetto range. Who would ever believe that he is a natural bass who can drop down into the basement depths. Wouldn't it be cool to have these guys perform for you at home?
Oh wow! Is t that amazing that a song can have so many “ owners”
Absolutely have loved this song sing I first heard the original 50 years ago. Those were the days of 4 inch platforms, miniskirts and dancing any time the music played. Dang,I'd kill myself in those heels now,but oh! the memories. Thanks Red! I love the way you love the music!
I really enjoy this one, and was pleased to see that you enjoyed it so much as well. You've got good taste Red.
Thank you!
Sorry I missed when you posted it. The best thing is I get to watch and re-watch you react to them. Listening to HOME FREE or the solo songs is just relaxing and comforting. You are so fun to watch the way you notice the finger work on the kitar
Thank you for watching.💕
@redheadedneighbor just love your reactions to #HOME FREE. Need to watch their videos to Elton John's "Country Roads Take Me Home" and Garth Brooks "Ain't Going Down Till The Sun Comes Up "
@@chuckstrenge-jv4wrJohn Denver sang Country Road 😊
Your reactions are awesome
Thank you
I really enjoy that there are two strong tenors in Chris and Austin but it is the bass Tim that does the high descant.
Because he is a vocal boss
🌹
I've liked this song sine about 1973 when the original was sung by the late CW Stevensong and the original actually reached as high as #6 on the top 40 chart. The man playing the bass guitar, Tim Marion, is Tim Foust's real life brother-in-law
Wheeze! Great rxn RHN
Ha! *Wheee
Thank you!
They were singing in Austin's backyard in Tennessee. I hear them too (cicadas) in late summer, I live in Virginia.
Isn’t it such a comfort?
I love this song!! now I have to go listen to the original one. Thanks as always for making me watch videos I wouldn't have.
I find it so ironic that the bass has the highest part..... :) Chris is also amazing...
I hate to say that I told you so, but I did. Just kidding, I love to be right and I'm glad that you enjoyed it as much as I thought you would! ❤️💜💚💛💙
You did tell me!
If you like to cover side work you should react to Misty Mountains cover by Peter Hollans and Tim Faust. Side note about 200 layers and great background to video. Love your reactions.❤
Thank you, I appreciate that very much
You must be somewhere in the with maybe? Anyways, i like your reactions.
❤ Austin and Tim 🥰😍 Are just amazing.🤠🔥🔥 Great reaction ❤️
They Bring Life back into my Soul!♥
My mom doesn't like this version 🤬🤣 it's one of my absolute favorites! ❤
she might prefer the original B. J Stevenson version.
@@nancyholter5646 Thank you Nancy 😊 I'll send that one to her.
I have been so impressed!
#Chrisfor#5
*Not an actual hashtag (yet) but should be!!!
A question for you. Tim dyed his grey streak for a long time before deciding 'screw it' and stopping. I'm curious whether the ladies like him better with or without. You saw their cover of 'Man Of Constant Sorrow', he was still dying it then, so you have the contrast. On recommendations, I'm hoping to see you do 'Why Not' and 'American Pie' soon.
I like it natural best. Both of these are highly requested so I can see them popping up soon
Female loving the grey!
Can someone please tell me if you can stream this or buy the track anywhere???? It's so good!!!!
Well guys, I didn't think it was possible but, I think we lost her to the cicadas this time.... Don't know about y'all but here in East Tennessee those things drive me crazy. Admittedly though, I'm a little crazy to start with so it's a short drive. 🤣👍
Lolz I like them. When I was in the Midwest, I missed them
You mentioned side projects. Check out Superfruit (Scott and Mitch from Pentatonix) Their Frozen performance is fantatic.
Wait.. I need that
And I understand that alcohol may have been involved
You might try Chris Rupp and Tim Foust's version of "Angels among us" if you haven't already.
Sounds good!
That does NOT sound like where I live in the summertime. I am in the dry and arid Rocky Mountains, far to the west of any buzzy crawly creatures who's only reason to exist is to drive you up a wall. I lived for a year where they are, and they did their job well. Austin is safe from me being his pesky neighbor just because of the Cicadas. Tim, on the other hand may be worth risking them just to hear him practice in the evenings.
Lol!
I wish you’d listen to Home Free with Peter Hollens doing Still Haven’t Found What I’m Looking For, recorded during the pandemic with hundreds of Hollens’ fans.
I’m making my way through..
I plan on it. I think that sounds wonderful
Hey again neighbor, seen probably all ur HF reacts, good job but the way. A couple more of my favs you can try "My Church" and "One Man Band" enjoy
Oh, thank you!
Hey Darlin. There is another video where they have deer and lightning bugs in the back yard.
There is??? 🥹🥹🥹
@@redheadedneighbor Here is a collaboration with Tim Foust's wife, Jenika. The deer are back there grazing away on clover.

I didn't think you'd like it.😜
Lol
Such a good song, but I cringe a bit everytime someone calls it a Brooks and Dunn cover. 🙄
Most are too young to have heard the original. Loke how many talk about When a Man Loves a Woman as a Michael Bolton cover.
I've followed these men since Sing off. check out "brothers in arms". you're wonderful Good Lady.
Thank you
