totally agree with the cleansing oil take! Switching to only using foam cleaners and not double cleansing everyday changed my skin for the better for sure

Why does using an oil based cleanser negatively affect skin barrier? I thought it was the opposite

Yes to sun cushions! I’ve used the Scinic one and currently have the Elroel Pang Pang Big Sun cushion which has a really nice cooling sensation. They make reapplying much easier.

I find using a cleansing oil protects my barrier. I use Cerave oil to foam cleanser, but to be fair it isn't a true oil cleanser.

Hi Soo! My skin is super sensitive so I can’t double-cleanse. I don’t use make-up only sunscreen so I cleanse with La roche posay lipikar sydnet ap+ (which is supposed to be for the body but it’s perfect for face too): it’s creamy at the beginning then it becomes foamy when you rub it in your hands. Super gentle, it doesn’t strip the skin, my holy grail! ❤

As a UK citizen, I can’t remember how I discovered de Maf products but they are exceptional for doing the job gently while working perfectly. I’ve probably used most Asian products but for my very reactive sensitive skin, I’m overly impressed by this brand ❤

OMG I’M GOING THROUGH THIS EXACT SAME THING RIGHT NOW it’s been going on for almost 2 months now and idk what’s going on 😭
Like same pattern/areas on my face and everything! 😱 This is what I need!!
Edit after watching: so I already use a milk/cream cleanser as my morning cleanse (and lately evening too, using a gentle cleanser like the Dokdo foam or I’m From Mugwort gel) and rarely use makeup (I work from home), but I too had a period of about 2 weeks where I was trying out new makeup/BB creams AND spending 3+ hours in 90+ degree weather (football & soccer games, state fair, etc)😅 I think my issue is that I need to just commit to *ZERO* actives-I keep trying to use my prescription azelaic acid, tretinoin, and hydroquinone here and there and it’s setting me back 😭 I’ll follow you Soo and commit to the full gentle! 😌👌🏽
