It’s surprising that people say the water wading capacity of jimny is less..it is good to see jimny taking on 800 mm of water and going without getting stuck..this vehicle is really good..
There were 3 people inside the Jimny and 2 of them are heavy built. The water flow was not too strong to float. But i could feel the force of water pushing the vehicle side to side and the gravels and stones/boulders under the water made it even challenging.
Hi, I sent an email to Maruti support team on this and my testing outcome and here is their response : "Your personal experience of taking the Jimny into 810mm of water might have yielded a successful outcome, but it's important to remember that exceeding the specified wading capacity can potentially pose risks to the vehicle's components and its overall functionality. Manufacturers often set conservative figures to ensure that the vehicles can safely handle a wide range of scenarios and environmental conditions without encountering issues."

The water wading capacity in some websites is 310 mm for Jimny.. I thought seeing is beleiving and thats why took a video shot of Jimny in water with the front engine cover almost submerged under water..IF that is 300 mm... I cannot comment anything. We took a measuring tape and measured the depth of the place where it was 810mm and after some inspection, the jimny went in and came out.

It is indeed a good vehicle. Not a drop of water seeped in. The water level was almost near the window once. :)
What happens afterwrds is another story dude
whats the color of jimny used in this video?
Granite Grey
Extraordinary performance by Jimny 🔥🔥
Thanks for watching.
With some good bash plates, diff breathers and a 40mm lift... Jimny will become even more capable
Absolutely. Post this offroad, i have also installed the under body protection for Jimny.
What bro. Test a flooded underpass like Bangalore or any city. Will it cross.
Flooded underpass lol, bro, these are repurposed jeeps trying hard to be cars, not boats (although they handle like one)
Jimny is amazing ❤
Very true.
Very nice vehicle with great capabilities 🙌👏
It really is!
Note the point 810mm @ some places... I have seen a video of jimny without load in side, it was floating and running with the water flow...

which place is this ?
Kakkabe Offroad event in Coorg, Karnataka.
Wow wow ❤❤❤
Thanks for watching
Great test
Glad you liked it!
Wadding capacity should be tested based on standing water not on waves
Thanks
Jimny rocks ..😊🎉
Jimny is a very capable vehicle.
Jimny ROXX 😅
Come on….. that’s not true… why you didn’t record it from outside? From inside you can tell everything ☝️
Then why the hell Suzuki themselves showing lesser water wading on paper. They are somehow demoting its image.

Here's a tip.. don't sit inside a car while recording its water wading capacity... The viewers don't wanna know how it is inside the cabin.. 🥴🥴😑😑😑
K
Not good for the vehicle without breathers
Agree.
Its only 300 mmm ....in 800 mm jimny will float...
