i made a little diagram/pattern sheet that you can use! it has a diagram of the flower stitch so you can see how many stitches you should have at the end of each row/between gaps etc. if you have that along with this video then hopefully it’ll clear up any confusion. it’s linked in my bio 💗💗

I made this top for my sister for Christmas and she LOVES it! some notes for those trying because there was a bit of trial and error:
    - although i tried using a yarn and hook size similar to those used in the video, the measurements did not exactly come out the same as in the video and the panels were smaller
    - because of this, the torso piece did not come as far down, meaning that the sleeves had to be longer than instructed
    - for torso pieces, i did 4 flowers by 4 flowers
    - for sleeve pieces, i did 3 flowers wide by 4.5 flowers long ( i only did part of the last flower for lack of yarn which wasn’t idea but it also didn’t look bad by any means)
    - i kept it to be quite open on the top for the neckline so that it was pretty slouchy & it looked very beachy and pretty
i hope this is helpful for anyone! happy crocheting (:
