AG like many Japanese bands refuse to box themselves into one genre. They mix pop, City pop, hip hop, jazz and hard rock. You find elements of all that in their music. They also really explore Japanese culture and issues, some very serious as well. Koi Geba for example is a song about the problem with teacher-student affairs. Not a light subject but they tackle it with a great video. As for this song it is about facing the fears you have when you are trying to fit in and find yourself in society, find a love interest and basically grow up. Feelings that are universal.

Thanks for explaining. Ahh I see. It seems to be working for them because their audience and fans love them ! It’s so out of the box I’m trying to understand it but I love their latest track 😊

so re: "what they used to do" of the three songs you've reacted to do far, Otona Blue is actually the oldest. The music video and first take performance is new, but the song isn't. Arguably, that one is closest to being representative of their old style, while the hip hop and pop punk style stuff is the newer trend that they've picked up for their international debut, partially due to the influence of their 'new' (not so much new by this point) mentor and producer, "Money Mark" Nishita, the Beastie Boys collaborator and song writer

Ohh I see - well I’m really liking their new genre but that First Take live performance was a great a song too. I’m going to stick with them and see how I find their other genre of music 😊

Try react their old song the one that feat Zetrio , I think, forgot the title.. Its kinda jazzy but easy listening, more serious music video and style but very much enjoyable..
