I have this old set up. I liked it. What was your test experience in Full TTL flash on the M6 TTL. What other newer Leica flash work in full TTL on the M6 TTL? SF-24D or SF-60? I learned recently the Nikon SC-29 TTL off camera flash cable works great on a flash bracket and such.
hello I just got the sf20! Question I have classic as well.. do you use shutter speed over 60? Or so I have to have my shutter dial at flash icon whenever I’m using the flash itself.
Hey! I've been trying to mount my sf20 to my m4-2 which should be the same hot as the classic m6, but the little screw on the hot shoe is stopping the flash from inserting all the way in, and the flash also wouldn't trigger when I press the shutter so if I did anything wrong?
@@AlexIvory thanks anyways! No worries, I tried to look it up online but apparently no one has the same issue with me, so I might just take them to aperture uk and see what the problem is
Hey! Do you find the flash hard to get off/on the camera? I got it for my MP and it requires a bit of resistance to put it on or take it off, was wondering if that was normal
@@AlexIvory got ya, do you find that the automatic mode works well outdoors as well? I read somewhere it turns off after measuring, not sure if it turns back on when the scene changes?
@@MoghulVeyron i'm not sure! i always use it only problem i've had is when i've accidentally not moved my shutter speed but trail and error is the best way with flash
you can always override the settings for eg. put the f stop up one stop, or via iso. when making shots like the landscape one in the video I metered for the scene and let the flash go off knowing it would light up the car regardless
i meter it by scene. as a rule yes 1/60 of a second. when exposing for photos like the first one in the video 0:01 i exposed for the sky knowing the flash would catch the car and foreground and i'd have a balanced exposure across the negative. all trial and error my man
@@AlexIvory hello! Thank you for the quick response! I am using classic m6 as well, and just purchased the SF20 and I really wanted to know if auto mode work with Classics. Thank you!
LFG
hey! thanks my dude
Awesome. Thank you for the information about this flash!
