Because of this they were very very heavy, which meant their engines were very very thirsty for fuel. And thanks to the US navy submarine corps, by the time the two ships were finished, Japan had a fuel shortage. Not exactly a winning combo.
My grandma had to learned how to sing this song when the Japanese occupied Singapore and she told me that she had to sing this song everyday when she went to school

Many people call them brutal criminals but they were just like everyone else fighting the war except they had a strong hold and unwavering control over their fear which allowed them to fight harder faster and more effectively than others.
