In this clash royale video, I decided to make the ultimate clash royale free to play guide. I've been doing my clash royale f2p series for almost 2 years at this point, and I've learned a lot from doing it. So, I wanted to make a video compiling all of the tips that I've learned that I found to be the most helpful. Hope you all enjoy the clash royale f2p guide video!!

i reached the end of goblin queens journey without upgrading my baby goblins from lvl 9 , with the new trophy rework , its very easy to reach , just make sure you pack in log , or arrows for cards like goblins. So i recommend everyone to play it , even if u lose 9 games which is -27 , and win one which is +30 , you are still progressing...
Another tip: focus on leveling your spells first
Zap amd Arrows my first lvl 14/15 on my mini account:)
One best option of using your trade tokens effectively is using them to upgrade them from lvl 12 to 13, and use a Book to finish it off. You can hold at most 10 of each trading token, and you can use them to get the cards you need to trade. For that, you need
-10 Legendary Trade Tokens
-10 Epic Trade Tokens
-15 Rare Tokens
-Or 12 Common Trade Tokens
To get your card from lvl 12 to 13. I recommend saving a couple of Wild Cards to get the exact amount of cards you need for you to upgrade, then use a Book right away to get the maximum value possible
Or in case you already have one, and can get another, you can repeat the same process, just with less Trade Tokens requirement

The ultimate tip is to log in daily
The daily lucky drop increases progression a ton. I’ve gotten over 20 champion wild cards, 7 wild shards, and 8 or 9 books from the drops.

@@i_saidmeow2469 well yes but also no, logging in daily does increase the likelihood of getting a good drop, but it doesn't increase the numbers AFAIK
@@Rpzz0 Playing more games = higher chance. I grinded to top 10k in april 2024 season and I got at least 4 legendary drops and 5 epic drops. I barely played last month and got mostly commons and rare drops

I have bought a lot of passes since I came back to the game (evolution update), but I'm still gaming the MK event so I get the most amount of MK cards and have to spend the least wild legendary cards lol
I’ve been f2p for almost 5 years now lol. I’d say I’m an above average f2p player as far as my account goes including: card levels, evos and king lev
I never got a legendary cube and i get evert day
Tips for other ppl, witch is kinda bad would use executioner for area effect or really anything else, gobbling gang instead of smarmy, also meganight is not perfect proof ot just does rrl well in mid ladder
step one: mega knight
I have almost enough cards to max out all the cards to lvl 14. Just legendaries and champions.( I have been playing the game since all rarities had different levels, dropped for previous 2-3 years though, back from last 2 seasons). So for me, gold is all I need tbh since I don't uae champions in my deck. So using Season tokens for evos, and gold. And buying maxed cards for elite wild cards.

I'm f2p and I have 8 evolutions (I got 5 for free from Supercell) and 10 elite levels (2x from lucky drops). Why even people pay Supercell, when they give everything for free?

Another tip: DO NOT upgrade any card to level 15. I'd rather be a level 10 king tower in 8k trophies with level 14 cards rather than a level 14 king tower with level 15 cards
Damn well too late for me I guess. Though it’s a lot more fun playing against cards that are the same level as me. I was level 12 in Arena 18 with lvl 14 Pekka and now I’m level 14 rower with level 15 Pekka lol. I can’t turn back time because I don’t wanna waste my time being a F2P. Took too long.

@@GavinKlostermann because if you upgrade to level 15 then you get so much XP it can get you 3 levels.
You'll need lvl 15's to do well in Path Of Legends mind

The newcomers have no idea of the grind this game was when it was in it's infancy! First 3 to 4 years there was hardly any ways to get good stuff, Or alot of it
Gold was really hard to come by and was grim upgrading something that got nerfed lol

Since drops have been added to clash royale i didn't got a single legendary drop .
I wish they would add that the more you get less valuable drops the changes for getting legendary drops increases

I'm gonna give in a buy the Diamond Pass for the first time tommorow, I've owned 6 OG Gold Passes but I need that Pekka Evo in my main deck. However, my F2P managed to pull 2 Book of Books in the same week.

Those daily lucky drops just give me 16 wild legendary cards (i starded a month ago and have 4200 trophies, so it's a lot!)

I've been focusing on this deck lately: Giant Skeleton, Ram Rider, Furnace, Skeleton Dragons, Dart Goblin, The Log, Bomber, Bats (I have Evo Bats). I swap out one card to progress Mastery, usually whichever card is closest to clearing a task
I also have the following evos as an F2P:
Skeletons, Bats, Knight, Archers, Firecracker, Mortar, Tesla, Barbarians, Royal Giant, Royal Recruits, and Mega Knight (Skeletons and Tesla were from the "Choose Your Evolution" event, and Royal Giant, Mortar, and Mega Knight were from other free events)
i like this deck apart from the furnace. i would use another building that isn't a spawner, maybe like a tesla

I don't really lik esome of the stuff you said and as 2 year 100% f2p myself i think im allowed to comment,
1. get the book before you get the shard, there is a reason its 10k tokens 2. NEVER EVEN IF YOU RE ARENA 1 USE A BOOK ON A CARD THATS NOT LVL 13 3. If you re f2p and want to actually get good you should nt keep the same deck forever, once you unlock champions you should switch to a new deck thats viable competitively, I honestly dont recommend making your own decks in the first place, you ll end up with random cards maxed out and will have trouble maxing out specific decks later, for examplle if you take hog eq there are plenty of variations, but if you make your own deck the cards are spread out across different archetypes. Something else i wanna say is never max out cards like mk unless its for an actual deck you know works or you re like me and had a spare book without anything to use it on. Once you start having high levels on maybe like 20-30 cards i also recommend to stopo buying the tourney rewards for 500 gems if you like cosmetics, they dont really give that much overall and even though i often get 10 i havent bought it in ages, i only recommend it if you re not maxed out. not leveling up cards outside your deck is something you should only do once they re like lvl 10-11 beceause they stop giving much xp per gold at that point
