Quakery. That's not going to do anything for back pain, or any pain for that matter.

Hi again Unholy - cool name btw, reminds me of highschool.
You commented on another video of mine asking about what exactly adjusting does to a person. Thanks for being a fan and helping with SEO! I responded, but it seems you haven’t read it through. Perhaps it’s too long?
Regardless, I’ll post it again here for you. I hope you’re able to learn some from it, and also hope you never have the need to see a chiropractor.
There are 6 theories as to how the effect of Spinal Manipulative Therapy (SMT) is achieved...
      1. Restore full joint Range-of-Motion, promoting mobility, joint nutrient uptake and joint waste excretion. Joints are weirdly vascularized and must be moved in order to absorb nutrients and expel waste through positive/negative pressures. Having a fully available range of motion would increase the efficacy of loading following.
      2. Relax the musculature around the targeted structures. Special "Muscle Spindle" Cells (a type of mechanoreceptor - responding to mechanical/manual input) are shown to relax when exposed to high velocity low amplitude thrusts, aka SMT. This is why we see muscle relax after treatment.
      3. Shut down the nociceptive (pain) nerve fibres being activated. Mechanoreceptors also inhibit "C" nerve fibers, which promote nociceptive (pain) neuron firing. Turning off these interneurons "turns off" our pain nerves.
      4. Release formed joint adhesions from restricting mobility. Like muscle, it is possible for joint capsular tissue to adhese/tighten up due to exudate secreted by nearby capillaries. A manual force may release these adhesions in the same way a massage does for muscle.
      5. Release trapped mensicoids (connective tissue) from within the targeted joint capsule. All of our joints have meniscal/adipose (fat) tissue present. In some cases of trauma, it could be possible that these tissues become "trapped" between articulating surfaces. Adjusting gives these tissues an opportunity to escape their pinched state.
      6. Stimulate endorphin (natural painkiller) production. This one is trickier to observe and contradictory in the evidence since it is very difficult to study different "dosages" of manipulation, but endorphins are released during any pleasurable or "thrilling" activity. Think massages, exercise, or sex. These endorphins inhibit pain perception once again, and could also play a role in the benefits of SMT.
Hope that helps! Have a great day :)
