Hi. Thanks for the tips and ideas. Some I already considered, but some are new ideas. Thanks for that. Btw. The most I think about is how to integrate the GlenGoyne Distillery in my planning the best. 🤣I like good Scottish Single Malt Whisky and when I go to Scotland I need to visit one or two Distilleries. It is good, that on West Highland Way there are only two Distilleries. GlenGoyne in the beginning and BenNevis at the End. So I plan to see both. Greetings from Poland.
You are a very cute and absolutely lovely lady. Thank you for the helpful and valuable tips for my WHW soon. You are a hidden gem on RUclips! Thank you again for your effort.
I'm 3 seconds in & had to pause!!! We drive up from Cambridgeshire in 3 days time & I'm so excited!!! I'll take any tips you can throw at me. Thanks xxx
Elo from guy and em =). My bites cleared up after 2 days and didnt bother me. We used skin so soft. Ems bites still havent recovered but getting there but they were really itchy for her. Ems feet nearly have recovered. Keep up the good work. X
Whooo!! Elo from Northamptonshire :-) I will sub to your channel Guy, it was a real pleasure walking with you two. Glad to hear Em's feet are much better.
You had some good tips there! 😁👍 Have you heard of the National trail in Scotland? Goes from Southern Scotland up to the North and is about 850km. I think it combines diffrent trails. 😁 All the best. Kaat
Yep - it includes sections of the Cape Wrath trail which is super challenging. I'm not sure that I'm up for that quite yet! When I go back to Scotland, I will avoid midgey season for sure! Thanks for commenting Kaatje. x
Tip 1. People do not fail to complete the trail, they simply do not complete it. Failure is when you don't try. When a reporter asked, "How did it feel to fail 1,000 times?" Edison replied, "I didn't fail 1,000 times. The light bulb was an invention with 1,000 steps. There is a next time, a little wiser.
Why tonnes ppl bring tips and tricks to succesful hike the WHW? I mean come on that way is so easy that u even can hike that trail without any "tipps and tricks to hike it successfully"...
These are the best bits of advice ive heard.
Love when people do videos loaded with info like yours to help other hikers out! Great job!
Thanks 🙏. I wish I’d known some of this stuff before walking the trail so it’s great to pass it on. Happy Hiking 🥾- Julia

9:52 They’re feeding the wild deer? From a conservation perspective i find that to be a shame.

What would you recommend to ease midge frenzy in June?

@@TheAdventureGeek and when is the midget saison?
@@StepsbyKaatje May to September.
@@Raymond-yj2vp That means the whole summer... 😏
Love the tips but I'll never need them Julia. Lol
No - I doubt you will use the "what's in the box" for next week's video either, but I hope to put a smile on your face. 😃

100% agree. I used the wrong language in that bit.
Where did you go to get the first passport stamp in milngarvie ?
From memory it was a mill house shop near Tescos. I can’t remember the name of it though. It sold nick nacks.
I m scared of midges, don't want to be angry for them..
