- Long story short, my big sister used to be a huge fan of Monster High when she was younger. She used to have a Monster High bed, a book, we used to go on the website together sometimes and we got a Draculaura and Frankie Stein doll.
(Fun Fact: I lost one of Frankie’s detachable hands.)
She was more of the Monster High fan than me in our childhood, but now that she’s into anime and I’m into whatever, I am taking that number one spot now!
Anyways, now that I’m grown up (or at least a teenager) I was able to see the savagery of Abbey Bominable 😎. There’s nothing much else to say but hope you enjoy!

Love abby, straight to the point, strong (physically and mentally), doesn't let emotions overwhelm her easily and has a good heart :D i miss the old monster high cuz we used to get pretty good characters like this and robecca steam

I actually agree with Abby’s love advice better then Cupid’s
If your partner is making you feel uncomfortable, no matter if it’s just jokes, you shouldn’t try to laugh them off and pretend you don’t mind them
You should tell your partner immediately that what they’re doing is making you feel uncomfortable and to please stop doing that
If if they get offended for what you said or get angry at you, then they’re truly not your “loved one”
Otherwise they would’ve understood your feelings and stop on what they were doing that made you uncomfortable
Exactly any good partner would rather change and become the best versions of themselves for their loved ones than be stuck in their old ways and ignore all the wrong doings they ever done.

@Luna Redelvour Hi if you don’t mind me asking, how so? Growing up I have 3 immigrant friends in my friend group, (we’re all in college now). One of them is Russian and from what she told me it was difficult at first, but after meeting our friends it made whatever problems she faced easier to deal with. I know it’s not the same for everyone but I just wanted to get a different perspective if you don’t mind me asking?
@@natew9904 in Russia, social culture is extremely different. Like Abbey, people are much more direct and straightforward about what is bothering them and if they don't like the person. In America on another hand, people don't tell that to eachother. This creates many fake friendships and trust issues, because you never know if the girl smiling at you talks stuff about your behind your back
@CherrySpectre Yeah that’s true, but honestly I think it’s not so much an American thing as so as it varies person to person, because I’ve came across many people who’re very blunt, honest, and real(maybe a bit too real for their own good lol). Plus from what it looks like in my generation everyone seems to value honesty and transparency, and especially nowadays in my opinion it’s kind of easy to see through the B.S of someone.

I recently just started watching a bit of monster high and that moment really gave those vibes
She's always been my favourite. Got her doll as a gift at one point and lost her right arm the next day. Then I lost the doll a month later and I haven't been able to find it and I kick myself for that almost every day. Still have her purple hat and fluff dress in a box somewhere in case the universe feels extra kind someday.
Is it common for Abbey dolls to lose limbs? I had one and one day one of her legs fell off at the knee.

@@veronicawexel1291 yikes. i personally grew up bot having as much money as we do now so the only dolls we ever had from mh were clawdeen, draculaura, and lagoona (I HAD A HUGE CRUSH ON HER WTH 😭😭) but later on with the winter outfits my younger sisters got her doll and her hande kept popping off? it was like the eah dolls though so it was easy to pop back on, just noticed that too lol

My absolute favorite character! Although I realize that the reason I liked her so much is because she didn’t put up with anyone’s BS and no one was allowed to bully her, something at the time I struggled with as a kid. She really was the role model that made me stick up for myself and become more direct about my thoughts and feelings
I was never really a Monster High fan, but from the limited stuff I saw Abby was easily my favorite. In a show that had a lot of drama, I think it was just refreshing to see a character who was so blunt and straight to the point that she cut through all the drama.

I am 1st gen-American with fully Russian parents and grandparents. I had Abby as my first monster high doll cuz she spoke like my family! Really makes it easier to be an immigrant kid :)
I remember as a kid I asked my parents for an Abbey doll (context: I literally never asked for toys) and my friends mocked me for a while cause my favorite monster high wasnt draculaura, frankie or the common ones (idk if I spelled it correctly, I'm Spanish) glad i stood strong as an Abbey stan cause now I really see how badass she is
