Santa Clara University: Welcome Weekend 2024 Highlights

Ready, set, welcome to SCU! Another exciting year at Santa Clara awaits every Bronco, both new and returning. But first, take a look back at Welcome Weekend 2024. Over the weekend, #SCU2028 and incoming transfer students got their first glimpse of #LifeAtSCU as they made new connections, thanked and said goodbye to loved ones, and settled into their new homes on campus.

→About the Class of 2028 and Incoming Transfer Students:
Santa Clara University welcomes 1,800 first-year students and incoming transfer students when undergraduate classes resume Monday, Sept. 23.
The Class of 2028 was selected from an unprecedented pool of nearly 20,000 applicants, the largest to date. Students hail from 46 states and 30 countries or regions across the world. Additionally, 54% of the incoming first-year and transfer students identify as persons of color. Eighteen percent are the first in their family to attend a four-year college or university, and 7% are international.
