If you are general engineer male, then forget about it, not only fms but any other good college as well
Bhai 2023 ki placements mein to lag rha ki iift delhi piche chorh dega mdi ko. Because new average of iift is 29.1 lakh. Aur top 25 percent bachon ka avg 46.9lakh jo ki xlri ke top25 percent se bhi jyada hai i.e.46.7lakh. Is saal mujhe to lg rha ki iift clear winner hoga in terms of placements. Aur agr kisi ko iift delhi mile to vo toh definitely better option hai than mdi.

median is more important, and their median is more or less same, as far as the top 25% is concerned, that's because iift gets more international placements than mdi which skews the top packages because international placements pay more (due to higher cost of living abroad)
@@fallenneberu3422 International offers are just 17 this year and if you compare it with 25percent of batch strenght i.e. 108 for a batch of 430 students. So think logically still 91 students other than international offers get that high package. Even highest international offer is 85 lacs. Just consider avg of these 17 offer to be 60 lacs, then also avg of remaining 25percent is come approx 44.5 lacs i.e still much higher than mdi top 25 percent
@@fallenneberu3422 and one more thing this statistics is of combined placement of iift delhi and kolkata. And if you consider iift delhi placement , it should be higher by minimum of 3lacs from combined avg that came out to be 29.1+3=32.1lac. And for iift kolkata it should be less than combined avg by 3lacs i.e 29.1-3=26.1lacs. This calculation is done considering nearly equal batch size of delhi and kolkata. So think wisely iift delhi >>mdi gurgaon. And see iim guy recent ranking of tier 1 colleges you will know which is better according to him now
@@SinghT13 it doesn't matter if there are only 17 offers, the point is that average skews the top quartile data, why would i consider the average of those 17 offers to be 60? and why would delhi's placements be higher than the average by minimum of 3?

@@pranithalunavath1814 FMS is top 5th/6th college and iift doesn't even come in top 10. Also fees at FMS is only 2lacs where iift is 20+ lacs. Average package of FMS is way higher than iift so overall FMS and iift isn't even a competition.
@@nikhilniki9333 but the fee is less for a reason, FMS doesn't have hostels at all. You have to live outside all by yourself. And if you want to stay in a house which is as luxurious as the hostels it costs the same. and there's no campus life at FMS not does it have any student exchange program or port visits like iift.
@@pranithalunavath1814 even after accomodation the cost comes to around 6lacs (2lacs fees+ 4 lacs for 2 years accomodation) well you can't get everything, FMS doesn't have a huge campus but still most go to B schools for good placements. Also student exchanges are just vacations nobody goes there to study. I have many seniors in IIM ABC who went to Europe schools for exchange and they all opted for collegs that didn't have compulsory attendance so they just travelled around Europe in that trimester. Just go to Europe trip with the fees money you saved by going to FMS instead of iift lol. You could compare FMS with IIM Lucknow or XLRI but iift 😂. Show me one person who left FMS for iift. Some people leave IIM ABC for FMS due to ROI.
Sir 12th ka 93.8percent cbse ka iim Indore k selection procedure k liye kaafi hai?
No ! only CBSE percentage will not gonna help to get into IIM Indore, chances are strong to get a call only if you have appeared for CAT and secured its eligible percentage.
