      @@therwandannoble2034 - Africans can always create their own laptops. if they're given the necessary tools they can make one. You should study a little bit about economics then you would understand what I mean by buying and seeing African things as good as Western things.

      @David Miles yet, they had choices to redrawn and stand their ground, and make better decision. Chinese was in the same situation now, they had arrived on the continent, and We are ready to sold away and we shouldn't blamed no one but our thick brain. We had good wise advisor, let listen and make used of what we had...

    • @noahbowie5985
      @noahbowie5985 5 лет назад

      @David Miles undemocratic countries such as Ethiopia are transitioning towards democracy, some have already arrived. There are pockets where corruption has been largely dealt with and over time those pockets will grow. The African Union has taken steps to crack down on corruption in its member states, which is all of Africa. So while a lot of work needs to be done to bring the dark days of the last few decades in Africa to a close it's clear that progress is being made in many parts.

    You have to ban foreign imports. There is a lot of dumping that is killing African industries.
    Dangote, Africa's richest man got so rich in part because Nigeria banned importation of cheaper cement. Most of the wealth Dangote has accumulated would have gone to China without cement ban.
    Now because of his wealth, Dangote has diversified heavily into other areas, such as agriculture, oil refinery, telecom, port operations, etc.

    The world is afraid of Africa, simply because her resources are not limited, and because of this, Africa could, and will become the very next super power. The world knows this, and this is why they all scramble to keep their hand on her. But, it's only a matter of time before Africa's power becomes unstoppable. As with those of her decent around the world. It's past due for Africa to rule with great success. She once ruled, and will rule again.

    Traceability is also a serious challenge to know the true origin of the goods coming through close borders. Yes EU countries trade up to 65% within the block however it is easy to trace the origin of the goods and there is also a quota to protect local industries for certain products particularly food dumped on their markets .

    • @showman7632
      @showman7632 5 лет назад +1

      Traceability of goods will increase as trade increase. Europe also went through the process. The opportunity here is Africa only need to adopt systems in place to improve visibility in its new trade network.

    Isn't this a matter of education? Do Africans understand the relationship between trading within the continent and how it benefits their economic status? You reshape mindsets with education. This type of economics can easily be taught in school. Why would anybody have to LET Africa trade with Africa unless Africa has no control over its trade. The governments within the continent should have already figured this out. So what's the REAL stop?

    Why is something that is so logical seemingly the very highly intelligent thing to do so difficult to architect why hasn't this been going on all over Africa from the top to the bottom already.
    I am so mystified at the current trends on the continent of mother Africa of the things that her leaders have allowed to go on and go unchecked pertaining to its natural wealth and its human wealth.
    After all of these decades and hundreds of years why wouldn't this already be everyday common happenings on the continent I just really need someone to answer that question.

    Its about time for African nations to trade with each other cooperatively for mutual advantage and mutual growth (esp with the spread of democracy and international law enforcement)! So much natural wealth and potential over there in the African continent. Exploited for mutual gain by Africans themselves, then Europeans and Americans and Indians etc (not just communist-Chinese) will be trying hard to immigrate to there to live and raise their families. The rise of the Sub-Saharan African continent is at hand over the coming decades and centuries (as the United States of America gradually but increasingly becomes a lawless, impoverished Latin American country without a clearly defined southern border or illegal-immigration enforcement per liberal-socialists/progressive political influence and growth with the extremely rapid Latino-population growth).

It put an end to the bribery and corruption. Delay at the border will be a the of the past. Boarders need to go electronic / computerized reduce the paperwork, helps to reduce opertunity for corruption.

    I think as an African-American or an American descendant of slaves the constant confusion on the global playing field of the status of Africa is at times seriously confusing and disheartening,. I finally understand that unlike the diaspora where we consider ourselves all to be the same because we are in Africa it is the tribal separations but it still doesn't make sense because like in Ireland yeah colors your kelp are you Kilt is a family name which is like tribal but even if you come from a different tribe you are still the same people and in Africa I think they have the languages and the kente cloth and the flags to separate the different tribes but they are still all the same people so it's I don't want to say crazy because it's obviously the practice but why wouldn't you have a enter Africa everything I just believe that there's so much foreign meddling that I don't even think Africa or Africans can trace back before the Europeans arrived how business was constructed and they just need to get back to their roots and The Business of running the continent and Africans seem to think that their individual country separates them from the continent and that's crazy that's crazy because there's no other continent on God's green earth that belong to the black man and the black woman and for them to be so reckless what the continent of mother Africa all these hundreds of years and continue after 60 years of Independence for most of them to practice such Reckless Reckless management of the only home we have on God's green earth and two it's almost Savage to allow so much famine so much hunger starvation so much alack when the god of Heaven the Creator gave you this whole continent Good and Plenty the milk and honey if you will of most continents he gave the black man in the black woman Africa and what have you done you have allowed the Europeans with every ill intention you can imagine on the continent. They have made a mockery and a mess of everything. Africa has allowed the foreigners to rename places in Africa like the Middle East no such place exists that is actually a part of Africa like the lake Victoria's and mountains and all of these borders that are not real before the Caucasian showed up these 55 States or Borders or countries did not exist and so the first thing or one of the many things that Africa and Africans and the diaspora need to do is get that eraser out and erase all of that foreign Caucasian Mukery.
    So I like the title let Africa trade with Africa but also let Africa debug from the marbling of the foreign invasion in every country in I wish the Europeans and the Caucasians and Asians would go away just go away for like I don't know 100 years and allow the indigenous black people of the continent of Africa and their descendants in the diaspora to reorganize and re-educate and rebuild and unify.
    the Europeans and Asians will never admit There ill intentions or they're greedy and corrupt intentions but their history proceeds them and Africa needs a time to clear out the nonsense as intelligent free-thinking people come together unify and create that Africa that the whole world will be envious of because the indigenous black people and The Descendants throughout the diaspora can make a better Africa and Africa that sustains all of its people on the continent it houses it clothes it feeds its medicates and educates and provides economic growth it provides everything essential to life and prosperity for its own people. Oh and of course a military Bar None that can protect all of the outer borders and ports and beaches as well as the inner boundaries but Africa must have a military that can protect it it needs protection from the west and the east and all of those in-between

    The world bank and IMF as instruments of economic colonialism of western powers has historically discouraged trade between former colonies not just in Africa but all over the world.
    They were established to keep the former colonies as economically weak so that the colonial powers could continue to pillage their resources while keeping their economy in dire conditions that they are totally dependent on whatever the west decide pay for their raw materials.
    Then they serve as dumping ground for their worn and aged equipment.
    Which is sold to them at very high price. Followed by the lack if spare parts and maintenance skills.
    Now that Africans
