Shouldn't player placed leaves never decay? Maybe it's because you placed them using litematica? Do any other leaves that you place without using the blueprint decay? Because if I'm understanding correctly in order to place blocks mid air and also automatically place directional blocks facing the right direction without having the player to manually place them in that direction maybe the mod uses some kind of /setblock command and it forgets to remove the tag from leaves that makes them decay because the game thinks they are naturally spawned leaves? If that's not the case then your game is actually broken because I swear player placed leaves are never supposed to decay this is so weird
