    in indonesia and thailand this car is very popular among tuners because the engine tunability, so most perfomance mods for the fortuner are made in indo and thailand, so i think the next mod for this fortuner should be increasing the engine power

    Thoroughly enjoyed your video. I just tried my crusade on a little off beaten track using the 4H and 4Lo this week to a campsite. You sure can feel the power go through any dirt obstacles with ease as you have demonstrated. Very happy with this car and looking forward to taking it to new adventures with the family. Thanks for the video.

    Decent review mate, i own a 22 GXL fortuner. The updated 1GD goes hard whilst being easy on fuel. A capable and good value family touring 4x4. Starting to see more of them on the road these days. These have been the no1 selling ute based suv in Thailand and Philippines for over a decade now

    thanks Denny, they are a nice smaller sized wagon, you are seeing more of them around and with what you have done to it makes it a very good every day driver and weekend off-roader , i did see that this year it got a little bit more towing capacity to 3100kg that makes it even more practical. shell is very game letting you out with her car 🙂

    I have a 2015 fortuner the Gen before this, it has a powerful 4 litre v6 and it's basically a sleeper. And a monster off-road without a single mod done to it, it's a full time 4x4 with 4hl 4h(high) and 4l(low) an unbelievable machine

    Hey mate, love the video. I'm about to pick up my new Fortuner in a couple of weeks and can't wait now.
    Did you need to do any body mount chopping or have you got any scrubbing with that tyre size?

    turn on the power mode and put the stick at S and shift gear when you want to get more torque by doing this the vehicle is at its full potential

      Thanks, yes good question, so she only ever has it in ECO, and the screen is always high 11s low 12s litres per hundred, doing school runs and city traffic, much better when we take it on freeway though, but rarely sees that.

    Hey mate, what rear shocks/springs are you running? I currently have Dobinson IMS and find the rear a little to harsh even with the lowest rated king springs. I have been looking for the perfect rear shocks

    • @TeamBulletOffroad
      @TeamBulletOffroad  Год назад

      I chose medium duty coils and the matching Tom shock to suit rear coils, that way its not that hard for her onroad but then I have the airbags when I need it to "work"

      Yes, I did enjoy the video because almost every Aussie Car Reviewer has only negative reviews for the Toyota Fortuner especially on-road ride and comfort. I own a 2022 model. I am absolutely happy and find the Fortuner a good value for money.

    On a stock fortuner, think you could fit 275/65 R17s on a 8.5x17 rim with a +25 offset without scrubbing?

    Hey mate, love your videos.
    Got a quick question. I have a 2016 GX, and recently installed EFS 2 inch lift.
    I am thinking of changing from standard tyres to 32s or bigger than my standard tyres. Is there anything that I need to do before this can happen? Do you recommend 1 inch body lift or anything else? Just getting into 4x4 so still learning. Thanks mate, will be waiting for a reply.

    • @TeamBulletOffroad
      @TeamBulletOffroad  8 месяцев назад +1

      I wouldn't do a body lift, not on that sort of new school vehicle, the tyres on my wife's probably biggest you will get a-legally and b-without major scrubage. Maybe new upper control arms and a really good wheel alignment with a drop diff kit, could push that front diff more forward, give cal-offload a call, speak to Cal or Jackson, tell them Denny from Team Bullet said to chat.. www.caloffroad.com.au
