Dan Huff… a legend….. one of the greats of all time…. I was always awed by his playing since the early 80s, when not many knew who he was…. Now Dan Huff is a legendary Nashville producer, not many know of his great vocals, a monster L.A. session musician, and then back to Nashville as an A lister session musician, where he began making a name for himself. He’s always been an incredible player even his early Nashville sessions before taking up the Steve Lukather mantle in L.A. … now he is revered by many musicians
Tom Bukovac has a picture of Him, Dann Huff, and Steve Lukather all on stage together for a jam. That's like 4000 albums worth of guitarists on one stage.
One of greatest players ever, not a lot of people know who he is,a rare talent, virtuoso guitarist and song writer anyone looking to some great guitar work listen to some giant records you won't be disappointed you will be inspired
Yes! Have you seen Amy Grant laser disc live concert? I believe that is him there playing this song with MWS and Shane Keister on keys. Epic guitar and keyboard solos.
@@EvilTheOne Will do! Definitely familiar with some of her top hits.... And I didn't know she used Dan! So it will be nice to hear him again on something fresh
Thank you for this. Sounds great. There is a track called lift me up from Mecca in which Dann features heavily however I cannot find the dammm thing anymore. Any ideas?
Dann Huff is awesome - but, either you got it wrong or wikipedia did! The electric guitar credit for the song "Lead Me On" goes to Jerry McPherson - although Dann does get a credit on that song for playing 12-string.
I'd LOVE to hear ALL of Huff's great work on AG's records;I just don't wanna have to TOLERATE AG's singing🤮to do it!!DH also did great solo's on the song's;Visions-Russ Taff,Secret Thoughts-Benny Hester,Song in the night-Leslie Phillips.Place in this world-Michael W,I will not be shaken-Vince Ebo.(Vince was an awesome dude👌👍!)

👍🏿
My favourite guitarist. I also enjoy Gordon Kennedy and Jerry McPherson. These players have shaped how I play today.
Jerry did a lot of work for Michael w Smith too.
Dan Huff... one of my favourite studio guitarist. Hi from Papua New Guinea 🇵🇬
Best of the best!!!!
I have always thought that the solo from "Where Do You Hide Your Heart" was one of the very best Rock solos ever.

I cannot agree more
Perfection by any measure!
Dann huff é foda demais 🤘🏼🔥
Not one person has acknowledged his vocals and guitar for his own band Giant, which is on another level all together….
.......um he is known and loved............just sayin...........
Awesome
Great compilation! You could do a part II as there are so many more solos to highlight on Amy Grants records alone.
Dann is the man!
His guitar magic on Leslie Phillips 1984 record "Dancing with Danger" was also 🔥 🔝
If you get the chance, you need to listen to Kathy Troccoli's 'Stubborn Love', 'Heart and Soul' and 'Images (which was co-produced by Huff)'.

@@EvilTheOne will do, I probably know these tunes, but have not heard them in decades and did not realize that Dan was the player!
Thanks for posting this! Sounds great!
Magic Guitar

Essa versão da primiera música (in live) não é o Dan.
Where is he?
What is the name of each song?
