From director Andrew Haigh. One night in his near-empty tower block in contemporary London, Adam (Andrew Scott) has a chance encounter with a mysterious neighbor Harry (Paul Mescal), which punctures the rhythm of his everyday life. As a relationship develops between them, Adam is preoccupied with memories of the past and finds himself drawn back to the suburban town where he grew up, and the childhood home where his parents (Claire Foy and Jamie Bell), appear to be living, just as they were on the day they died, 30 years before.
Cast: Andrew Scott, Paul Mescal, Jamie Bell, and Claire Foy

Put your schedule on hold for the rest of the day after seeing this movie. It rocked something so deep within me, I feel like the center of my psychic gravity has shifted. Stunning.
You must be a rock.
Yes, it should come with a warning
The day? Lucky you if you got back to reality after a day. I'm destroyed
I lost my parents at a very young age so this film really rocked me. Literally has now for weeks. They were good parents, I loved them and they loved me. But when I think of them, or look at photos of them, now that I am past the ages they were at their deaths, I have for some time (years) this overwhelming desire to think of them as adult people, not just mom and dad. I speculate what they must have been like had they been friends I once knew, or someone I maybe worked with. But most of all what they would think of my life, the choices good and bad I have made. So I feel like this film came right out of my own head. Crazy I know.
Yes, you have to open yourself up to what is happening.
I got to see an advance screening of this film a few weeks ago and it absolutely destroyed me. So many of the conversations he has with his parents, and the things they said back to him, were things that I needed to hear for myself and my own experiences. It made me cry several times watching it. That conversation he has with his dad when the dad says "Sorry I never came into your room when you were crying" and the last conversation he has with them both were like getting hit by a truck for me. It was an experience that is helping me on my own healing journey. I cannot wait to see this again.

How this movie didn't get Andrew Scot an Oscar nomination is beyond my understanding.
I don't understand. He's other level
I love this movie so much. Very moving.
Soooooooooo boring.

I count three times I cried with a smile my wisdom watçh how old you are before committing to a relationship you don't want to loose your life to some one who might walk out into yet another relationship as you are alone at almost the end of your life mine started at 21 and ended at40 I thought not to share this but if it can help someone not have to go it I hope better for them sincerely just me.
Then all else comes about , gosh.
If anyone has walked out on this film or completely shut down; it's ok!
Excellent movie.
What if you could go back & meet your parents, all of you around 29-30.

Uhhhhhhhh the gayness 😂😢😮😅 hahahahahahaha
The miracle club is a terrible movie from Columbia searchlight pictures.
THANK YOU. I can't believe I paid dollars to see this dross. Why does this English couple have a son with a Midwestern, American accent?
He is Irish, his accent is Irish !!
Please explain why he has an Irish accent in this film when his parents are British?? Not the best acting, I would say. @@tracyhowe3439
And Adam, the character that Andrew Scott plays spent much of his childhood in Dublin.@@tracyhowe3439
I surely wish I stayed a stranger to this film. I saw it tonight and it is so boring and way too long. And why does this English couple have a son with a Midwestern, American accent?
think you walked into the wrong theatre, mate.
If you mean Andrew Scott, that's an IRISH accent, me lad! (His character, Adam, spent much of his youth in Dublin, as is made clear in the film.)
You can't really tell as he mumbles through most of his lines. I still stand that this film is too long and boring.@@treesny
I felt like it moved so fast that I wished it was longer and he had more time and more scenes with all of them. Different strokes.
There are so many magical moments in this film. The pinnacle, for me, was when Adam's mother was singing along with the tune, "You were always on my mind". She appeared to be directing the lyrics directly toward Adam and they were so personally relevant. Adam hearing the words seems almost embarrassed to hear, yet overwhelmed with appreciation at the same time. Then she gives him the most loving kiss a mother could give. It was pure joy when Adam's dad joins in on the song. It was either a cherished memory or Adam imagining a time that never happened. Either way, it was beautiful.
Another highlight was when Adam is asked to pick a song, and he starts with the lyrics to Power of Love. The scene gradually turns to a bright light as it gets smaller and smaller. Loved this movie!
