THE MOST AMAZING VIDEO I HAVE SEEN.
I HAVE NEVER EVER SEEN A VIDEO WITH THAT LEVEL, A WORKSHOP FULL OF WORKS WELL DONE, A WORKSHOP THAT IS COMPARABLE WITH AN OPERATING ROOM. SPECTACULAR. EVERYTHING ORGANIZED, EVERYTHING CLEAN, EVERYTHING ORDERED, IS THE SKY OF WORKSHOPS HERE, ON EARTH.

Just amazed at the knowledge and talent. My dad would eat this up if still with us. Born in 1922 he saw so much of this development, well at least the post 1935 or so. Now I know why he talked fondly of this era. He only owned the common man cars of course but he knew of these cars.

I've worked in car restoration, but not to this level! I have had the pleasure (no sarcasm, it was a privilege) to work on a restored 31 cadillac V12 roadster which had multiple issues with running and braking and was able to fix pretty much all of it to the point the care was not only drivable, but reliable. learned a lot about how companies designed ignition, charging and braking systems on that one. Great video, such a wonderful shop, thanks for making this!

Such an informative site. Well written (or should I say great extemporaneous narration) and most informative. Each show teaches me something new as well as answering many questions I've always had about the restoration process. Excellent, and among the very best, if not the best, of classic car sites. Your intimacy with every aspect of a vehicles construction is obvious, and the graceful ease of your presentation is rare indeed. And you seem to like Robert Frost, a real virtue in my book! Keep up the great work.

THAT MAN HAS THE BEST JOB IN THE WORLD!!! RESTORING BRILLIANT ART; ENGINEERING; DESIGN; AND A WONDERFUL PIECE OF HISTORY SHOWING WHEN THE US WAS A REAL FREE AND UNENCOMBERED AUTO BUILDERS WITH NO RESTRAINT ON EMISSIONS OR SAFETY RESTRICTIONS. SUCH AS BUZZERS GOING OFF TO DRIVE YOU NUTS. I GREW UP IN THE LATE 30'S40S NEXT DOOR TO A FUNERAL HOME THAT OWNED TWIN 1937 PACKARD'S.ONE A LIMOUSINE V12 AND A HENNY PACKARD V12 HEARSE. THE LIMO ALSO DOUBLED AS AN AMBULANCE WHICH HAD A SIREN AND USED TO TRANS PORT MENTALLY CHALLENGED PATIENTS TO THE ASYLUM.I SNUCK INTO THE GARAGE ONE DAY AND CLIMBED INTO THE LIMO/AMBULANCE /THEY SAW ME DO IT AND AS I WAS SITTING IN THE DRIVERS SEAT THEY SET OF THE ALARM SCARED ME TO DEATH AND ISTARTED TO CRY WHALING AWAY WITH THE SIREN. ONE DAY THEY WERE GETTING READY FOR A FUNERAL AND TOLD ME TO GET IN THE LIMO AS THEY HAD TO GAS IT UP AND GOT A RIDE FOR A MILE OR SO AND BACK. LUXURY AT ITS BEST AS THE FLOOR WAS INLAID WITH 8 IN. OF MARBLE TO ADD WEIGH SO AS TO MAKE IT RIDE SMOOTH.

What sort of modifications and or upgrades are allowed so as not to be knocked points in a show judging?
Keep up the nice work, it is appreciated.

The Packard 12 display engine sounds interesting. I think it would be even more interesting if it was fully assembled on one cylinder bank and unassembled on the opposite side. That way people could get an understanding of how some of the very old engines worked.
