I have looked at several videos and nobody says how to adjust the primary and secondary mixture screws. Mine has needles that are not removable and the engine shuts off after a few seconds if completely seated. I have them set at two turns out, it idles good now but I am guessing at the two turns out. What is the setting and or how does one adjust? Thanks
I have this carburetor on my Isuzu pickup, & wondering if you would be able to troubleshoot as to where my engines idles fine, but once a step of the pedal (anything above 1500 rpm) the engine bogs down and dies...? I've adjusted the choke plate, and could rev to higher rpm's while sitting, but then once again it bogs down and wants to die when driven; as if it is fuel starvation. I want to check if that choke spring may have popped out of the hole, being I've just learn about it, thank you. any advice/info would help. Mahalo!
Hi Jim, I'm trying to figure out where the dust seal plate and plug go. They are two little white plastic pieces. I didnt see you install or replace in the video
xlargest where the rod that operates the choke through the carburetor there is a plate with a hole that goes into a slot in the lid of the carburetor. Then the plug goes in that slot
We sell the bearing kit. We figured it out so you do not have to. You can order on the phone, 604 879 6288 or go to weberjets.com/index.php?page=shop.product_details&flypage=flypage.tpl&product_id=64&category_id=4&keyword=bearing&option=com_virtuemart&Itemid=2
we might have that diaphragm. i think gas would come out of the float bowl if you did not use it. you might make a block off plate or plug all the outlets
+Jim Hilton Thanks for the view. I would like to reiterate finer details of assembly. I started rebuilding mine last night. Of course the first thing this am I moved things around and lost track of which jets, etc.. went in on which side. A few more videos are in store. LOL
would have loved to have seen you actually do each bit rather than cut each sequence and say it is magically done
Quite skiing stuff! People watch these to see how things go together. Not what they look like done.
Useful video, thanks for putting in the effort

where do you connect the water choke hoses? Anywhere in the cooling circuit, or in a specific place?
