That scene in Rebels was incredible. I never thought Maul's death would hit me in the feels so hard, but when he says: "He . . will . . avenge . . us . . . . " 😢
mauls fight with ashoka makes so much sense to me, especially in that moment the pain and anger she would've been feeling after maul told her something she simply could not accept. she was definitely channeling some dark side energy, on top of her already mounting disillusionment with the jedi order. i love little bits of star wars like this that really make you think about the psyche of the character
Vader suffered intensely both physically and mentally for 20 years, but he had happy times as Anakin, and he had relationships with other people. Maul didn't suffer as physically like Vader, but he never had a truly happy moment, and only had maybe two genuine relationships with other people. It's a bit hard to say who had it worse in that regard.
Anakin and maul were slaves from birth. Grievous was free at birth. Maul was a slave to torment and pain from the darkside. Anakin was a physical slave but id argue mauls upbringing experience was worse. Plus atleast anakin was freed and he found happiness for a little while falling head over heals for padme. Maul however was abused as a child by everyone he ever met. And sith training isnt like jedi. Sith get their power from the bad emotions and feelings. Basically the more pain and agonony the sith feels, the stronger he can be. And maul had plenty to spare. Not a good way to live.
For the contest: My lightsaber would be gold and white. Like Exar Kun's the saber hilt is short but double-bladed. Both lightsaber crystals would be exposed at either end of the saber hilt. The blade would be turquoise, the colour which according to your quiz bests suits my personality. I also really liked the idea of the Ettan crystals (I'm not sure if this is how you spell it) that you talked about on your shorts channel. As they can absorb energy from the enemies lightsaber this would suit my more aggressive style used in my double bladed saber.
Honestly, my ideal lightsaber might not be for everybody, but I would go for the lava saber. I may get hurt, but if I had the force I could just use the force so sling the lava from the blade onto my opponent.
INCREDIBLE video! Darth Maul was AWESOME! But let's face facts. Maul was never a "Sith Lord". As part of Darth Bane's Grand Plan he wasn't even a true Sith Apprentice. Darth Maul was a true Sith, but just as a Sith Assassin. The genius of The Rule of Two was that there were never any more than 2 TRUE Sith, which led let dark side practicioners hide in plain sight, eventually leading to Darth Studious, under Darth Plagueis, literally ruling the Galaxy. That was the entire point of the Grand Plan, which worked perfectly. It only took a thousand years to get a true Sith Lord sitting atop the throne of the universe. For anybody and everybody that will scream that I'm wrong....instead of only watching TV shows, try reading a few books. I've read over 200 Star Wars novels and 4 of the best are "Darth Plagueis" by James Luceno and the absolutely brilliant Darth Bane trilogy by Drew Karpyshin. They explain and lay out the entire Grand Plan, with the Sith'ari eventually ruling everything
I really like the inquisitor emitter, and I’d love to see it on a thin-necked saber (like OWK Ep4). I think that would look sleek as. Pair it with a Proffie ofc 😊

😢
Love how he gets on to the point like straight away
The Clone Wars made me love Maul even more.
Well that and rebels made him an actual character instead of just a 1 dimensional sith assassin

criminally underrated video and channel. thanks for the video, my dude
appreciate that a lot! glad u enjoy :)
Darth Maul must have been the only character who's suffered as much as Vader.
I would say more
Maybe Grievous?
@@VadersFortress2 I have seen grievous his is not as bad in my opinion

What about Darth Sion?
My favorite Star Wars character, love his arc!
Your favorite arc is one that completely contradicts the movies. Gottcha. Not too bright, are you?
Thanks for recapping this story, such a great story
I got teared up from this great video
I would love more Zabrak lore. Their customs and history is fascinating
Thank you - that was beautiful... 😢❤
I had no idea that there was such much happening between sidious/maul’s duel and the siege of manadlore
I get to pick the movie tonight

Do a video on grievous or the grand inquisitor

I think my ideal lightsaber would be one like maul’s inquisitor lightsaber the sleek yet menacing look is just amazing
They could have called him “The Phantom”….would have been a great callback to Episode 1
This is why everyone likes him
i never knew savage and maul were actual blood related brothers
Yep and there was a third one too if I remember
Honestly, my ideal lightsaber might not be for everybody, but I would go for the lava saber. I may get hurt, but if I had the force I could just use the force so sling the lava from the blade onto my opponent.
You forgot to mention that he killed his teenage love interest when he grew up and killed everyone in his school
Oh yeah that's crazy and interesting
A double blade with a blade with a gold color and you can see cyber and to little hand blade pls

You should read the wrath of Darth maul

Videos on Luke skywalker
TCW and Rebels completely contradicts the movies, which makes this whole video factually wrong. Basically the whole video is fake news.
