Seeing this character go from "haha im crazy" to "oh lordy how can I save her," was honestly a wild ride.I didn't think i'd get so invested in her. 'Remember Who You Are' is one of my favorites for sure.
You know, one touch I really like about Jinx's combat scene tracks is that they seem to use various clashing sound effects that sound *just* wrong enough to be noticeable without being actually bad, almost like Jinx herself is in this state of conflicting dissonance swinging from sweet-acting and innocent to outright omnicidal from half a decade's worth of untreated trauma and no healthy coping mechanisms available. Stands out particularly in "She's Back" with the strings and "Showdown" from when she and Vi are fighting the Firelights.
There’s so many layers that you don’t pick up on during the scenes, but just going back and hearing the tracks again and again, you’ll pick up new pieces. Some of the best sound design for a nine episode season.
It's interesting that they chose to associate Jinx with violins and droning synths that almost sound like something out of Blade Runner instead of music that's more upbeat. This, of course, highlights the tragedy of her character. Outwardly, she's "the crazy girl", but inside, she's hurting.

it's articulate, unnerving, with a sense of unease, dread, and mania rippling with despair and unbearable heartbreak.

Jinx is just the kind of character that we can't help but to cheer for.
