Throughout Viktors scenes, the toy boat theme with the violin solo is played. That’s his melody, and he was suffering alone by himself when that theme was played, the violin being the only instrument playing. At the very last scene with Viktor and Jayce, viktor says “you must go jayce.” When jayce touches viktors shoulder, the same violin solo is played, but this time with the rest of the orchestra joining it. no body talk to me

I can hear Powder's violin solo leitmotif in the vocal fragment from 13:32. Which means that Powder's theme has always been part of Silco's leitmotif, which makes the inclusion of this vocal fragment in "A Story of Opposites" musical foreshadowing.

Who else is returning here after his leitmotif plays in that final scene

Can you tell me which melody represents Jayce? I'm having difficulty finding that out. :/ Is it the main melody of "Our future is bright" at the end of the suite?

I may have this playing in a separate tab but I always know when First Steps is playing because I just stop what I'm doing and start choking up. One of my favourite scenes from season 1, stunning imagery with such a heavy emotional weight. Song complimented it perfectly.
