Great video ! I like backyard mechanics with simple hand tools for instructional purposes. Might mention: 82c=180f [lower] and 95c=203f [upper]. 12mm socket for all 4, thanks for mentioning as I was wondering until the end. 'Stant' also makes the same thermostat pair, but gasket is sold separately, unlike Cooling Depot sold as a complete set. UPDATE - 10.12.2022 finally completed the job. Heat shield bolts broke/stripped, so it made it much harder. I added blue thin layer of RTV silicone gasket sealer, though not required; but I am not doing this job a 2nd time. Did change the coolant change while at it with Prestone, left in the cooling system for 3 days to clean out the heater core too. Allow enough time, because its a fight with the bolts with heat shield not removed.
Hey there brother really awesome video tursn out my 2006 nissan both thermostats are goen did try to change that first one but the old one O Ring was totally torn down and breaking up the new one i got hda variety of O ringsi ndie its made by Gatez but none of them were large or thick as the original O ring so fluent was coming out after tighening thosoe 2 12mm bolts any clue what are the dimensions of the O Ring on 82 degrees thermostat ?
Gracias
I would think it would be similar. I have a lot more film on that unit and others being made this spring, summer. I hope you stay tuned. Thank you for commenting
You made it look easy. But I would have struggled with those stubborn bolts. Well done. Good clear instructions. An inspiration to us all.

Haha this is super helpful & useful.
As I watch this video and listen, I think of your cousin after a few drinks..., lol !
Thanka. Looks very similar to 2003...I"m assuming the process would be similar if not the same?

@@VPMLCA thanks! Logically - if the housing is intact/normal. Just change the thermostat and seals and gaskets and that's it right?
Thank you for this video! Need to go get parts for my T30 tomorrow and get my hands dirty…
I like the intro music
Nice
