I dont think £30,000 is utterly insane, what is insane is the price of most other EVs which are ridiculously high and out of many peoples budgets. I like this car though, its a real contender for my next EV.
Now if only the availability weren’t so bad… been informed 4 times by our local dealer that there are delays… ordered in December for delivery in March… current estimate is the end of July…. if they don’t delay it again….
That would be me. unfortunately without spending a good week editing the audio you always get a few crackles pops and a hum so popping some very quiet music can help to mask it (trust me its more annoying having those pops and squiggles). We have to use copyright free music too as licences start to get complicated. I will make sure to switch it up more in the future. Cheers for the feedback. David
Tesla's and even the big German manufactures have some are all of their cars built in china. Just saying. They are the most experience producers of EV in the world right now. ;)
Tesla is scaling up Giga Shanghai to produce 2 million cars a year the most productive factory in the world. CATL is building a 500 million USD plant right next to Giga Shanghai to send batteries right after qc to the tesla plant on a conveyor line. That plant will be the deathstar for Honda and Toyota. BYD offers a 500,000 km or 6 year warranty that it’s blade battery will not degrade down to less than 60% rated capacity. China’s ev market is bigger than the US and European market combined on a per unit basis. You know what you learn from making a lot of something? How to maintain quality and make it cheaper. So if you got an extra 20,000 euro in your pocket buy the non Chinese EV and satisfy your skepticism.
We really hope you enjoy this video. If you have any questions please let us know.
Does it have a heat pump for winter heating? That’s a game changer in terms of winter driving range in my opinion.
Why is there a manual handbrake?
How is the rear legroom? Is it comfortable for adults of average height?
Absolutely. No issues at all.
