My main things:
1. Drops for Lateral Water Hazards.. how this wasn't noticed early or corrected by developers is one of the biggest mysteries of all time
2. Deeper Career Mode
3. Eliminate ball types (like you said)
4. Separate Skill Levels for Ranked (like you said)
Everything else is pretty good. And 2K is far better than EA..

I think it’s coming out in January! WWE is the other big 2k money maker and that is out in March usually. Just my hunch! I think in October we will get official info!

3 things
First, I wish in practice mode you could set the wind to better understand how different balls flights compare in different conditions.
Second, we all know they have contracts with Titilist, Taylormade, Ping, and the other big brands. Why are the clubs limited for each brand? I should be able to pick any iron they have at the time.
Lastly, why can’t I bend my irons? If I want to add or subtract loft/lie angle to my clubs I should have that freedom.
On a similar note they should have loft, spin, launch angle, and descent angle listed along side of distance to give us a better idea for how different stuff impacts the numbers.

Great points! EA has the ability to adjust lofts. That would be a great addition to the game. I believe they don't have all models of irons because that is extra clubs they would have to scan and cost money they might not be willing to spend
The need to get rid of AUTO distance aim. You can't switch the thing off unless you have no assists.. really need to sort that..
By completely replacing the arcade game mechanics and bringing the graphics into the 21st century. That's how it can become the best golf game ever...
Honestly, you said some things that I never thought of before and it makes complete sense about when the next game could be released. If EA does not release another game next year (which I don't see them doing), having a PGA Tour 2K25 release for March - May 2025 is the perfect time to release it with the first major (The Masters) of the season in April. I found it kind of odd how TGC2019, 2K21, and 2K23 got released August-October, which is literally around the end of the PGA Tour Golf season and for most sport games like Madden, NHL, College football, MLB, they release it right before the new season starts so hopefully 2K will take this approach when releasing their next game. When I looked at the May and August 2024 Take Two Upcoming Pipeline, I just assumed they are delaying another year, which I am not disappointed because it will give them more time to develop the next game.
if they are delaying it a couple months/another year, I would not be surprised if they are doing a graphics engine update for current-gen only (XSX/PS5/PC) which is much needed. If they are doing this, I sure hope they update the graphics engine to Unreal Engine 5!! If they do and 2K25 is a current-gen game only, it will look great graphically. Now gameplay will be a different story but if they can update the graphics and keep the gameplay mechanics roughly the same as before with improvements, that would be huge!
Another thing that I would like to see is a more in-depth Career mode. Just like what you can do in societies (can fully customize and make your own PGA Tour Schedule with any course in the game, 2K Official or user created (RCR)), you can swap any course for the non-sponsored tournaments and majors! I believe this will allow you to play a lot of different courses throughout multiple seasons without it becoming so repetitive after a while, with the only a handful of courses you can swap for in 2K23
For the Season Pass, they need to do strictly golf brand items and apparel (ex: Nike, Callaway, PUMA) and have a fortnite style setup for the pass. You buy a form of in-game currency/coins like v-bucks and when you get the season pass, you can earn more in-game currency as you level up to either buy another season pass or DLC they could add into the game such as other equipment you can't get in the Pro Shop, historic golfers, and even fictional characters like Happy Gilmore/Shooter McGavin. I am not referring pay to win but taking the fortnite approach to it. I feel like this will naturally bring in more people to play the game and play it for longer periods of time than compared their previous games. ultimately, there should be the option to still receive in-game currency (like they currently have for leveling up, beating rivals, etc.) to earn things for no out-of-pocket cost in the Pro Shop and then have another form of in-game currency like v-bucks strictly for the season pass and any DLC they want to add in the game. If they can add good items to the season pass and for DLC, it will have the potential to be great money maker

I would like tiered rewards at the end of each ranked season and higher lvl's to reach. Lvl 50 seems too short lol
A master ranked mode would be great.
Agree with other comments about loft/lie adjustments.....that definitely could help craft different play styles and strats.
I really wish they would make the next golf game VR compatible. I love playing the Golf+ VR game for Meta's Quests and the game play is great, but the graphics have a long way to go and can't compete with a PC golf game. I have played HB Studios' "The Golf Club VR" (2017) which was cool, but needs a refresh, and be able to use a golf handle for the controller so you're gripping a real golf handle instead of the handle.

To add on what I said a couple days ago and your predicted release date of PGA Tour 2K25, I think a March - May 2025 will more than likely happen if 2K25 does come out!
Heck, I just remembered that Top Spin 2K25 was released in April 2024….that is very early for a ‘25 year game to release! This could very well be a good setup for Top spin to release this past April 2024, NBA 2K25 in September 2024, and have a WWE/PGA Tour 2K25 release in March/April/May of 2025
Since 2022, the WWE 2K franchise has released their new game every March of that specific year (WWE 2K22 released Mar ‘22, 2K23 Mar ‘23, 2K24 Mar ‘24, and 2K25 is slated for a FY2025 Q4 release which will probably be Mar ‘25.
With this being said, I think PGA 2K could take this approach and release their games the same way as WWE with PGA Tour 2K25 releasing this upcoming April or May 2025
We shall see what happens and will Continue to see the Take Two Quarterly Earnings events that include the upcoming Pipeline of games! The next one (Q2 FY2025 results) will probably be around early November 2024 and then the Q3 FY2025 results will probably be around early February 2025 based on previous years so we shall keep an eye out for those results, if HB Studios does not give us an update about the release window of their next game soon. I know that HB Studios is not very local with news like this waits till the last minute to give an announcement of a new game. I mean, a lot of people are anticipating a new game this fall/winter but if they plan a spring release, the community has to be in the know about this

Some decent points. I do think the delay is because of LIV and PGA split. They cannot stabilise the career mode. That's a selling point for the game. Not for me, I only play for TGC which is a much more realistic career mode. I don't want to play Real courses in tournaments. I love the tgc designers.
My biggest issue with competitive is the ability to use either the swing stick or 3-click. IMO 3-click is way easier (especially on PC) and needs to be its own competitive mode. Maybe lumped in with a tier as you were saying

I think 2k25 being a reality is based how much VC did 2k23 push, I’m gonna assume not as much as 2k projected, hell I’ve never bought VC in 2k23 anyway.
The new Topspin was a bad sign for 2k25 anyways. It’s a different developer, sure but Topspin was typical 2k garbage. If PGA Tour 2k25 does release… it’s probably not even gonna be good😢

There's not enough players who play online to separate them, that won't work. 3 click shouldn't be in online ranked mode, it's too easy and has too big of an advantage. 2k need to look at Tiger Woods games and take all the good bits from that game. Stop trying to make golf games on the cheep and charge AAA money.
That's why you separate ranked mode to bring people out of societies and into it. Make a 3 click or a beginner pro level and then a no 3 click and masters level
@@Ma_Kachada I agree with what you are saying, but most people would play the easiest level and stay there, everyone who plays golf games wants to be a hero, that's just the way it is, unfortunately. Remember Tiger Woods games and everyone on the forum was asking for a "hard mode" Guess what happened EA gave that option and zero players played it lol.

I think they should remove all the nonsense stuff from the courses make it about the courses and the game play. Modify the physics so it’s closer to life like. I think the fittings and balls are fine because that’s kind of what reality is like there are different balls and different club and accessories. What I want is some sort of player characteristics that can be modified like the old Tiger Woods games of the 2000’s. Keep the swing modes of swing stick and three click but yah if there was a VR way to do it that would be great
They will never do VR & if you think the ball sleeves are like real life then you tell me which ball adds 60 yards to your distance and which other real life balls makes your ball glue itself to greens xD
They’re the most useless pointless unrealistic things in 23 & were introduced to potentially try force some form of micro-transactions but got left alone bc of how badly the community reacted to them & 99% of the competitive leagues would disable them …
