    Appreciate the information…you’re correct in that alot of folks affiliated with the university are in the know…parents, students, faculty…. As it relates to SAU is the issue really about them being made the offer to give up land or really that they have mismanaged funds for over a decade…are we having this conversation if the board and people they appoint don’t continue to make a mockery of the higher education system

    My aunt and uncle used to live in Madonna Acres which is near St. Aug. That entire community has been gentrified. Madonna Acres was a solid black middle class neighborhood in 60's thru the early 2000's. St. Aug was a solid fixture and enjoyed a lot of support.

    Shaw needs to get their wealthy donors to look into this matter. I believe there was an agreement about the campus expansion when they had to do the repairs after the tornado happened.

    I think its a great idea .
    Then the schools can join the meac. The revenue is going to explode. Combining both schools this big. Great revenue Southern University has 3 campuses in 3 major cites that they pull from New Orleans Baton Rouge la and Shreveport la .

    Huston Tillotson University in Austin, Tx has been trying fight off downtown takeover of its school.
