Mission Control Center (1969) | Manned Spacecraft Center Progress Report, January-July 1969

The Manned Spacecraft Center's Mission Control Center originally consisted of two identical Mission Operations Control Rooms, dubbed MOCR 1 and MOCR 2, each with four tiers of consoles. This 1969 government film segment joins the team of flight controllers inside MOCR 2 as they direct Apollo 11 and communicate with the flight crew. NASA restored and preserved the room as the Apollo Mission Control Center in 1992.
