I saw them in Manchester (UK) 2 days ago and I can honestly say that it was the best gig have ever been to in my life ...and I'm nearer 60 than 50. I have seen Crowded House once before, in 1993... and it was a great gig, but this song didn't particularly stand out for me at the time (Woodface was on loop in our house at the time). Having now seen it performed live again, and sung along to it with everyone else, it's now cemented in my soul as one of my most loved songs... to go from a cool, laid-back intro, to a full-on, multi-harmonied, choir-pleasing chorus in the space of one bar is yet another reason why we should all thankful that we have been lucky enough to be around at the same time as Neil Finn.
The music this band creates somehow summons a feeling or emotion that just can not be duplicated by any other band, at least for me anyway..,, And this version is awesome because of the way the crowd gets involved,.,.
This is so awesome and amazing. He coached the crowd in just the right way so they sounded so incredibly awesome. Never seen like this , so incredible..very impressive.
The drummer is a prematurely old man with no stage presence. American Matt Sherrod was just 49 when he played the drums here, although he has a greying beard.
That is one of my fave CH tunes & it was great to see that live performance. They are such fine men. Good to see them having so much fun with it. I want so much to see them live again!
This is great to see and hear. It's one of my favorite songs! But, mercy, the purity of Paul Hester's high harmony on this song...to me, it was so dynamic! Aside from his humor, Hesterl was such an incredible supporting vocalist. #intalentedmemory
This is their best song, hands down.
One of my favourite songs of all time. Great to hear live
And the song does not even show up when you first search the band. But it's one of there best songs.
It really is. I think it's better than Don't Dream it's Over.

absolutely true ... you are most fortunate ... missing Paul but the beat goes on !!!
Still a great band, so amazing after all of these years, and the songs still sound great!!!
Oh how I love this band. Thirty years on.
me too the love just never fades
Brilliant! You can see the sudden realisation in Neil at 0:22 that the crowd is louder than him.
weird to see how this crowd is louder than the 1996 farewell crowd
Damn, they really nailed this!
A beautiful communion between band and audience!
Best I've ever heard
How incredible is this. I am so very very impressed. He coached the crowd to where they sounded incredible. Never seen anything like this.
One of those "why didn't it do better on the charts" kind of songs...One of my personal favorite faves...thanks Neil
It still sucks that Paul is gone :(((
truly devastating !!!
Awesome! What a legendary band.
" A good tune is always in short supply".........Mary Finn

they are very good guitar players
nothing ever better ... not ever enough of CR's brilliance !!!
Fantastic !!!
The specificity of Tim and Neil's song writing is only matched by the relevance and resonance to many of all ages. JAW
Que buenos son!!!

Brilliant band and awesome tune 😊❤️🎶🎼

Acoustics were awful. Band were not in sync. No depth to particular songs when needed. Drummer is crap.
so im just gonna presume your joking or honestly not a person to be judging music
keogh1969 fools love to show their ignorance
Whaddya mean??? How are they not in sync. U Gud?
Why some people can't respect a fair opinion.
It’s ok in the world where I live)

Paul has truly left a huge void !!!
Thank you for posting.
Impromptu performance towards the end, an the audience was rite with him!
Inmortal song. Thanks, CH
I’ve heard a Crowded House concert described as being like an intimate little party where everyone is welcome
Neil Finn is such a great singer and a brilliant songwriter.
missing Paul but the brilliance persists !!!
