Okay, commenting before watching the whole video. The purpose of language is communication. You and Janik both get your points across, just fine. If you say, "in" the couch, rather than "on" the couch, we all still know exactly what you're talking about. Both of you have very good English. I talk to people all day - for my job - many of them from other countries. And you two speak better English than a LOT of people I talk to. If people struggle to understand you, then they need to train their ears and listen to foreign accents more often - because your English isn't bad, at all.
@@JossAndJanik as you said, with time you improve and you will always make mistakes. I am was born and raised in the U.S., my parents are from Mexico, and I still struggle sometimes. We don't know the entire vocabulary for our native language yet we continue to learn new words. When I saw your video, I was sad and thought that is the reason you had not posted videos (I'm glad that is not the reason). There came a time that I didn't notice you were speaking in English because just like many bilingual (in your case polylingual), start speaking German or Spanish.
People understand .. they just rude and mean acting they don't understand. Sadly causing sadness, depression etc . But Joss and Janik know how to brush things off and laugh about it cause they communicate and speak up without getting angry but being silly and funny.
People who have never traveled are usually those haters. So, pure lack of life experience! I’m sure most of them speak only one language fluently. So WHO CARES !!! We love you guys ❤🇩🇪🇲🇽
Well English is my mother tongue and, as far as I'm concerned, you both speak excellent English. Sure, you each have an accent, but from what I can hear, you are both very, very fluent and have great grammar and pronunciation for the most part! I don't know who those cricitising you think they are - but they are most likely not fluent in three or more languages themselves, so have no right to say anything of the sort to you! Another thing I've noticed from your videos is that you are constantly improving each other's English by correcting each other in your fun jokey way. So keep speaking English, I say - and German and Spanish too! By the way, people from other countries such as the US often pronounce words like Leicester and Thames incorrectly even though English is their first language! They have to learn those things just like anyone else who hasn't come across them before. As you say, we're all always going to be learning. If we ever get to the point where we think we know all there is to know, there's something wrong with us and we most certainly don't! Merry Christmas, Frohe Weihnachten and Feliz Navidad!:-))
I am English... take it from me both of you speak excellent English ! On the subject of accents, don't give them a second thought. Literally EVERYONE, speaks English with an accent. Move a few miles outside London and you will notice differences in pronunciation. A few miles more and it will change again, by the time you reach Newcastle you will think they are talking an entirely different language. ❤
Newcastle, Liverpool, Birmingham, Yorkshire, Somerset, Cornwall, Scotland, N.ireland, Wales etc, all speak with different accents. Most are more difficult to understand than your accents which I find easy. I'm English.
You both are amazing! Three languages and you learned each other’s languages--that’s so impressive, and anyone who says otherwise is obviously monolingual and has not traveled at all! I’m a native English speaker and at C1 level in French, which has taken so long and so much work, not having the opportunity to speak it everyday. And I have accepted that I will ALWAYS make mistakes. It’s a humbling experience. :) Your future kids will be so fortunate to have 3 languages surrounding them! Much respect to you both, and keep making each other happy! 😀
Your English doesn't suck. You guys do great. You guys are clear and you are easy tu understand. Even native speakers mess up. It bites that instead of helping or be encouraging, people decide to be mean trolls. You continue to be yourselves. You guys have great charisma and many people like watching your content.
I'm 73. Been watching your channel for years. Don't change a thing. You are a great comedy team as well. I tell everyone to check you out. I'm from the southern US. No one here speaks English. Just a lot of mumbling. On on Ocracoke island and the outer banks on the coast of NC that was one of the first colonies by the Brits back in 1600s some descendants still have words and accents from the Elizabethan era that Shakespeare would understand but not others in this state. Strange but true. They are difficult to understand. Language is fluid and malleable. Accents are cute. Nothing more or less. BTW have janik recite sonnet # 18 to you joss. That is the message for all time who cares about another.
I love this video, the best one I have watched this year. It’s literally what’s happening to me nowadays. I speak Spanish and my boyfriend speaks Thai and we have been together for almost 3 years speaking English because we met in New Zealand and it’s the language in which we feel more comfortable speaking even when our English sucks as well. So I feel truly identified with you guys. Don’t change because stupid people doesn’t understand how hard is to learn a new language and keep a relationship with someone from another country and culture who neither speaks English. I’m very proud of my progress. Well done guys!
I don’t believe the haters you’re doing awesome!! I also have issues with the way British people pronounce certain words especially when it comes to places like Tottenham and Leicester Square! Me Encanta cuando hablan en español también 😊
Don't let anyone judge how well you speak a language! It is very hard to learn a new language and the most Important part is that you try speaking without being afraid of making mistakes. You 2 are adorable, sending you love ❤️
As a new subscriber i think your english is incredible. I don't speak spanish and only a small amount of german. Language is all about communication and you're doing great. As a side note i personally think the little mistakes from non native speaker is really nice. Each 'mistake' is unique to the individual and I love accents it all becomes part of the person and the friendship . My German friend once asked me about self employed eggs. I was very confused. She tried to explain so she said " you know freelance eggs" then I realised she meant " free range eggs" we laughed so much. Sadly she died 2 years ago but this memory still makes me smile. All that to say i agree with you both 100% and that the mistakes are all part of the fun.
Thank you sooo much for making this video ❤ I’m part of an International NGO where I am speaking English as a daily basis and at first it caused me so much anxiety and shame not being able to speak properly without messing up with the grammar. My mates were so kind and encouraging with my English that I slowly started feeling more confident. Plus, I started to care less. Let’s keep on moving and improving. 🎉
I only discovered you two a few days ago and I'm loving your channel. The two of you speak excellent English and I imagine it's improving all the time. I know plenty of native English speakers who can barely put a proper sentence together. Keep up the good work and ignore the idiot haters who have probably never travelled past the end of their gardens.
Who cares what other people think about your accent or pronunciation? 😅 Everyone has their style. I love your videos because English is not your native language, mine neither, but you are doing a great job speaking another language with that level of fluency, I would like to have that same level even though I am still working on it. You're amazing guys. Don't give up and always do all you love. 😊🫶🏼
Both of you speak beautiful English. You are right about the journey of learning all languages, including everyone’s first language, we do so by making mistakes. The critical point is when you can start hearing your own mistakes and either self correct or ask someone else. That is what fluent speakers do. I applaud you and love your content.
I totally understand why you speak English to each other and why you make your videos in English, that way you can have more viewers than if you'd speak either Spanish or German. Greetings from Guadalajara Mexico, guys! 😘
I would imagine the people that made the comments don't speak a second language as you do. Your English is actually excellent. You're at very advanced levels. English is the preferred international language anyways. Haters will just have to get used to it. I'm a Busuu fan as well!
You have both gained such a clear and fluent level of English that i would completely ignore haters. I learnt English when i was little and after 20 years of living in Australia, i am still asked where i am from. I've lived in non-English speaking countries too as i'm originally from Chile and i have to say that anglosaxon countries are the ones who are generally monolingual so this criticism is truly out of ignorance. I am trilingual so i know how hard it is to learn a new language and to live and work in a foreign country. What you share is very valuable to us so please feel proud of yourselves! May God bless you both with joy, good health and wonderful moments to treasure 🙏😊
Your chart was cute and very true. Anyone can learn a language with time and practice. I enjoy hearing you guys talk about your experience. ¡Sigue así!
First of all, as a native English speaker who studied Spanish for 8 years, you both speak English incredibly well. I would say you are both what I would consider fluent. And I love this last month of videos - you are both funnier than you have ever been. I’ve been laughing out loud during every video. You guys brighten my day!
I completely get that you two still speak English with eachother, also you explained the reason soo well. My boyfriend and I met almost 4 years ago, he is German and I am Dutch. But we always speak in English to eachother, it's the language we got comfortable in and got to know eachother. Even though by now we both learned eachothers languages well enough to at least understand what the other is saying we continue to speak English (even if I talk German to someone else I always switch back to English to talk to my boyfriend). But we do get the question a lot why a Dutch and a German would speak English to eachother, since the languages are pretty similar 😅
Ich bin auch aus Hamburg. And I really like to listen to you, your videos are making my englisch better. Me gusto mucho. Muchas gracias 😍
I’ve been living for 30 years in the …came as a teen. Although I don’t have a thick accent, it’s still there. I try every day to improve my speech and my accent. It’s gotten way better. I love English and I don’t get frustrated; every day I learn something new. Honestly; I’ve met people who have been in the US longer than I have, and they barely speak a couple of words. You guys are fluent. Strive for perfection every day, that helps a lot…Cheers!!!
"International" English should be a thing since it's the pretty much official language for international communication. The accent or pitfalls shouldn't be a thing to worry about. Unless one moves to 24/7 live in "X" country, one's accent will always be "international". You'll pick up the accent of the country you live in. So, if you move often, you'll have a literal "international" English.
Glad you guys don’t care. I think the people saying those mean things are hating tbh lol I’ve been following you for a while, don’t really comment on your videos but I really enjoy them! 😊
People that comment those negative sad comments are super lame! You guys speak English well, good enough for us to understand you. I understand everything you say. And no you don’t look like a taco, a taco is food you are a person. People have so much hate and glad you ignore them!! I wish I knew German but it’s so hard for me to memorize… Be you and stay cool 😎 love your videos!! 🎉
I can relate with you so much, I'm Salvadorean, my husband is Canadian and we have 2 beautiful kids who are learning both lenguage, my mother lenguage is español por supuesto, in the house we speak the spanglish, our home and so rich in culture from both of us, and making a new different generation, learning another lenguage take time effort and just who is being that track can just appreciate the work is behind of your accent, i have a thick accent and I'm proud of that ☺️
I am from Poland and my husband is from Argentina, we have lived in Germany and now living in Benos Aires. We have always spoke english with each other no matter where we are.
🤣 Omg that taco comment lol! (I’m Tejana btw) It really made me laugh with your delivery, Joss you’re hilarious lol. I’m proud to “keep sucking” (in French) btw lolololol! And I totally get how English is the lingua franca of your relationship, because tbh it’s the lingua franca of many people around the world currently. As a native English speaker I’m privileged by this, and I take it seriously to make every effort to at least learn as much as I can of another language, and to understand anyone struggling with English. Sometimes it’s hard, yes, but most times it’s not a problem one I get used to the new persons way of speaking. I’m dating a French guy and it’s the most fun thing ever to date internationally, even if ldr is hard. It’s worth it and the language stuff just makes it more fun ❤
I love you guys! Son una gran inspiracion! 🥰🤗❤ P.S. You guys are so funny!
I totally needed to hear this today! I have been speaking Spanish for about 8 years, and even live in Mexico and I still mess up constantly. Sometimes I get so frustrated and feel like I'll never get better even though I am still studying every day. After watching this, I say f*uck the haters! One day I'll suck less so that's something to look forward to. haha. You guys speak great English and I love watching you in whatever language you choose to make your videos in.
I totally understand the native language of our relationship. My husband had been in the USA for the same amount of time I’ve been learning Spanish. My Spanish was better than his English when we met so Spanish is the language and foundation of our relationship. He now speaks English well but like you said, it would be weird to speak to each other in English - it wouldn’t feel authentic or sincere at all. Your English is amazing and if you ever want any pointers I’m here to help. The point is to communicate not to be perfect. ❤
I met my boyfriend in Canada. He is Japanese, I am Mexican and we both comunicate in English all the time even though he speaks a little bit spanish and I speak a little bit japanese. There's nothing wrong with your English. In fact, you guys should embrace it! Speaking more than one language is not easy ☺️
You both speak English absolutely fine and I bet most of the people complaining do not speak any language but English. Props to both of you, please never be afraid of making mistakes it is how we learn
I really enjoy listening to you, you are so inspirational! blessings
With that being said don't care about the opinions of others and enjoy the process learning a new language and meeting new people or getting new experiences through this in life.
Love the humility you guys show. Plus, must of the people saying you “suck” probably only speak English. You all speak 3 languages. You should be proud.
Guys, i am from Paraguay, we have two lenguage in here Spanish and Guarani which is our native lenguage, i know that my english sucks but the reason why i write this is because i want learn and speak english and i love the way that you two do, i understand when you two speaks. thanks for give me confidence.
I totally support and admire that you both are even trying to learn more languages. For you both to speak English and speak your native language on top of wanting to speak each others native languages now that’s a goal I want to accomplish in life. To be able to communicate with other cultures gives you more life experience and helps you be the bridge for many who struggle to communicate, because in a way you comfort them by assuring that they’re not alone and you understand them and will be there to help them. Keep up the great work, you guys are inspiring! ❤
Haters will never get it! I completely relate to you cause my fiancé is German and I’m Salvadoran but since the beginning we speak to each other in English (since he doesn’t speak Spanish and I don’t speak German) and we make mistakes but we don’t care 😅
I like you guys, I support your channel. I appreciate both of you speaking the common language that everyone seems to understand and communicate in English. Keep it going!
My parents were from Spain, specifically its region of Galicia. They spoke to each other in the Gallego language. Speaking Castillian Spanish to others not from Galicia. My brother and I were born in the USA, so obviously we were surrounded by the English language. My father spoke to my brother and I in English, since he was also fluent in English. I spoke to my mother in Castilian Spanish until her passing. We listened to them speak in Gallego. So ...... my brother and I essentially were fluent in three language developed since our birth. Remarkable how a child's brain can not be overloaded. I suggest that if indeed you have a child, you speck to him/her in English, which will be developed if you reside ultimately in an English speaking nation (German or Spanish of appropriate living elsewhere). Then pick either German or Spanish to speak to each other, which will be of great value to the child to be immersed in one of those languages, of also value to one of you. No intent to be insulting to Germans, it would be more practical for the child to learn Spanish living in a nation such as the USA, with its large Spanish speaking population. The child can then learn German in the USA schools and vacation trips to family in Germany. That is what worked for my brother and I.
The best if for the parents to speak in their respective native languages to their children. There’s something about feelings and emotions that’s hard to get through when you aren’t speaking in your native language. It’s not impossible, but it is harder and less “authentic”. What you are trying to express can be lost in translation, since words never hold the same feelings and meanings in different languages. Google translate may tell you they mean the same thing, but they truly don’t. Perhaps they represent the same thing, but they do so in different ways. As a native Spanish speaker who’s fluent in English, there are simply some feelings that i can only express in english or in Spanish, its hard and sometimes impossible to find words that truly mean the same in both languages. Back to your comment, they should speak in their native languages. The kid/s will learn both Spanish and German directly from native speaker. They will pick up English inevitability, it is taught in every single school, plus they speak English to each other so they will learn it the same way you learnt Galician.
I don’t get why people are writing such negative comments about you speaking English. Maybe they are jealous of what you two have found ♥️. I started watching your videos when I met a guy from Chile, he didn’t know German, I didn’t know Spanish - guess which language we’re using! I love this channel because you’re good hearted people, you’re fun and open minded. And I love that you use English, Spanish and German! Just keep it the way it feels most natural to you. Btw., Joss is the cutest English speaking taco I’ve ever seen 🤭🤭.
Hola! chicos i lived in a white neighborhood so my kids only learned English. My first language is Spanish but i lost my parents at young age so i stoped talking In spanish. Now I live in more Hispanic community so i definitely use my Spanish a lot more😊 Also my daughter Aylin is in Madrid Spain right now🙀 she was so nervous beause even though she took spanish 3 yrs in High School she doesn't speak it. I hope she has great memories i tell her all about you too😊 you guys make me laugh so much😂 by the way I'm from California but i was born in Mexico. Great video❤🎅🎄⛄❄
I met my boyfriend ( now fiance) in our American online University He is from Poland and I'm a blend of cultures( I speak English, Spanish and a bit of German ) we both live in different countries in Europe and our language of communication is English. We definitely need to speak a common language which is English and it makes total sense. Hates need a hug obviously, they criticize because they lack globalization knowledge, they lack love and happiness.
This is so true!! me and my gf have been dating since one year and we really don’t care about making mistakes (talking english)… while we understand each other is totally okay :)) we are from Mexico and Germany too. We love you ❤
I love that you both are trilingual! As a teacher, I recommend you first think about what type of school your child would go to. For example, if your child goes to a school that is mostly in English, then you could both speak your native languages at home. At least, based on both my personal and professional experience as a teacher. This way your child is exposed to all 3 languages. 🇲🇽
Joss and Janik, what is crazy is that I speak all three of the languages you speak: English, Spanish and German. My Spanish is at a C1 level which is almost native speaker. My German is about A2 or B1 which is almost Intermediate. However, a friend of mine told me the following about my accent in Spanish, ‘Lo agringado no se te quita”. Talk about discouraging to hear, that no matter how hard you try to sound like a native Spanish speaker, you will never get there. But it is not about the end result; it is about the journey. 😂. By the way, wann werden sie verheiraten?
I love the international part your channel and relationship ❤ All the international couples who have children that I know decided to speak to their choldren in their native tongue, spanish, german, japanese... if works fine and the ones who speak English to each other have a language their chiildren don't understand well because they're small so it's pratical to have a "secret language" 😉😄
I'm from Spain and my boyfriend from Albania, we met in Italy so ist the same as you, our only common language was Italian (maybe we could have tried with English...) and is the language of our relationship. Now we are in Spain and he is fluent in Spanish too... but it feels more natural taking in Italian for us. He has studied Portuguese, and we both are studying German, by the way. Libe Grüße
Your English does NOT suck. Seriously. I want to be able to speak Spanish at the level you all speak in English. And it's obvious why you all speak in English to each other. I can't believe other people have to ask. Smh.
I think everyone would be proud to reach the level of fluency the both of you have reached in english. I am not sure what "perfection" as a goal (whatever perfection means to anyone) would bring one in his/her language learning journey, because it is a personal journey, and to be or sound "perfect" in whatever language just sounds pretty weird to me. Love that you are learning each others native language and that you deal with the hate in such an elegant, humorous and loving manner. Alles Gute aus Mexiko! 🥰
Both your English spoken is very good regardless what people may say. I have been learning Español and I can assure you that your English is far better than my Español. muy bueno seguir adelante
You guys are Fenomenals love your English, never give up and just ignore these haters. They're jealous of both of you..
It doesn't matter mistakes if you recognize them and improve them. People that say that are unhappy because they don't even try. I'm so proud of you both because you're the perfect match and you invite me to improve and be better with the languages I am learning. Much love to you, thank you for your videos 😍 💕
My opinion: taking your curiosity to learn something new and actually acting on it means you choose to put yourself in a position to make mistakes. Turning your mistakes into a learning opportunity takes courage, humility and perseverance ✨ Most people who aim to bring you down are probably just frustrated that they haven’t done the work to cultivate those virtues themselves. Congrats on your language accomplishments and on enjoying the learning process together 👏🏼 Saludos desde México! 🌮
As long as you can communicate what you want/need, the language is enough : > I don't know how it works, but in Spain everybody tried to understand me instead of being grumpy because my Spanish sucks and I kept forgetting simple words, Spaniards are awesome! : > I work with Americans and English is not my native language - sometimes I do find myself thinking "what I just said, that didn't make any sense" : D but it works! I feel like those comments are from people who cannot speak any other languages, English only. Bitter, small-minded people. Oh and with the kid - the most natural thing would be if Joss talked to them in Spanish, Janik in German, and English? In almost every country kids' starting to learn in english in preschool/kindergarden and it's the language which is all over, so I would say this is the least of your worries : > I have a friend, she speaks to their kids in polish, the father in italian, they live in Barcelona, so in school it's Catalan and they learn Spanish and English as foreign languages. The 6 year old is pretty fluent in all of them, sees the difference, knows a lot and it's super cute with accents : D
your english does not suck ! keep it up plus your accent is lovely , also i love watching your videos keep it up guys much love from washington heights !!!!!
Hi guys, I am a subscriber although from only quite new. Please Ignore the sad haters, English is not your mother language, so you do quite well really, I too have a partner whom is not a natural British national and is going through all the same things. What I have found overall is, you know how good your language skillset is when you understand some one who is very bad at it. Your both very brave doing your thing in English on the web, I think you do a great job and should be very proud of yourselves. The only ones against you are very petty small minded individuals, and would like to think these types of people are in the minority, the world is becoming a smaller far more diverse place, especially in the UK, which is quite tiny really. It's long been a melting pot for everyone and I think it is possibly one of its best attributes. I think your both a good positive breath of fresh air Keep up the good work. Most entertaining. 👍
Love just the way you are... I can speak Spanish, English, French and Italian and IT IS AMAZING!!!! The fact you can communicate with people in the language they feel comfortable and aknowledged, that´s AWESOME!! PS. I love the way you take bad comments....
Firstly, thanks for your channel . I know pretty well what it means to live in a country where you are not a native speaker. The same happens to me. I'm originally from Colombia 🇨🇴 but I'm living in Australia 🇦🇺. so any opportunity or tool that I've had to learn and get better in English, I've just gone for it like your channel. So, to me, your channel makes all the sense, and I am totally agree with you relating to any of us who is in the process of learning a language, we will keep making mistakes and maybe we don't have a native speaker pronunciation, however it doesn't mean that we have to give up in our learning process. So, as you said, the conclusion is don't give up and without being disrespectful is better don't pay attention to the bad vibes and comments, because those just stop our learning and development process. Hopefully, you guys read this comment. Have a good 👍🏽 one. The best vibes for you.
the comments bit was funny as hell. i try to read comments twice ... once sincerely and then ironically. they can sometimes be sarcastic or satirical .... mostly its hard to get the tone of the writers, if they are not skilled in English. many people use the tone of their voice when talking to cover up bad grammar or perhaps dont use correct punctuation when writing something they would speak aloud with out a second thought. and yeah i think sometimes people just use comments to vent ( scream into the void ) or sometimes you can see a persons self loathing eg. why not full spanish or full german ...(i dont think they speak english that well and maybe dont like that about themselves. or they might not like the english language or people/culture for some reason, history? personal experiences? tv / media? anyways liked ya vids
You are both very enjoyable to watch. Please do not care what others think. You have both wonderful personalities with comedic values. Keep going keep strong. I will keep watching 🎉
Hi guys, my wife (also from Latinamerica) and I (also German) liked this video very much, thank you very much for taking criticism in such an intelligent and funny way at the same time. Somehow we see ourselves reflected in some parts of your history together but mainly because we met somehow the same way in the USA and we got so used to being and expressing ourselves in English that at this point of our lives and after living 3 years in the USA, 6 in Mexico, and now 1 year in Germany, and having an 8-year-old daughter, we can no longer speak in another language. Our daughter speaks perfect English because I don´t speak much Spanish and I always communicate with my wife and her in English, she also speaks and writes Spanish very well because we lived in my wife´s home country for 6 years and now she is here in Germany for 1 year and she is learning very quickly that she even corrects my wife!😂, with an excellent pronunciation. So, not only at the age of 8, she has not only learned the language of her two parent cultures, but also the great and super-necessary ENGLISH. With all this words, I just want to tell you that I strongly suggest you to continue with english language because it might end up giving an extra help to your future children.😉
I am Russian, my girlfriend is a Spanish speaker from Ecuador. My girlfriend speaks Russian because we are living in Russia but we always speak Spanish with each other. I think that the international couple should choose one more simple and convenient language because one can have a 100% control of what we are talking about. Speaking the third language might create some misunderstanding.
You are doing everything right. You are doing a RUclips channel and if you want to reach out to as many viewers as possible then speaking English is the best way as English is the most spoken language world wide. If you use only Spanish or German then your views would be a lot less. ( I am English with a German wife and have been living in Germany for 40yrs and I still can't speak perfect German). I think most of the haters will be native English speakers i.e English, American, Australian and so on who are renowned to be the worst at learning another language. I was a typical English speaker, on the first day of learning French in school I said to the teacher why do I need French when everybody in the world speaks English, I wish I had not thought that way, then I would speak 3 languages and not 2. Keep the great videos coming and I love the Spanish accent from Joss when she speaks English it is so cute.
This is the video (the first one) that got me watching you guys! I was binging a lot of Superholly haha and then like 2 years later you collaborated with her! Ok gonna watch this now.
I think while the graph is fine, there is a more complicated 'experience quality' with language. Its like computer graphics with the 'uncanny valley'. Its when you are getting 'quite good' that things stick out as 'not quite right', as opposed to when you are beginning, as its fully understood that you sort of stumble through, or when you are super experienced, and it all just comes naturally.. In that sense, the middle is the worst part on quality v expectation.
I love your guys’ channel and would love to see you guys make a video about how you guys went about learning English, Spanish and German. What methods did you guys find most helpful? And do you guys practice daily?
“The native language for our relationship “ that was so precise and clear. Con eso dijeron todo.
Thanks Jeanne! 🙏 You're totally right, most important thing is that people can understand you!
Even with error’s it’s not hard to understand people who are learning English. I think people just like to be jerks
Communication is what really counts.. Don't worry about what those haters have to say, they're jealous!!
People who have never traveled are usually those haters. So, pure lack of life experience! I’m sure most of them speak only one language fluently. So WHO CARES !!! We love you guys ❤🇩🇪🇲🇽
haTers.
@@azzteke thanks !
@@Ghengiskhansmum I'm from Australia and I agree... people from the places you mentioned have some of the most difficult accent to understand!
We speak English because we want to and because we can, Period Joss!! 💞
Your English does not suck! It’s fantastic! Love from Texas ❤
You guys are terrific! Don't listen to haters, its your channel and you can do whatever you chose to do 😊
Thank you sooo much for making this video ❤ I’m part of an International NGO where I am speaking English as a daily basis and at first it caused me so much anxiety and shame not being able to speak properly without messing up with the grammar.
If your English sucks mine is hopeless then😵🤯. You are amazing! soo happy to have you in London!❤❤❤
Hecho :)
I wish I knew German but it’s so hard for me to memorize…
Be you and stay cool 😎 love your videos!!
Un abrazo
No he visto el video.
Your English is excellent and fluent. You communicate very well and get the point across.
Nah.. don't pay attention to the haters. You guys are great!!
You two are amazing, not everyone learns 3 languages, your English is fine.
Now I live in more Hispanic community so i definitely use my Spanish a lot more😊
Also my daughter Aylin is in Madrid Spain right now🙀 she was so nervous beause even though she took spanish 3 yrs in High School she doesn't speak it. I hope she has great memories i tell her all about you too😊 you guys make me laugh so much😂 by the way I'm from California but i was born in Mexico.
Great video❤🎅🎄⛄❄
i knew that You Will comeback! Greetings from SLP
of course :D
I love the mistakes and think they are cute. Some people are miserable and they will always be miserable. You two are great.
You guys are so adorable! And yes, one never stop (stops?) sucking with a new language. Probably I already make a few mistakes in this sentence 🤣
We love you ❤
I appreciate you speaking English. It makes it easier for me to watch the videos and I enjoy your channels 😀
Libe Grüße
barely into the video...omg y'all are both speaking your second language!! it's impressive, and the 'mistakes' are endearing!
Much love to you, thank you for your videos 😍
💕
My opinion: taking your curiosity to learn something new and actually acting on it means you choose to put yourself in a position to make mistakes. Turning your mistakes into a learning opportunity takes courage, humility and perseverance ✨
Most people who aim to bring you down are probably just frustrated that they haven’t done the work to cultivate those virtues themselves. Congrats on your language accomplishments and on enjoying the learning process together 👏🏼
Saludos desde México! 🌮
As long as you can communicate what you want/need, the language is enough : >
I don't know how it works, but in Spain everybody tried to understand me instead of being grumpy because my Spanish sucks and I kept forgetting simple words, Spaniards are awesome! : >
I work with Americans and English is not my native language - sometimes I do find myself thinking "what I just said, that didn't make any sense" : D but it works!
I feel like those comments are from people who cannot speak any other languages, English only. Bitter, small-minded people.
Oh and with the kid - the most natural thing would be if Joss talked to them in Spanish, Janik in German, and English? In almost every country kids' starting to learn in english in preschool/kindergarden and it's the language which is all over, so I would say this is the least of your worries : >
I have a friend, she speaks to their kids in polish, the father in italian, they live in Barcelona, so in school it's Catalan and they learn Spanish and English as foreign languages. The 6 year old is pretty fluent in all of them, sees the difference, knows a lot and it's super cute with accents : D
your english does not suck ! keep it up plus your accent is lovely , also i love watching your videos keep it up guys much love from washington heights !!!!!
Sweety don't worry about it at all! Don't let them get to you! Your English is perfect and your accent is your identity. Don't change it!
OMG you two are SO MUCH FUN!
Felicidades!
I think your both a good positive breath of fresh air
Keep up the good work.
“The native language for our relationship “ The best quoted!!
Hahahah! Love you guys! With you speaking in English I get to practice my listening!
I don’t care if it is perfect or not! ❤
the comments bit was funny as hell.
i try to read comments twice ... once sincerely and then ironically.
they can sometimes be sarcastic or satirical .... mostly its hard to get the tone of the writers, if they are not skilled in English.
many people use the tone of their voice when talking to cover up bad grammar or perhaps dont use correct punctuation when writing something they would speak aloud with out a second thought.
and yeah i think sometimes people just use comments to vent ( scream into the void )
or sometimes you can see a persons self loathing
eg. why not full spanish or full german ...(i dont think they speak english that well and maybe dont like that about themselves.
or
they might not like the english language or people/culture for some reason,
history? personal experiences? tv / media?
anyways liked ya vids
Agree
Your English is amazing. Both of yours. Very impressive 😊
