Played by: SCHLAUCHI
As in the predecessor Ghosts 'n Goblins, the player takes the role of the knight Arthur, who must save Princess Guinevere and rid the kingdom of the Ghoul Realm which is revived under a spell of Emperor Sardius (known as Samael in the Japanese version), who has kidnapped Guinevere in the Phantom Zone.

I still remember the Christmas I got this game. Played it nonstop for years.
Same ❤
Ditto
I still play it today. I have always found it much more fun and addictive than "Super Castlevania IV"
This game is insanely difficult.
But the NES iteration makes it look easy by comparison.
Love this game, but the slowdown in some areas makesit even harder, especially when double-jumping. Nice job
Ah, one of my very first games. Super Ghouls n Ghosts just about rivals Super Mario World with its nostalgia factor for me. Classic.
Absolute classic game. Great video.
Ah yes, this game, one of the most definitive examples in history that being difficult does NOT automatically mean being good or fun.
The boss at 18:59 has to be the most generic design for a boss . Its like a card board graphic spinning around you.
Fantastic game, awesome video
I have never seen that shield upgrade you got in the first level before.
Music of this is beautiful.
Ce jeu a justifié à lui seul l'achat de la super famicom
Are you that good or did you have to splice together various takes into one video? I never could get through 1 whole level without dying many times lol
cool
Legendary before Capcom the USa division sold their soul excellent as always
Been playing dis hea game since it wuz knew. Kannot git past lvl 1 even today... juss siayen
Imagine after the second lap through the game the princess says "oops, you need to find the bracelet's magical gem or else it's powerless, lol" and you have to play through it a third time
For the longest time a lot of people thought that you couldn't switch weapons or die on the second run. or else you'd never get the bracelet back and have to loop through again.
Man, that has a lot of slowdown, and the music could have been better by Capcom standards.
Como joguei este game em minha infância;a versão do nes e muito mais difícil ja à do snes eles deram uma facilitada
I can't even comprehend how well you play this. Insane talent and great video
insane talent and some invincibility, right
Savestates
The best pieces of advice that I can give for anyone new to this game are:
Always get the knife in the first playthrough, because the torch sucks.
Get (and keep) the bracelet located in a chest behind the first tree in the second playthrough. Even though it has a HORRIBLE attack range, the bracelet is the only weaopon that can defeat the true final boss.
Demon’s crest
@@moescredriver5486At least that game doesn't have a timer. It can still manage to punish players, though, if they don't get every single crest and amulet.
I can barely make it to the first boss.... Great job on this one!!!
just like Nes part 1 I still could never get past level 1
Hardest game I have ever played in my life
I remember the first time I played this game. At 34:26, I was like *"NOPE! NOPE!"* and never played it again. Felt so good to redeem myself by finally finishing it on the SNES mini. Btw, you are a boss for playing this on professional.
I hate the magician 😂😂 the curse is horrible one.
The easiest game from that unforgiving series together with Super Ghouls and Ghosts on the GBA. You did great! It is the first game I have completed on my Switch Oled!
This game pissed me off back then tbh 😅😂
If that princess wasn't already in love with Arthur, defeating evil twice over is a good way to prove it!
One of Hardest SNES Games
Well done, Slauchi! I'm terrible at this game (it's the jumping for me) so I never got to see just how much Mode7 was utilized; it's beautiful!
The third game by the way.
He can move shockingly well for a guy covered in at least 45lbs of solid gold armor!
🧡🧡💛💛
Very difficult
I can’t believe I traded this game in when I was a teenager
A must own game for SNES owners.
Man this game holds a special and sentimental place in my heart. My grandfather played this in front of me and taught me how to play it. Hope he's watching and enjoying it even to this day
if a person enjoys, likes, loves playing Ghosts n Goblins or Ghouls n Ghosts then Super Ghouls n Ghosts is a must own
Akuma mortis inmortal.
