This guy goes way back into Australian music history.
Can you believe how terrific he sounds at his respectful age.
Hi there, how is the weather today?
Lovely to see Colin again. Many years ago when in Hobart he came to our house and visited my 9 year old little sister (she loved him), she had a brain tumour and was too sick to go to his concert. She went to heaven not long after his visit. Love you Col
Have followed Col Joye's music for over 60 years.
God, he looks and sounds great. What a trooper always smiling, an aussie legend
...and I wager you meant trouper...Col would not want to be a 'killer' Army dude !
Yep...he was and is cool. Trocadero times !!!!
My mums favorite great aussie ,and great singer and great song love you col keep singing and always stay happy and smiling your so handsome xxx
Col..great stuff ,,,keep going old fella,,you deserve it ,,,Dougie
What a legend
Still my Aussie favorite! Beautiful “boy next door” demeanour! Have seen him twice in concert…met him in 2000 and received a kiss on the cheek! Didn’t wash my face for days! LOL
Sounding better than ever.
My brothers were in the army from the late 50s and every time they came on leave they would bring the latest Col Joy 45s and many other singers at the time and we would have a big family dinner then move all the furniture out of the lounge room and everyone including my parents would rock n roll till the early morning. Memories are the greatest gift your family can leave you with. ❤️❤️🎶🎶💯💯
Just beautiful
Amazing, no words can describe this song
I grew up in Canada with my mum singing and playing this song for me. She was from Sydney.she also met Col Joey in England I believe, I she had an autographed photo from him circa 1960 Such a good memory.

1959 classic...and notice that the audience actually know the words!!
