I'm glad you went with your instincts on the fall leaves, it came out beautiful. Thank you for pointing this video out to me regarding my question of your tree technique that you did. It did explain it a bit to me. Not being an artist myself, I have to see it to grasp it. If you can find the time, a how to would be amazing, but I do understand you are quite busy and may not be able to. As always, beautiful work, thank you for sharing!!!
You are so welcome, glad you liked it. I will make a note and see if I can share a how to on these trees, thanks for the request! I hope I can do it soon. Thank you so much for taking the time to watch, really appreciate it 🤗💗
What a gorgeous page ... I love these videos and thank you for sharing so we can color along with you when have time. I look forward to the second part and seeing this page completed.... YAYYYY! ;o))))
Love your videos. This is my first time commenting and may I just say, WOW!! I Have learned so much from your background techniques to your clothing tutorials. This page so beautifully brings your background inspiration and blending and shading techniques together. The color choices are simply stunning ❤❤❤❤❤
Thank you so much, so glad you liked what I had imagined for this page! I really enjoyed trying go put my vision to paper 🤗💗 thanks for taking the time to watch 🤩
Thank you so much 🤗 To be honest I have not collected a vast collection of pencils - I tend to use Albrecht Dürers most of the time. I love them as they work great as dry pencils as well as watercolour pencils when activated with water. So I find them very versatile and it suits my colouring style. 🤗💗
I have the same water color pencil set as you but when I use them dry they don’t seem to be as vibrant as all your beautiful pictures…I also have the full set of prismacolors that I love…Do you think It’s the Amazon paper that causes my pencils not to be as vibrant or is it that I’m not pressing hard enough when I use them dry…They definitely are a harder pencil than my prisma colors…but I love both sets.
Hi Barbara, I haven't used prismacolours but I have heard they are very soft pencils and don't take a lot of layers to make them vibrant. I do get vibrant results with the watercolour pencils, but I have definitely noticed a difference on different papers - I don't work on Amazon paper too much, but when I do, I have found that my colours are slightly less vibrant when I use them dry only. So I like to base with the pencils wet first and then use them dry to get better results on that kind of paper....or I use waterbased markers. Hope this helps 🤗💗
@@shelscolouringjourney yes that’s what I’ve been doing when I use Amazon paper which is not very often… I learned to base my Amazon paper pictures with my markers first from watching your videos… thanks so much you’re a wonderful colorist! Whenever I get on RUclips I look at my subscriptions and if you have a new video I always click yours first!
I have no idea, I have been trying to upload it for 24 hours I think RUclips has had some issues.....not actually sure why you managed to see it though. I think it was set to private LOL! Thanks for letting me know...it should be public now though....hopefully!
