As someone who worked with the older population for years before reselling; And someone who has older parents...THANK YOU for interacting with them! It is so precious!
That is exactly what I posted last video. They are so kind and so pleasant to all the folks who are selling. I am so glad they take their time and realize there are more to sales than just the ‘stuff’.😊
I love how you both have your strengths and you don't say I alreadly looked and there is nothing over there. You recognize that each of you sees things differently .
I did the same happy dance when I found my pickle keeper at a yard sale for $0.25! My aunt has been a Tupperware dealer for 50+ years so I grew up with all of it, I just can't afford to buy them new. The old stuff like that is the best, and if you eat pickles a lot it's great to be able to pull them up out of the juice!
A booth would be a nice addition for things that are difficult to ship and for things not selling well online. Also great to see your creativity arranging the stuff.
I don't think you guys should have passed on the Don Julio items... I sold a Don Julio 1942 empty bottle, in the special edition blue box for $210... it sold the first day I listed it... should have listed it for at least $300! I paid $20 for an entire storage unit... I've made over $4,000 flipping the contents so far! Looking for a flipping partner in North Eastern California or Western Nevada!
Fun picking! Those fused glass trays where you bought the stained glass pieces were nice...too expensive? Check out fused glass trinket dishes, trays, plates.
Ohhh, I think you shoulda gotten those little Halloween cats. At the prices she was giving those would have been well worth it, and easy to ship. Oh well. You got such great stuff! I don’t know how you find time to get it all listed, then packaged and shipped. You’re amazing!
I'm a furniture refinisher in Nova Scotia, Canada, and I was drooling over the little chairs and dresser at the first sale you attended in this one! If I was closer . . .
Those plates that were next to the the little seagull are called fused glass and if the are made by Peggy Karr they are worth a lot. just wanted to let you know to BOLO for them😊
I love how you two interact with one another! As well as how your interests arent always the same but you find a common in all of it! I love to watch all your videos. If your ever in TENNESSEE GO TO SPRING HILL GOODWILL and Nashville yard sales you always find great deals spring Hill is one of the richest counties in Tennessee
I have never seen such organized garage sales. Those were beautiful neighborhoods and everything laid with such care. I wish we had these citywide sales in our area.
SO MUCH FRANKOMA! The first sale on this episode there was so much Frankoma that you guys were right in front of, I was screaming inside "Look at what's right in front of you!!!" lol
Kayla, I started watching your videos about two months ago. I need something to supplement my income tax income. You've been an inspiration! I live in Minnesota, hearing that you're freezing at 38 degrees made me laugh. 😊
Kayla. Matt the first sale had so many treasures. I loved the pottery. Makes me happy to see the both of you talking things over your taste is the best. I was going too say not many people.
Yes booth please, I have a shelf and I have so much fun with it. We are moving to independence kentucky from florida next month and can't wait to go thrifting after watching your videos.
Cutco advertises lifetime guarantee. I had a handle to crack and I sent it in for a replacement, after shipping and whatever else they charged, it cost almost as much as I paid for it new and Hich was around 50.00
Yes everyone has a booth y’all need one too because there’s lots of bigger items that just make sense to sell local and not ship we love our Booth ! Also can’t wait for the new house tour … and possibly show us some you toured so those looking for a Kentucky house could see what’s available..! Also Hope you had a great Mothers Day Kayla ❤
Can't believe you found Cutco knives for so cheap! I've had my sets since the 1980's. I'm missing 1 steak knife, so I keep watching to see if you find one. I had that Tupperware pickle keeper but never used it. Probably donated it. Great finds!
Nice lil haul. I see items that I’m drooling over, lol. What gets me is items that were big and in demand back in the day,are selling so well for you guys. Hugs,😊❤
I had dejavu at the sale at 11:15 lol! Just watched a video of someone else at this SAME sale lol! He was walking back to his vehicle and that cute lady called him up from the street to come to her sale lol! It was too cute lol!
We use several of the Pick A Delis for pickles and also pickling peppers. I have 2 sizes of the original style, but mine are from the last 3 -4 years when I joined. They are great for so many things.
Someone definitely added the snowflakes on those glasses. I got that very set with a matching ice bucket for my wedding shower in 1984 and there were no snowflakes on them. Forgot how pretty they were. Wish I still had them. I think I sold them at a yard sale lol
Just saw the Frankoma pottery collection, made in Oklahoma. It is heavy from a shipping perspective, but there were some pieces that I have never seen in the wild before. Wonder what they could have gotten the whole lot for, because they could have picked it then flipped it to a local collector/reseller and not have to ship it.
Woo hoo!!😅 You two had a blast at the yard/garage sales today..😍😮 Love all the great finds y"all got..🤗 Keep up the excellent work guys..🎉 Take care..👍❤🔥🤙
You left those two train cases. The Samsonite and American Tourister. I would have definitely grabbed those. I know they were called train cases back in the day but it's either a Cosmetics case or a medication box, but yeah it's right at the time when he's talking about the bullhorn things broken into three places and then the camera pans up and they're right there!
I can’t believe they were getting rid of those Cutco knives! You can get them sharpened for free with a Cutco rep. And they last a lifetime! They are so expensive retail!
Fyi, Kayla... the Tupperware pickle keeper/saver, is called "Pick-a-deli", a play on words, named after the famous Piccadilly Circus in London. (I used to sell Tupperware, in the early 80's) 🤗
One of these times I'm going to count how many times Matt asks, "How much are your little...?" That subtle way of saying, "You want to price these CHEEP because they're nothing of consequence." 😁
My daughter threatened to steal my pick a deli, so I bought her Amazon knock off set of 3 in orange. I know you resell but I was drooling over the gift wrap bolt @ the 22:29 mark. I have one of Christmas-ish paper I bought in 2007 for less than $6 & I am still using it...
Make sure to subscribe to Kayla’s channel for more garage sale fun!! youtube.com/@thehomeschoolingpicker?si=o02L-WLV6U9dP5-Z

I love watching you too, Kayla is so full of enthusiasm and fun! Matt is so calm and reassuring! What a lovely couple.😊
That Frankoma pottery in the first sale was GORGEOUS.
A couple who garage sales together stays together! I love ya'lls videos and hope to find my garage sale soul mate!!!!!
I love how you both have your strengths and you don't say I alreadly looked and there is nothing over there. You recognize that each of you sees things differently .
All that Frankoma Pottery at the first sale!
Love Frankoma ware!
@@janedeclarico5920 I know, me to. The prices were great, I bet a deal could have been made on all of it!
@@Laurie-rq3xq IKR? Why did they ignore it?
And the glasses in the holder!!!! That first sale was everything
In Australia we use the pickle container for beetroot storage too :)

Absolutely get a booth AFTER you have moved. They can be high maintenance, but you two would do great!
You walked right past the francoma dinner Ware, collectable mid century dishes
I would've too. What a pain to have to deal with/ship
The lady w the yellow Tupperware was so nice!
The green cups and bowls next to 4 tiles are Frankoma. Their very old! I would have grabbed them!! 😅
A booth would be a nice addition for things that are difficult to ship and for things not selling well online. Also great to see your creativity arranging the stuff.
Awesome finds, the lady with the Tupperware containers, could of talked forever, how sweet ❤
The Cutco spreader you scored in your 25 cent knives is my absolute favorite Cutco knife. Best sandwich knife ever plus cake cutter and serve!
I don't think you guys should have passed on the Don Julio items... I KNOW!!!! They didn't hear me! LOL

It was beautiful, too! 😢
Booth
They don’t even look! They will now! Lol
I so wished you’d picked up those two glass dishes at the sale where you bought the stained glass suncatchers! They were beautiful! ❤️
Agree! I love art glass!❤
I think those two dishes are fused glass rather than art glass.
I loved those fused glass dishes.
Ohhh, I think you shoulda gotten those little Halloween cats. At the prices she was giving those would have been well worth it, and easy to ship. Oh well. You got such great stuff! I don’t know how you find time to get it all listed, then packaged and shipped. You’re amazing!
My daughter use to have a Koosa
Would love to see you guys get a booth.
I'm a furniture refinisher in Nova Scotia, Canada, and I was drooling over the little chairs and dresser at the first sale you attended in this one! If I was closer . . .

Congrats!!
That first knife you picked up after you bought it was an icing spreader for a cake
Kayla and Matt, u r both so amazing! I learn so much from your videos. Love how respectful u both r with each other and also with the sellers.
I must say, I love the music used during your estimating of sales.
I love when you said buku 🤣 My momma says that all the time. I don’t hear it that often anymore.
Kayla, I started watching your videos about two months ago. I need something to supplement my income tax income. You've been an inspiration! I live in Minnesota, hearing that you're freezing at 38 degrees made me laugh. 😊
The chatty ladies were so cute! What a nice bunch of sales!
Love the green tiered tray at the first sale.
Y'all are so cute together. Matt is so sweet and kind to you. Hang on to this man, he's a keeper!
I’ve mentioned this many times but I just love the lil whistle tune at the end of Matt’s videos 😊
Oh my goodness !! 20 times what you spent in projected profit ! Amazing finds !!! Congrats you two !
Long time viewer of both your channels! You have taught me a lot. I'm so glad you both found happiness together doing what you love! Best
I’m new to their channels. How’d they meet ?? They’re cute together.

Wow! What a bunch of good stuff you are passing by especially all the pottery!
16:24 I use love when Kayla put out booth videos when she had one.
I laugh 😢 Matt responds to Kaylas greetings or goodbyes to the sellers. 😂 sometimes, she responds to Matt when he's talking to the sellers. Hilarious
The round cane tray at 16:04 is for laying foodstuffs e.g. mushrooms, herbs etc, out on to dry I think 😊
I will forever refer to Ginko leaves as Bok Choy!😂 loved that video 😅
Matt is so fun and funny. The Cutco "butter spreader" is a spatula for frosting cakes.
I think that big Cutco spreader is for frosting on cakes.
Love the story about snowman & snow!
Nice lil haul. I see items that I’m drooling over, lol. What gets me is items that were big and in demand back in the day,are selling so well for you guys. Hugs,😊❤
You two are awesome How fun to watch you.

We use several of the Pick A Delis for pickles and also pickling peppers. I have 2 sizes of the original style, but mine are from the last 3 -4 years when I joined. They are great for so many things.

Was that a Tramp Art frame you missed (at the sale that was at the 24 min mark)? Maybe?? It was a great sale, you got lots of cool things there!
Francoma!! Gorgeous! Someone snapped that up! Dang I wish it was me. Shipping would have been pricey.
Fyi, Kayla... the Tupperware pickle keeper/saver, is called "Pick-a-deli", a play on words, named after the famous Piccadilly Circus in London. (I used to sell Tupperware, in the early 80's) 🤗
That was a great deal on the recumbent bike!
New subscriber love your videos specially the ending part wheee you show how much you sold everything ❤️
One of these times I'm going to count how many times Matt asks, "How much are your little...?" That subtle way of saying, "You want to price these CHEEP because they're nothing of consequence." 😁
I was slobbering over the Frankoma!
I'm totally drooling over that frankoma. I would die if I found that amount in the wild.
